    While they did have the best prices around the state, they don't have any in stock. They had the least expensive prices throughout CT with the 8 to 9 places that i shopped at price shopping. It did lend itself to work out in my favor all this running around. I used the price match guarantee at the other place I ended up purchasing from with PC Richard price even though they didn't have a handful of what I asked for in stock. Some models they didn't even know when they'd be getting them in. They said it could be a month or more. Appreciated their honestly. Hector was great to work with while I was there regardless that we didn't purchase there. He was up front and honest with us with his information. Some models we inquired on weren't coming in until November 10th and the day I was shopping at PC Richard was 9.26.20 Again, definitely appreciated his honesty instead of just taking my money and tying it up to hold a spot for an appliance we don't know when it's coming into stock for delivery. So PC Richard did fulfill it's purpose by saving me money from purchasing it elsewhere at least $75 for the price match and then it gets even better. I also saved an additional $100 off the price match price i received. I did this by opening a credit card. PC Richard i believe only offered 10% saving by opening their credit card. So time well spent and thank you PC Richard for having at least good advertised prices that I was able to use. I'll look this place up next time I'm appliance hunting to see if they have in stock models. Their delivery schedule was also good. They, again, if they have in stock, deliver within the same week or even less. No Sunday or Monday deliveries. Thanks P.C.

    I purchased a top‑of‑the‑line Speed Queen dryer from SK Lavery--nearly a $2,000 appliance--and it…read morearrived defective from day one. The installer immediately noted the loud banging noise. The dryer also scorched an expensive comforter and now requires multiple cycles just to dry a normal load. I contacted SK Lavery several times and spoke with Tiffany. While she did schedule a service call (for a brand‑new machine), she made it clear that I was expected to deal with Speed Queen directly. SK Lavery delivered a defective product yet refused to take ownership or provide real support. This is not the SK Lavery I once trusted. They may sell high‑end appliances, but they do not stand behind them. Once they have your money, you're on your own. This situation could have been handled easily if SK Lavery had taken responsibility instead of shifting the burden onto the customer. Until they change course, I strongly recommend staying away--there are plenty of reputable high‑end appliance dealers who still value accountability and customer service.

While taking a photo of a range to send to my husband, the sales manager abruptly knocked the phone out of my hand and told me photos were not allowed. I was completely shocked--especially after calmly explaining that I was simply sharing it with my spouse. The manager, who appeared to be older, was surprisingly aggressive and confrontational. I was left wondering how a company could justify employing someone who treats potential customers this way. I am currently shopping for a full suite of appliances--including a double oven, refrigerator, two dishwashers (for the main kitchen and butler's pantry), and a cooktop--so this could have been a significant sale. Frankly, I'm relieved this happened before making any purchases. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to deal with this store if any issues arose after a sale.

    I have very mixed feelings about this location. The first…read moretime I came here (back in September), I was told that if I dropped my phone off before 3pm it would be fixed the same day. I arrived a little after that, and my phone was repaired and ready the next day with no issues -- so my first experience was positive. Four months later, my screen started malfunctioning with no physical damage, which should have been covered under warranty. I scheduled an appointment online for Monday, drove 30 minutes, and when I arrived the store was closed, even though both the website and phone system still said they were open. There was no notice or update. I called the next day before driving there again and was met with attitude about them not notifying anyone they had been closed. When I arrived later that afternoon around 4:15pm to drop off my phone, the entrance still wasn't shoveled. I had to climb through snow just to get inside. The next day, I was charged $99 by my insurance because the claim was automatically changed from "warranty" to "accidental damage," even though the repair was not accidental. (This was done by the insurance company, not the store.) When I went to pick up my phone, I was told my SIM card tray was missing -- which was not true, as it was in the phone when I handed it over. It was inside an OtterBox-style case that snaps together, so it couldn't have just fallen out. The employee I originally gave the phone to claimed it was never there, while the employee helping me at pickup (who was much kinder) offered to order a replacement. I ended up ordering one myself because either way I would have had to wait two days -- but if the store ordered it, I would have had to drive 30 minutes back to pick it up. It made more sense to just pay the $6 and have it delivered to my house. That said, I want to give huge credit to the second employee who helped me with the insurance issue. He spent nearly an hour on the phone fighting with the insurance company, dealing with dropped calls and transfers, all while still helping other customers, just to make sure I wasn't wrongly charged. He didn't have to do that, and I truly appreciate him for going above and beyond. Because of him, my experience went from incredibly frustrating to being handled with genuine care and effort. I just wish the overall process, scheduling, and communication, was more consistent and professional.
