The tech folks are great when they come for repairs, not their fault. But our copier is not good quality and broken down so very often. We are close enough to the end of our service that we are going back to previous copiers and Royal Business Systems is refusing to help in any way! Just shows we are making the right choice....

Was sold a defective standing desk; told to call product support to obtain the correct parts…read more Spent 40 minutes on the phone, parts no longer made, and my credit card payment couldn't be refunded because someone had "deleted the transaction" out of the system. Returned the desk to the store, was told since the order had been cancelled a refund had probably already occurred and to check my statement. I drove home and did so--no refund. I took photos of the statement and returned to the store; clerk wanted a printed statement. She called the manager, who said to do a refund "without receipt," so the money finally went back on my card. The manager said, in a couple of weeks, if a second refund appeared on the card, to "let us know. You know, be that person," implying that I might be dishonest. Given all that had happened, I found that attitude offensive--I fully intended to notify them if a refund appeared. In short, this store sells defective products, expects the customer to do all the legwork to set the situation right, and is rude in addition. I won't shop here again and suggest others don't either.

There's a huge parking lot and the store is pretty easy on/off from the freeway. If you don't want to spend any time in the store, you can always order online and then just zip into the pick spot to grab the item. Not quite curbside pick-up, but almost! And, they usually have in-stock items pulled within the hour. Definitely my go-to place for any large order copying too. Jae is super helpful and efficient!

Two weeks ago, I replaced the ink cartridges, using knock-offs because Brother's pricing is exorbitant (for me). At about the same time, the printer began acting erratically, including horrible printing and then stopping altogether due to a message stating paper jam. I followed ALL the steps stated by Brother for "clearing the jam." Without any exaggeration, I followed those steps precisely not fewer than 20 times spread over 2 days, and tried all several other things such as cleaning nozzles, cleaning rollers, unplugging, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, etc., while frustration built. There was NO paper jam of any type, no staples, no paper clips, NO HELP FROM BROTHER (other than to send me the steps, again). I had been to Modern Office Equipment a few years ago with another printer, which they fixed, so finally took this one to them (now partnered with Royal Business Systems, Inc., located at 2717 N. Hogan St., Spokane 99207). Within 24 hours, they diagnosed my printer, found the issues (clogged nozzles, DUST on control tape which INDICATED a paper jam!) and cured the patient (100% operability), and for an incredibly fair and unexpected price! And honey on my biscuit, the two folks with whom I interacted (Reception/Intake AND the Tech) were as nice and pleasant as anyone I ever met. Today was a diamond.

When we didn't hear from them, we called, and were told the printer cartridge had frozen up, and it needed to be cleaned. Simple enough; we told them to go ahead and do it. They called later, and told us the bill was $90. $90?!?! We could have bought a new printer for that! We were billed for one hour of work. I didn't know people who cleaned printers made $90 an hour. Ridiculous. We will never go back, which is unfortunate, since we had plenty of business to throw their way. My advice? STAY AWAY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

Almost every time I have been in there, they have exactly what I am looking for and for a reasonable price. I most recently equipped a whole office with furniture from them (desk, chair, small file cabinet and side table) for what it would have cost to buy one new office chair from one of those chain office outlets. It's all trusted name brand furniture, in great shape and fits our needs perfectly. I will always go there first when looking for new office furniture items. I had already boughten a chair online and it arrive broken and I battled with the company for months to fix it and they never did. This store exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival they immediately greeted me and asked me what my budget was and only showed me chairs within by budget which I thought was great because usually sales people want you to exceed your budget. My chair is super comfy and I am looking forward to using it for my online schooling. Will definitely return to purchase another chair or office furniture when needed.
