I made an appointment for 9:30am and Ray was the salesperson who reached out to me. He had the car ready for me to I drive but I had to fill out a lot of paperwork first which was fine because I was very serious about buying THAT car on THAT day and I was approved for the purchase. We took it for a test drive and I liked it but after driving it when we went inside to do the final deal I told Ray I was not feeling excited about that particular car. I asked if they had any other of the same make, model and year. He said he would check and came back with the keys to four others. I found one that I really LOVED and we took it for a test drive and I bought it. Ray was great to work with, really calm and kind. I had a GREAT car-buying experience at Leith Nissan.

Due to the amount of time it was going to take, she placed me into a loaner and sent me on my way. Communication with the dealer and Nissan USA was excellent. My car had lots of updates and fingers crossed that all is well. I'm a diehard Lexus guy, but this experience left me with a great feeling that Nissan is truly wanting to do the right thing. Kudos to Leith Nissan for hiring and retaining such fine people as Wendy C. Keep up the great work folks!

I have to agree with the ownership and sales being courteous, respectful and professional…read more I went looking for a specific vehicle or two, and truth be told the pictures on the internet, while of those cars, really did not indicate the damage that was on those cars. The pics looked good. The cars, in person, not so much. Of the three cars I looked at, the first smelled so badly of cigarette smoke my bride & I could not stay in it for much more than about 20 seconds before we decided we couldn't take it anymore. In addition, the scrapes in the paint, while seemingly minor, and chewed up rims indicated a car that had been abused by the previous owner. The second vehicle was stored elsewhere and a runner had to go and get it - that took awhile. When we got in to test drive it, there was trash in it on the passenger side (empty soda bottles). The ragtop would not retract and the top of the dash was in pretty sad shape. Driving it, more than appearance, I now knew why it was not moving, at least not moving to my own driveway - the clutch needed to be tightened up - it was clunking every time I pushed the clutch in on the car. The third car was just to see what it was like. I wasn't really that interested in it. The rear bumper looked like it had been detached from the body at some point where the trim came around to the wheel well, and wasn't reattached very well, and the paint job looked like a cheap maaco quick job. All of the cars we looked at could have used a good detailing before we ever looked at them, just to make them more presentable and/or desireable. None of them were clean, and the smoke smell from the first car stayed with me so long I was assuming each of the cars was smelling like smoke until my bride corrected me. No pressure to buy here, the sales staff is not on commission. Either you like what you see or you don't and make your decisions from there. Since I didn't like wahat I saw, I didn't buy, doesn't mean I won't be back to look and potentially to buy. Again, staff is indeed courteous and personable.

Very disappointing experience with Cary Auto Sales. I would not recommend this dealership based on…read moremy experience. I purchased a 2014 Toyota Avalon Limited from Cary Auto Sales and paid cash for the vehicle in full. Unfortunately, the same day I took the vehicle home, the tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning began flashing and malfunctioning. Because it was Sunday, I had the vehicle checked by a mechanic. The mechanic determined that the problem was a defective TPMS sensor in the right-rear tire. What concerns me even more is that the vehicle's diagnostic history showed that the TPMS warning/monitoring system had previously been reset. I have no way of knowing who reset it or why it was reset. However, because the TPMS problem appeared immediately after I purchased the vehicle, the mechanic questioned whether the system may have been reset before the sale to temporarily clear the warning. I want to be clear that I cannot independently confirm who performed the reset, but the circumstances are certainly concerning. I contacted Cary Auto Sales on Monday, only two days after purchasing the vehicle, and spoke directly with Peter, the gentleman who sold me the car. I explained the problem, provided the information from the mechanic, and attempted to give Cary Auto Sales an opportunity to resolve the issue through their service department. Peter declined to provide any service and refused to replace the defective TPMS sensor. This was extremely disappointing. The problem occurred the very same day I purchased the vehicle, and I contacted the dealership almost immediately after having it professionally diagnosed. I made a genuine effort to resolve the matter directly with Cary Auto Sales before writing this review. They refused to help. I paid cash for this vehicle and expected reasonable customer service when an obvious problem surfaced immediately after the sale. Instead, once the sale was completed, I was essentially left to deal with the problem myself. I cannot say who reset the TPMS system, and I don't want to make an accusation I cannot prove. However, the fact that the system had a history of being reset, followed by a TPMS failure immediately after purchase, is concerning--especially given the mechanic's suspicion about why it may have been reset. I attempted to remedy this situation directly with Cary Auto Sales. They refused. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cary Auto Sales. Anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership should have a complete independent inspection and diagnostic scan performed before paying for the vehicle, including checking the TPMS system and looking for evidence of previously cleared warning codes. My biggest disappointment isn't simply that the sensor failed. It's how Cary Auto Sales responded when I brought the problem to their attention just two days after purchasing the vehicle.

Since I drove 2/1/2 hours to see the car I didn't know a local mechanic. Before the trip Jose assured me nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I trailered the car home the first night the car alarm was triggered multiple times. I took the car to a Land Rover mechanic the next morning. He said the car should have never passed inspection. He found the rear door latch was bad, someone wedged a piece of metal in the hood latch to keep that sensor from tripping. The vehicle had been wrecked and not reported and the front sensor was damaged. So far I am out of pocket $1,300.00 in 48 hours. Beware Jose only cares about a sale and does not stand by his product. Z-Auto is also at fault for a fraudulent NC inspection.

I took it on a long trip to NY with absolutely no issues. The car was in incredibly good shape inside and out for a late model. I mean, any car can be a lemon or have problems after a sale/purchase (especially late models) but I really think TMS tries hard to source from quality local dealer trade-ins (not auctions). Nothing is guaranteed but we both got lucky with this specific car. Given the pre-owned car market the price was firm but very fair and no "extra" BS charges. The price I was quoted was the price I paid the day I came to pick it up. Overall great experience.
