Trying to find a windshield for my car was proving to be impossible when EVERY place in Calgary turned me down and couldn't supply me with a replacement. The classic car glass shop said that they could get it to me, but before it even made it across the border it was going to cost me well over $1400.00 CAD. I took a chance on Speedy and was surprised when they said that they could get it to me and have it installed for substantially less! There was a mix up when the product arrived, as I had asked for the windshield with no blue fade at the top, but that arrived instead. I was prepared to install that one since my options were non-existent, but they called me a couple of days later to say that the one I ordered originally had just arrived! What are the chances that they would have TWO of my windshield! I had the non-fade windshield installed the following weekend. They told me it could take up to 3 hours to install it, but it ended up taking 1 hour. The glass looks amazing, no leaks, great price (all things considering). They will use the door sill on your vehicle to stand on leaving black glue from their boots on it. The interior will need detailing as the vehicle will never be returned in the same condition as it went in. As well the previous installation had scratches on the door pillar beside the windshield. The installers do not care. Better off to pay a little more and go elsewhere which is what I will do for any future windshields.
