I generally hate clothes that are artificially high just because they have a certain logo on it. As I have become older, also a bit more prosperous, I have gotten past that to some degree. I do still hate big logos but have to come appreciate nice stuff in all aspects of life. I am also a lot quicker to admit when I am wrong. Vineyard Vines is now one of those places that I appreciate much more now. My first experience was at Tanger and got some great deals on some clothes, so I took the dive. My wife gave me a good bit of shit when I showed up at home with a VV bag. She can kiss it. I'll say this.... These threads do hit differently. They fit well, the fabrics are high quality, and it's just damn comfortable stuff. Additionally, talk about arriving and being blown away by service. That's what you get here, man. I dunno about you, but my 10-16 y/o will not be allowed out of the house in half the things I found in this store. Everything is really cute, but a little too sophisticated and perhaps "showy" for a younger gal. They have tank tops, bottoms, shoes and dresses- very expensive tanks, bottoms, shoes and dresses at that. The sales associated was super kind. She sized our baby boy's feet and then assisted us with trying on two sizes. We found the ones that worked for us. The quality and fit are amazing. I was so excited to put his little bells on them. Too cute and nostalgic. The have so many cute items for boys and girls. They also have toys and other adorable items for your littles. Like all of the sales, if you consign or volunteer you can shop early and that is where I always find the best selection. I don't usually go back for the 1/2 price sales but with this one I do. Since it is smaller I find better 1/2 price items then some of the other local sales. This year's fall and winter sale is August 27.

When I walked into the store, I immediately noticed how congested the aisles were and wasn't sure how to begin maneuvering them with a stroller. Always one for a challenge, I tried. I also ended up with hangers clinging to every inch of my stroller as well as my wheels hitting the bottom of the clothing racks every 2 inches I moved along. I'm confused, don't moms shop here? Don't moms shop here with their children? Given you are located inside a shopping mall, don't moms bring their children in strollers when they shop with them? There was another lady there with a stroller in tow and we happened to be trying to get through the same area. Forget it! What a nightmare! I grabbed not even close to everything I wanted just to get the hell out of this place- I was so annoyed. I get up to the register and my bumper car friend from the boys department has beat me to the already full line of 5 others waiting to be rung up. What's this? There's one gal behind the counter? No thanks! I'll place these items I no longer wish to purchase on the nearest rack and leave. I'll have you know I am the type of customer who would normally return those items to their proper locations. The thought of having to go back down any of those aisles made me cringe. Sorry. I just can't.
