She was too much of a princess to get her dinner from a garbage can, or get a shoe thrown at her from a mean old man! Red Wing doesn't have animal control, and all local shelters were full. The foster-based Camp Companion rescue also never responded back after I filled out their online form...so the situation was getting desperate! Last Hope became my literal last hope, responding immediately that they would be able to place her in foster care after being vetted at a clinic in Burnsville. I was so impressed with their communication and caring--I can't recommend them highly enough! They really do have cat class and cat style!

The Bond Between is a non-profit veterinary clinic and rescue that provides support for rescue animals, foster animals, and other animals not adopted from them. We continue to see Dr. Gohr because she is incredibly friendly, sweet and affectionate to our dog, and knowledgeable on the veterinary services we have requested. Pricing is always straightforward and upfront, and portions of the cost go back to supporting the mission of the non-profit. It's also not difficult to get a convenient appointment or even a last minute appointment for an emergency!

This is just pure animal cruelty. They stopped over prior to leaving to meet my pets and find out everything that I wanted to have done. They might do more in 15 minutes than I do in 3 hours with regards to my pets! They offered to send me texts with updates, etc. When I came home, the cats looked well cared for and I think they left the litter boxes cleaner than when I left them! :) Just good people. Wow! These guys are the best. My boyfriend and I were going to Duluth for a short weekend get away,…read morewhich is difficult for us to do with a special needs animal. Our senior cat has diabetes and needs to be fed and receive insulin injections on a pretty strict schedule (every 12 hours), and finding friends who were both available for the whole weekend and comfortable giving shots proved to be difficult. We found Twin Cities Pets through an online search and were ecstatic to see that they had prior experience with insulin injections and came to your home. A lot of other pet sitting or boarding services said that they will administer medication, but not injections, so this was lucky and we were so glad we didn't have to board him somewhere, which basically sound like cat jail. Marea came over and met with my boyfriend to pick up our spare key and learn about our cat's routine. We also have a bunny and a few tortoises, and she said she was happy to check on them as well. Marea sent us email updates letting us know everyone was doing A-OK, and we were able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing that our pets were in great hands. The cost was comparable or maybe even cheaper than boarding, and I know that our cat was much happier staying in his own home and familiar environment. We will definitely be using Twin Cities Pets the next time we go out of town and I would highly recommend them to any other friends in the area. We adopted our first kitten from the AHS in Woodbury. The whole experience was great. We were…read moreallowed to browse and spend as much time as we wanted with the animals and we weren't rushed at all. The staff were very knowledgeable and were up front and honest about future care needs and health concerns with all the animals. The staff took the time to answer all my questions. Adopting does cost quite a bit of money but our kitten had all of her shots and we received our first vet visit and all tests/medications were covered in the first 14 days. They also offered to microchip for $30. We were very happy with our experience and we are so happy we adopted Blue and she has been wonderful.
