My car was broken into while parked at the Bus Terminal in Douglas Glen. Fortunately Easy Auto Glass was just minutes away so I dropped in to see what could be done. Without hesitation Kelly,told me to take a seat and that someone would be around to take my car into the back and clean it out and put plastic over so that I could continue on my way. She gave me a very reasonable estimate to have a new window installed but unfortunately installation would not be for several days. They gave me the option of checking to see if I could get it repaired elsewhere earlier, which I was able to do, and when they brought my car back after it had been cleaned up, I inquired about the cost and was told, no charge even through they had spent about 30 minutes cleaning up the broken glass etc. Customer service sure does not get any better than this! I was visiting Calgary with my family and our car was vandalized. It was New Year's Eve and we had to travel home a very long distance--in the cold and with no window. Easy was able to get me in right away and replaced my window. I couldn't believe how little it cost. On top of that, all of the staff here are super friendly. My 2012 Honda still has the original windshield, which was cracked and pitted. Easy Glass replaced it and provided a lifetime warranty on chip repair. The multiple grades of glass available allowed me to either save money or get better quality glass. I chose to spend a little more and go with a mid-quality windshield. I hope my windshiled investment lasts a long time and the free windshield repair that Easy Glass offers surely facilitates this. They even provided stickers to shield out dust and moisture from any chips that might occur before getting fixed (for free), which again makes my investment last longer. While I was waiting, they repaired a couple folk's windshield cracks and they both appeared very pleased that there was no fee. I have a windshield mounted dash camera and they remounted this onto the new windshiled and routed the wiring better than I had previosuly installed for no extra charge. Easy Auto Glass Review: August 24, 2019. App was scheduled and started at 10:00am sharp. Already seeing a busy morning for their team, first time windshield replacement with my FE-2015 series. Team took information of my dashcam mounts, easy removal of mounts popoff and specified to them to leave the wires for my dashcam (around windshield covers originally) to be placed on floor of vehicle. (I'll self wire dashcams again). While waiting, doing my own thing, often saw the engagement positive support with your customers, about rock chips, other questions and concerns and how easily you handled it with great listening skills. Even with a brief tech check to review further and more. Your entrance waiting area, a simple settling with Shaw Open wifi is quite helpful, and the seating decently comfortable. Coffee maker with various options to choose from including some basic tea's as well. When it was done, earlier then I expected. Time was about 1.8hrs ish vs the 2-3 I was suggested max. I was greeted by I believe the owner (I'm not great with names). Given a solid handshake, breakdown of what's what for done. I was there for a full windshield replacement, with mention of my dashcam mounts that needed to be dislodged from the window. They did, - Windshield replacement. - Test of Wipers in right alignment - Cleaned my floor mats (never asked, surprise/happy). - Relocated my wiring that ran up the side of vehicle to top of windshield and neatly wrapped around sun-visor so I could super easily reinstall without having to redo the whole shabang. - Testing fully of my rain-sensor (and it rained later in day, worked like a charm). Was very impressed. Then I was given the bill/receipt (as promised/quoted/matched, no surprise for any of the extra workmanship of awesomeness). I was given the breakdown of, no pressure washes of any sort for 24hrs approx, and before I reinstall the dashcam mounts, to give it a few more hours. (I gave till late that evening to give it additional safe time personal preference). Minus a few bugs on the window from driving stoney a bit, the view was much better, clearer. I got two rock chips on my window in one road trip and was really irritated when I came back to Calgary. So, I searched google and yelp and found Easy Auto Glass. I was shocked when both the google and yelp reviews had this place at 5-stars, but it quickly became evident why: this is a great local shop with fast, friendly service at a very reasonable price. Once you are in their system the first windshield repair is $30 and the subsequent are $15. Talk about customer loyalty incentive. Plus, it was very fast and friendly service. They are even willing to transport customers if the repair is a long one. I don't how much more I can say - this place is worth it. Even if you don't live in the South, you should really come to Easy Auto Glass. You won't regret it. read more

Yesterday I took my vintage truck to Easy Glass for a new windshield. As it it in excellent condition, I was looking for someone to get the work done without damaging the paint surface around the roof and windshield opening. Dave Somerfeld and his assistant did a beautiful job. They dropped me off at home before starting the job, then took their time to do a good and careful job. Dave then picked me up afterwards and brought me back to the shop. The truck was cleaned, and left looking marvellous! I was more than pleased with the way I was treated, and Easy Glass uses Canadian made glass, not the chinese knockoff stuff that is easily broken. read more

I went back again and still WOW! Got a nasty chip in our windshield and called Dave he was once again willing to come in early for me but I waited until after 830 to come in and he did it right away. Looks brand new! Didn't even complain that I put scotch tape on it and it was hard to get off at first. Such a great place! I had a co-worker try these guys out and said he had talked to Dave about working with our social club to get a discount and that as president I should reach out to them and I did. We have a great discount with Dave and crew but I really had to test them out myself, with some huge cracks in my windshield. I didn't realize when I asked for a ride to work at 7am and he said yes, when I pulled up and saw they didn't open until 8 and he came in early to give me a ride, I felt terrible but shocked in a great way. Customer service was awesome! Their service is great! They even tried to wash my Jeep but the line ups were so long that they just washed all my windows for me. I recently had a windshield replaced on Daves' recommendation, since the nasty rock chip I recvd was too large to fix properly. I thought I did my homework in checking out their online reviews, which for the most part, seemed favorable. When I picked my vehicle up, there was a substantial tear in the headliner on the passenger side. It was brought to their attention of course, however, Dave was unwilling to take any responsibility for it. According to him, he there was nothing they would have used or done to cause the damage and in his 'gut', the situation 'stunk'. He advsd that his 'guys' told him that the damage had been there for a while and was not caused by them...end of story. My car has always been well taken care of and detailed weekly. And anyone that does this knows that you notice 'everything' about your car. I'm thoroughly disgusted that they are not accepting responsibility and that I am now looking at the inconvenience and cost to have this repaired. Even more than the repair itself, I'm livid that he has questioned my integrity and suggested that I was not telling the truth. The only thing I could have done differently was to take before photos in their presence as proof as to when and where the damage occurred. What is a consumer to do? I will be telling anyone and everyone of my experience and advising them to take before photos. read more
