They carry very trendy women's clothing, shoes and jewelry. I bought a tan and white seersucker dress that has already become my new favorite article of clothing. I can see this boutique becoming a go-to place for me as it's conveniently located right down the road from my office. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The prices were great! Two dresses, two tops and a pair of shoes only set me back $174. I already can't wait to go shop there again!

We walk in, maybe 1 other customer yet maybe 5 workers if my count is correct. One lady advised of the 40% sale area and then vanished. Me, walking around with an item to try on, passed at least the 5 ladies I counted, never asked "would you like a dressing room, is there anything I can help you ladies with?". Expected proper customer service for the price point. One may ask, "did you ask for a fitting room"?", nope I sure did not. I've worked in CS before and it's your "job" to ensure EVERYONE that walks through that door is treated kind, with respect AND as a valued customer hoping they'd be become a repeat customer. With so many stores closing, people losing jobs and the store almost empty, they should have wanted that additional purchase to close their quota or go beyond for the night. Whether the people in store knows it or not, this economy is very fragile to offer this level of service. I'll end with this, I will/would never step foot in this/that store again or purchase online and/or recommend this store to anyone. First, the clothes are quality made, they fit me great, and baby they have color. If you're looking for boring gray and black this ain't it. Next, the store is vibrant, clean, brightly lit and clean. You can tell the staff cares. Now, most importantly the staff. I was greeted by Eric. He was friendly and super helpful. George, the young man who helped me a lot, was friendly, knowledgeable and gave recommendations and shared his opinion. I was checked out by Jimmy. Again, a friendly, helpful person! In fact, I remember when it used to be a Repp B&T & a Casual Male. When DXL took over, it got CRAZY EXPENSIVE -at least more than I want to pay for clothes. I remember once they had a selection of pocket squares for close to $100 each! (Just the hankie. No tie included!) Well, now a big guy can finally find a nice selection of designer labels (Polo Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Vineyard Vines, True Religion, etc). I've seen sizes 6X and size 60+. Personally, I can shop for my size in many department stores at much lower prices (albeit the selection is very poor elsewhere.) Clearance Back Corner: Yes, I'm the guy who starts in the back of the store and first looks for any bargains first. For the past few years, their clearance corner is pretty meager. The selection is slim and most items are only 25% off the sticker price. YUCK! Merchandise: The products are high-quality. I still wear sportcoats, slacks, jeans, etc. I purchased from DXL many years ago! Coupons: I no longer get any discounts that "wow" me or compel me to visit. Most coupons require that I spend at least $100! I did receive a birthday coupon -if I spend $50. (Thanks DXL) People: The people are always nice and willing to help. I've seen many come & go over the years, but Katrina is still there and always greets me with a warm welcome. Store: The store's appearance lives up to its reputation. They always have a great selection/stock and you can always find a sale going on. They have items for work and play. I have shopped at this place for years now and I have never regretted a purchase. The staff is always helpful and friendly. As an extended service, they will even help you style an item. When I wear my boots I am going to post them here on Yelp, so be on the lookout!

I think the first thing that struck me was that the deals here were better (read cheaper!!) than the Collierville Torrid store, as this store had an amazing buy one, get one free for clearance items whereas as Collierville store had buy one, get one 50% for clearance rack items. So with that kind of a discount, not only did my friend purchase 4 dresses for the price of 2, I ended up making out like a bandit too and purchased some clothes I had previously been on the fence about - but when its a BOGOF offer, that's an easy decision to make! Both our bills were right around the $100 mark (hey Torrid isn't cheap!!) but at $25 for 4 dresses, we both felt we got a great bargain! She told me to come to the shampoo area and without looking through my hair or even touching it, she stated, "because of the density, it will be $75 for a roller set." I then ask, "what is the cost of a shampoo and only blow dry?" she replied, "$65." I asked, "it's $65 for a shampoo and blow dry, no style are the prices online correct?" she replied, "Yes, the prices on the website are for people with thin hair!" I refused services and left. JCPenny's website mentions nothing about a possible upcharge nor anything regarding prices are only for people with thin hair. I was simply being hustled by a JCPenny's stylist. JCPenny should be ashamed for allowing employees hustle clients out of extra money. JCPenny's website confirmed the following appointment: SHAMPOO AND STYLE - Includes shampoo, instant conditioner hair set on rollers and placed under dryer, a quick blow dry and curling iron can be done as well ($35-$65)
