I saw a Klaus crew working in my neighborhood so I reached out to the Project Manager who then contacted the company's Inspector, Josh. When Josh came to inspection our roof and to provide an estimate of what our 40 year old home needed, the report was very detailed about what we needed to have done. The inspection revealed some small problems which we will be addressing with the replacement work but we had NO idea the problems existed! Josh make a thorough inspection of not only the roof but the attic area above the house and garage. (This was not a drive by inspection). The Estimate provided by Josh was very detailed and itemized for the Roof and Gutter work our home needed. Everything was listed and the price was very competitive. The…read morepricing was considered good for what we were getting, or at least was considered a good price at time of contract signing. The crew that showed up at our property was David (Site Supervisor) and Ricky the head of the "crew". During the initial inspection we were told that a supervisor/Project Mgr. would be onsite all of the time the crew was there, and we later found out this is NOT the case. The crew to me seemed very disorganized and did things haphazardly with little to no safety in mind. We were told at the inspection that they would be picking up after each day and running a magnet for screws, nails, and sharp items. We NEVER saw that happen and there was very little effort in picking up after themselves each day! We presented a sandwich bag full of sharp items such as screws and nails to David, David told my wife he was going to issue her a gift card, but that never happened! The job was supposed to be a 2-3-day job and became somewhat of a nightmare that lasted 11 weeks. Initially they were finished on 8/13/2024, which there were many problems that not only myself recognized being in the project management business, but my wife also picked up on. There was a list of notable issues to be fixed that should have been caught during install. Most of the issues were bent or wavy metal on the facia boards and the way they terminated the metal at the ends was below standard and what I called "sloppy". Other issues included terminating soffit vinyl into an existing painted, crown molding that not only looked bad, but also presented as a future maintenance issue. Also, soffit vinyl was loose in many areas and still is. The crew came back to fix the issues and in doing so created other issues and damage to newer house siding vinyl installed. During installing the facia covering they found areas that the facia board needed to be replaced. I gave them the green light to replace the damaged facia boards, and this was a huge mistake on my end as the facia board that was replaced was found to be installed incorrectly later due to the metal NOT fitting on the facia board. They corrected most of the issues and the damage they did to our siding, but as they corrected, they made more problems with bent and dented metal on the facia boards and some of the soffits were pitched in a weird angle and didn't look right, which is why they were back on 10/22, but as they tried to fix the "weird angle" on the soffit they cut the rake board to shreds with an oscillating cutting tool (see attached pic of damage to the rake board). Also, on 10/22 we showed David a few of the areas that needed caulk, missing metal, and an area in the rear that the metal was bent (hammer blows) and the drip edge was bent up, which he admitted to placing nails in the drip edge to "hold it down". When David showed Ricky the dented facia metal, he became angry and said "f**k this" and walked away, I showed the issues to David and he told Ricky to go ahead and replace the metal, but Ricky was very apprehensive about replacing that facia metal because they had placed nails into the drip edge and bent it up and there was no way of making that right without replacing the drip edge and the facia metal! So, the final "nail in the coffin", no pun intended was from them to give us $200 off - WOW after all the time I had to take off from work at over $400 per day and the issues to deal with! We took the $200 off due to the fact we didn't want any more damage to our home and to end this escapade! I would not do business with Klaus again and the reason I gave 2 stars as some things were done correclty - gutters were installed correclty and all the roof and flashing work was done well, but due to the problems encountered with the facia metal and soffit I would not use them again!

Some leaf blowing was performed, but we did not observe any flushing of the rear downspouts. After they left, we confirmed the back downspouts were not flushed. A photo provided by the company appeared to show work only on the front of the house. We contacted them the same day. They were initially responsive and said a crew would return within 10 days to complete the job, but that never happened and we received no further communication.

The day they planned to replace the roof, rain was predicted. They let us know they would come the next day, unless rain was again predicted. They arrived at 7:20 with 8 workers and a supervisor. They finished at 2:30 pm. The roof looks great. We are the third house on our cul de sac to use Deer Park Roofers. We all are happy with their work.

A large crew arrived at 7:00 a.m., the crew boss introduced himself to me, asked where the outlet was and patiently listened to my concerns. The crew was industrious and, according to my neighbor, more joined them as the day went on, so at one point there were 20 people working on my roof. It was completed in a day, looks amazing, and was done with a high level of quality, according to my neighbor who is himself a contractor. The driveway (where they dumped the old roof into the garbage truck) was pristine when I came home from work. Everything they did spoke of expertise, great work ethic, and excellent workmanship. What I wasn't really thrilled with was the inconsistent customer service. It seemed like a patchwork variety of people who worked with me at one time or another during the process, and no one really kept me informed on what was going on. The initial assessor gave me minimal information on even simple parts of the process, like how a choose a shingle color. (You waited a week to tell me (only when I specifically asked) that I could go to the office and take some shingle samples home, so I can compare it with the house color?) And the morning of the roofing job when I had a concern regarding one of the employees, the crew boss was dismissive of it. I called the office and they sent out a supervisor, but no one got back to me on what happened. (I didn't need details -- a simple "we looked into it and resolved it" would have been sufficient). But what really sticks in my mind was when the job was completed. There wasn't even a text message to notify me that they were finished, or any type of conversation or report on how it went. I came home from work to find them done and gone. Finally, after not hearing back from them (or even getting a bill) for a week, I called the office and was told that "earlier this week" (I assume 4 or so days after the initial work) a Deer Park inspector came to my house, checked the workmanship and approved it. So you went on my property without my knowledge and walked on my roof? And at no point discussed what you did with me or showed me pictures of the results? So would I use Deer Park again? I'd have to think hard about it. I hate being in the position of either choosing great workmanship/expertise or good customer service towards the property owner -- is it too unrealistic to expect both?
