I came in today looking for workwear and some travel appropriate dresses. This Macys isn't really my go to Macys but again, after a really good experience I'd keep in mind shopping this store again. I primarily shopped the INC woman's wear space and then went to try on some clothes. Kudos that the dressing rooms were clean and clear of excess clothes. Easy to spot too which was nice. I did happily find a nice dress for Europe and some workwear clothes and made my way to the register. Biggest shoutout to staff Israel who was working and helped me out. He was such a lovely gentlemen, so positive and friendly. Loved talking to him and just felt he brought such a joyous great vibe to our checkout experience. He was talking to multiple of us while ringing us up and acknowledging customers in the line. His attitude just made my day and I appreciated how helpful he was and personable, he didn't make it feel like a "cold" emotionless check out experience which sadly has sometimes become the case when shopping retail. Israel is a 5 star employee and next time I'm shopping I'll definitely keep a lookout in the register for him because he was a sweet guy yet very professional. Good work Macys.

Clothing for children doesn't have to be patterned with cartoon characters and stuffed animals. At Janie and Jack, the styles are classic and sophisticated while still being appropriate for children. While strolling down El Paseo, the Tiffany Blue winter coat with faux fur collar and cuffs caught my attention and drew me in. The double breasted style was a classic cut in a gorgeous color that I would buy in a nano second if it came in my size! Next to it was a cowl neck swallow in cream and gray color blocking adorned with pastel flowers across the chest. I want that, too! For me! The shoes, faux fur shawl scarves and other accessories were also on trend and yet classic. Stunning clothing! The boys selection was just as nice, lots of corduroy and velvets in rich burgundies, navy and green for the holiday. But the little girls clothing is what captured my heart. The sales staff working that day was very friendly and as I exclaimed my delight in the clothing line and expressed my desire for the same items in my size, we all had a laugh. I was immediately greeted by the very wonderful, specific smell that wafts through Hallmark stores and my senses took me back to childhood shopping excursions with my Mom to buy holiday cards at our local Hallmark. The store is chock full of cards and wrap, which makes it worth stopping here to get something unique. There are all kinds of decor and licensed products displayed in a weaving pattern which made the floor pattern interesting. I have continued to shop here for my wrap and cards since first stopping in last year, knowing that there will be a selection of cards for nieces and nephews that I just can't find anywhere else. On top of that, the ladies who work there are so cheerful and seem like they are having the time of their life. It is so wonderful to be around such good energy!

I have always found the staff, friendly and helpful. A year ago, I decided to move to Palm Desert and and continued my Residential Interior Design here. I've been to the store a few times. I am not sure what is happening at this location, "Palm Desert CA " , but the staff looks extremely unhappy. specifically one gentleman who calls himself the store manager but he is not. I have seen him picking fights with different clients almost every time I go there. I have tried to strike a friendly note with him, trying to calm him down. At one occasion, out loud, he was telling a client that his job is what people call "choose wisely" at the beginning of ones career. Once he was staring down at a client to a point where the lady started yelling " Are you staring me down? may I talk to your manager?" With a great attitude, he responded, "you are talking to him." Long story short, last time I was there I was doing heavy shopping for a 85 year-old woman. Nothing big knickknacks and kitchen items and Home Staples. I was doing a small project for her here at the desert. she has various ailments and I had to be careful choosing the right products for her, which is light enough and easy to operate. Thus it took me over two hours in the store to do selection of various items.. I think that had raised a red flag with the staff. I was treated so poorly there. I had over five workers approaching me and asking " can we help you with something? it seems you've been here for a long time . Every time I would respond, yes I am buying for a client. I need to make the right selections for to clients situation. Sorry this takes time. I do understand store security is important and shrinkage is a problem, but not everybody is a thief . I do believe I dress up nicely and present present not like a bum, so not sure what the issue was ? At the end, yes, the same man approached me aggressively with the same question. May we hrlp you? You have been here for a long time . I broke out in anger, saying "is there a problem sir? " I'm buying over $800 worth of products here. Nevertheless, I was followed by him until I went to the checkpoint and paid for the products and left the building. Funny enough, he knows me from previous purchases from him, which always has been over five to $600. I tried to make a complaint to their head offices. I got a email saying that my concern has been sent to the store manager Jennifer Martinez and she will get back with me shortly . This was a month ago and no one did. again, it's a pity. I love the store and most probably I will be shopping at their other locations, but this one definitely has some major staff issues . I will not be returning there. Who would like to be treated like that?......

BoxLunch has every character and type of merchandise from Coraline, Corpse Bride, Disney to Sanrio, just to name a few. They carry everything from pins, clothing, art work, bags and much more. The store is creatively set up from Cinamoroll and My Melody on the left side when you walk to Coraline merchandise, Strawberry Shortcake and Disney merchandise in the middle of the store. Excellent customer service as soon as we walked into the store. Thank you Olivia, Jessica, Ricardo and Alex for providing excellent customer service. We were greeted and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. Olivia also informed us to just let them know if we needed anything. We purchased a Sanrio cap and Strawberry Shortcake sticker book in store. We also did a few items like Coraline hoodie, My Melody keychain, Sanrio cap, Sanrio crossbody handbag and Disney totebag for store pick up. After our purchase on Friday, Jessica notified us that they have a fandom sale online where merchandise are 30% to 60% off. She informed us that we can purchase items online for store pick up, and so we did. We came back on a Saturday and Sunday to pick up the rest of our merchandise for in store pick up. Our daughter is happy with all her merchandise and we're very happy about the pricing online as well as the store pick up option. Thank you again to the amazing staff at BoxLunch. Will be sure to recommend this location to all our family and friends who frequent going to Palm Desert and The Shops.

I love Coco Rose Home as it's my favorite coco rose store out of them all. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help once you find something you need or have questions about. It's always great to support a local small business. If you are in downtown La Quinta check out coco rose for their home goods stores and also their clothing store nearby. It's a fun place to shop and unique.
