We love Fusion and our Springer Spaniel, Archie, has always had a great experience. We've used Fusion for training, day care, boarding, and grooming and we've never had a bad experience. Fusion always does their best to accommodate last minute requests and they're very responsive via text and phone.

Tonite we had our first training class for Hank (my dog). It was so good. Hank was scared at first but the room was large and each person had an area to themselves to work with their dog. Tonite we learned wait, sit, lay down, and we learned how to use the mat. It was really interesting and very clear. We got an email after class recapping all of the work and giving us homework. I can see where this will be very beneficial to Hank and I. Hank is a rescue that we've had for a few short weeks and we love him so much. This will help us build good habits and help keep Hank safe and healthy.

This place is pretty new and really huge. Not only do they board dogs and cats, but bunnies and other small mammals. The space is bright, clean, and fresh. The staff offer grooming services, obedience training, and canine spa services like massages. The front desk area houses a retail area with foods, treats, toys. We board our dogs here and my only complaint is I wish they had a webcam so I could check in on my poochies. The boarding rooms are generous and dogs from the same family can room together. The cat play area is used for one cat at a time, unless they are family, to avoid fights. The outdoor and indoor dog play areas are spacious and no more than 10 dogs are in the play area at once, to avoid overcrowding and fighting. Dogs are rested after a half hour of play, perfect for dogs that really wear themselves out in playtime. My mini doxie has epilepsy and I like knowing a vet tech administers his medication. They are very thorough when ensuring they know your exact feeding instructions, meds, and any other personal requests to make your pets feel at home.

I haven't really been a fan of taking my 2-year old Morkie to boarding facilities with family right down the street. And the same with day care. When there was a scheduling conflict for Thanksgiving, I had to find a place to board Benji. The reviews weren't the best, but I had to find out for myself. I took a tour of the facility and was able to see how it all worked before bringing Benji here. I was impressed. They went over how they structure your dog's day. I did find it odd that the dogs didn't run around all day like I had experienced with previous doggie day cares. You can pay ($5/day) for report cards and they send you pictures and an update of how your pet is doing. Benji LOVES it here. We have boarded him 5 times since Thanksgiving and have taken him to day care a few times. When we will into the parking lot, he is so excited to go in. Not to mention, the staff remember him and he goes running right up to them. A big thing to consider when looking for a place to board your dog is how they treat the animals. Benji and other dogs are treated as if the staff are their owners. They give them love and attention. I'm happy I found this place for my pup. I would highly recommend Fusion!

Our trainer recommended them because the staff here are all very knowledgeable about dog behavior and best practices for managing dog behavior.

I really appreciate that this is a family-owned small business and not a large chain like a number of the other local doggy daycare/boarding facilities. They get to know all of the pups super well. They are really "blossomed" the past year and a half in terms of offering tons of fun theme days where you can get photos of your dog dressed up and participating in activities (bunny ear photos and Easter egg hunt for Easter!) They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. The ability to be able to have Nora get groomed, nails clipped, and her anal glands expressed all during a regular day at daycare is amazing and so convenient. When we moved just over a year ago, we literally made sure to keep in mind the distance between us and Wag 'n Woofs because bringing her elsewhere was not an option. Thanks so much for all your team does!

It's fun to see all the pups play throughout the day. The camera is also how I know my dog likes some workers more than others and when he is (or is not) having a good time. With any doggy daycare sickness tends to travel around and my dog has fallen sick from daycare before. Something to be aware of. Overall a good daycare for your pet.

They don't do clicker training (as is touted on their website). The bootcamp consists of a lot of time in a crate. Our trainer was incredibly kind but often she was visibly stressed out and exhausted. Despite doing our assigned homework, our dog really never connected with the training. Each week is supposed to teach a new set of skills, before "dog walking week" even started, our trainer suggested we use a prong collar. I know many people use negative reinforcement in training, and that is their choice, but the whole reason we chose The Canine Coach is that their website repeatedly states they only use positive reinforcement. At the end of the 4 weeks, our dog hadn't really mastered any of the "12 reliable behaviors" that he didn't already know. Lastly, the additional in-home training was absolutely beyond unprofessional. The trainer showed up and was--for lack of better description--uninvested. When we asked for suggestions regarding our dog getting excited about squirrels during walks, his first and only suggestions were to use a prong collar or shock collar. He didn't ask what we had tried or anything, he just immediately went for "shock collar" because that's what he uses for his dog. Again, I understand that some people choose to use a shock collar or prong collar, but we deliberately chose The Canine Coach because they allegedly only use positive reinforcement. The trainer then half-heartedly did some recall practice before checking his phone repeatedly and then cutting our session short by 20 minutes. We haven't booked our second in-home training session. tl;dr No clicker training. Repeated suggested use of negative reinforcement. Sessions cut short. Dog didn't learn anything new.

This was my first puppy class experience but my husband's fourth (all different dogs), and the lessons and practices were very clear and consistent with the positive reinforcement methods my husband has used and seen used over the years. The format was interesting in that different dogs were at different stages due to the open enrollment nature of the class, but ultimately I don't feel that impacted the quality of the course, or added anymore distraction then your typical puppy course. The lessons were still communicated clearly and practiced in class with the expectation that the real training occurs out of the class through daily practice and routine. Overall once again we were very happy with the course and have already talked about if post-kindergarten training is needed, or even at-home 1-on-1 lessons we will be contacting Ali.

When asked what level of training she had her response was that her friend and boss Heather trained her. But because she talked a good talk I decided to give it a try. After all I was already in for over $100 for her to come and visit. My dog has serious separation anxiety and so Heidi said that she could help. A JOKE. She was playing kennel games with her. My dog has no issues with being in her kennel. But I went along with her suggestions. The last session I had with Heidi had me hiding food/treats around my house. My dog is a resource guarding kind of dog. She doesn't like it when my cat even comes near her dish This caused huge issue between the cat and the dog. Hiding treats around the house had my dog agitated with the cat coming anywhere near where treats had been hidden. Worse came to worse! These women have also been instrumental in taking my dog to a rescue that refuses to return my dog to me. Long story short....STAY AWAY AND STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Bad News and a total waste of money at the very least. I'm still fighting to get my ESA returned to me.
