customer service not good at all. one of the workers sold my grandma a laptop we ordered in store…read morealready paid for it. we were supposed to go back to pick it up on a thursday they called my grandma telling her they sold the laptop we PURCHASED ALREADY to another customer. not sure why they would do that knowing we already paid, don't know if they were keeping track on who purchased it already, or if the guy who sold it to us informed other workers that it was owned already by us. they then proceeded to tell my grandma they were going to ship it to our house and that it would come in on a monday or tuesday. laptop never came called the store they told me it would come in late. called again on a thursday the guy who sold us the laptop said there's been a problem with apple that he'll "reach out to the company and call me back". he never ended up calling me back, later on i recieved an email stating we got a refund. so this guy never contacted us back about nothing or kept us in the loop about what was going on or where the laptop was. pretty much played in our faces and with our money. honestly not professional at all and has no type of good work ethic whatsoever.

This was our first visit to Newington's Ollie's, and we scored a fantastic deal. I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88. I gotta be honest I've done business with Southington Security for years. They have changed my…read morelocks and added dead bolts and added extra security to the doors etc... But what really pissed me off was when I moved still in CT mind you and approximately 20 mins from Southington so I call them to set up an appointment and was told just to come to my house would be $150 and with just some basic lock changes and re keying would be over $1000. I'm sorry to say you've lost my business for being greedy. I bought the locks I wanted got them keyed alike and hired a handyman to put them in for a fraction of what Southington Security was charging.
