I was dreading that they would send some kid who did not know the difference between a Phillips and Straight edge Screwdriver. Trevor Called us, Was EXACTLY on time. He appeared to be 6' 2" tall, G.Q.- CoverModel looking young man. We wanted a couple little non-emergency things done. He patiently Explained, EXPERTLY on our 60 year old house, things that might be done. He was like the Terminator, No talking on his phone, just Methodically Working Dilligently. We had two toilets switched, (long story) . Each one appeared to be about 600 lbs. He picked them up, by HAND, (AMAZING.!!), AND hand-moved them with ease. Should have taken a phone picture of that.! A few little items and he talked us into $1200.00 in Upgrades that we gladly Paid. As a Professional House painter retired, we tested new painted by not their painting skills, but Caulking Artistic Skills. Caulking is a Complex Skill only few have Ever Mastered, Myself included. His Caulking around our Toilets was Brilliant.! I was Amazed at the Skill of someone so young.! Trevor is THE= 1 In 100 Employees you want in your Company, A Real "Keeper". I would have easily Paid $200 dollars an hour for this guys Expertise and Professional Demeanor. Wherever Trevor got his P.H.D. in Professional Plumbing, A-1 is Lucky to have him. I am a Fastidious Perfectionist and dreaded opening the door to a "I always wanted to work on a Transmission, Boss" type of worker. Trevor renewed my Faith in Young People's Work Ethic. Any more work we need on our Home or Properties, I will Call A-1 and say it has to be TREVOR or NO ONE. !!! Give this Young man a RAISE.. 5 Stars , We RATE him and A-1 Plumbing. Randy Hoffmann. (Dont forget to check your Dash, Young man.!!!). Thanks again A-1 Plumbing, YOU GOT A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE...!!!

During that visit, the technician told me my furnace blower and vents needed to be cleaned. I took him at his word, scheduled the work, and also signed up for their maintenance plan. Later that same week, multiple technicians came out to complete the vent cleaning and blower cleaning. They spent a long time at my house and appeared to do thorough work. I personally watched one technician remove my blower, take it out to my driveway, and hose it down. At the time, I believed the work had been done properly. About a month later, I had my first scheduled maintenance appointment under the maintenance plan. After inspecting my furnace, the technician approached me and recommended that I have my blower and vents cleaned. I was pretty surprised and asked him if he genuinely thought they needed it. He showed me photos of a dirty vent and stated my blower was dirty. I explained that I had just paid his company over $2,000 less than a month earlier to perform that exact service. The technician seemed caught off guard and went upstairs to inspect things further. When he came back down, he told me he could see brush marks in the vents, but that the cleaning "wasn't done to his standard." At that point, I started trying to contact someone at the company about my concerns. It took numerous calls and text messages before I finally got a response. Eventually Jesse called me back and told me he had the technician in the room with him on speakerphone. He explained that the technician believed the prior work simply hadn't been done to his standards and they wanted to offer me a "redo." Honestly, I found that conversation uncomfortable and unprofessional. I didn't really want to discuss concerns about a technician while that same technician was sitting there listening on speakerphone. I agreed to the redo at the time because the situation felt awkward. A few days later, I called back and specifically asked to speak with a different manager because I wanted to discuss the situation privately. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received a callback. At this point, my concern is that technicians may be pressured to upsell services, even when they may not actually be necessary. I literally watched the first technician clean the blower in my driveway. I have a hard time understanding how it supposedly needed another cleaning less than a month later. When I questioned it, it felt like the company scrambled to come up with an explanation rather than simply acknowledging the issue. Between the conflicting information, the lack of communication, and the lack of follow up, I'm left questioning whether I even needed the original service in the first place. I spent over $2,000 with this company and walked away feeling more uncertain than confident. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other HVAC companies before using Total Comfort Solutions.
