I had a check engine light come on, I made an appointment via phone. On dialing, you're forced to talk to a robot/phone tree that ultimately couldn't complete the booking and routed me to the front desk. Generally unhelpful experience with the front desk throughout this experience. I finally get routed back to the Service Department and am assisted by Matt Davis. He confirms my appointment and takes the time to explain what situation would warrant a rental car and assures me there will be transportation arranged to get me to work. I show for my appointment the next morning, Matt checks me in, gets my vehicle in line, and arranges an Uber through a ride share program (incredibly helpful!), and gives me a timeline for when I'll hear back about my vehicle. Around 3pm, I receive an email from my technician walking through why my car through the code and how they remedied. I picked my car up at the end of the day and Matt had run my vehicle through the car wash. Overall great experience and it's a relief to have a place and people I know I can trust to bring my car in a time of need. read more

Not only was I lied to about the availability of a vehicle, they sold the vehicle I had agreed to come and see/purchase one day later, because the salesman, "Raheen" did not inform them he had a buying customer. When asked, his response was essentially "not my problem". Lack of professionalism, lack of care from a dealership that apparently prides itself on communication and fairness. I have records of this agreement, photos, documented plans. These guys not only bombard you with texts from an AI bot, they don't hold their word, and they are not deserving of any business. My name will never be associated with Hendrick, nor any of my family/friends after they hear this. Lack of professionalism in an industry that so often falls short. Going to try and make a long story short. 2 years ago my truck stopped working and was told if I service every 50k miles truck would be fine also a lot cheaper then letting it break and replacing parts. 3 weeks ago I brought my truck for that service and they told me that it doesn't exist and 3 weeks later truck blows up again same issue as the first time. They helped in no way cost of repairs, rental, etc.. So now again out $4,000 in repairs and to top it off when I picked my truck up after they had it for a week and a half my ac no longer works as it did when I dropped it off and they said that full blast on ac and air barely coming out of the vents is right. The was the FIRST time. Well we stayed on that bridge in traffic for 2 hours waiting on Hendrick Autogard truck to get to us. They didn't dispatch a tow truck. So we were still stuck but I insisted he jump it and thankfully that worked it started. Now that was the 1st time mind you there more. I took back to Hendrick Service center. They insisted the battery was not the issue. Kept it 4 days just to tell me that. Thanks, alot. So I had several incidents after that. I'd call the Service Center... Typical response... "So, you got a jump, and it worked. So, it's not the battery" . I would call the manager and the guy who sold it to me and get " I'm not in right now but as soon as I am I will get on it". Finally, I took it to Crossroad Ford. Changed out the battery no issues since. Hardrick Service was not there for me at all. Oh there other issues as well.... As if the Service after sale was bad enough, the punch list you get when you buy a car, you know, the things they promise to fix. !00% not done. Who do you call? Noone returns calls and there was 0 concern on their end. No 2nd Key, paint touch up promised not delivered. Steam the seats not done. So I don't expect anything to come from this but just be careful when you deal with these guys. These are the guys are that give car salesmen a bad name. They all act like your best friend and they are doing you a favor, all the while they are stealing your car from you and lying through their teeth. They tried to steal money from me by offering me a car warranty and dropping the price twice by over $1k. All markup. Trying to sell me a wheel and tire warrant for almost $2k! Seriously? I can get a tire warranty through Discount Tire for like $40 a tire! But the real kicker is that they acted like my best friends when I went to order my 2nd Corvette from them. All buddy buddy. Never called me to give me an update until they got an allocation and then when the car came in. Months and months of waiting with no updates. Then when the car came in, they offered me $13k less than my 2017 Corvette is worth. I told them that they weren't going to steal my car from me and proceeded to give me BS lines about they had to put new tires on it and would only be able to make a few thousand off the deal. I ordered my Vette so I had to pay full msrp; so no negotiation available there. Only profit. So of course they convinced me that they were good guys, on my side, gave me a price and couldn't do any better. I trusted that was true and was just ready to finish the deal. I purchased the car and left. Now I just saw the car listed for $11k more than the they gave me for trade!!! I even had it detailed for them hours before I traded it. all they did was put a set of tires on it and stick it on the lot. What all this comes down to is that they are just like most dealerships out there... thieves. They lie and act like your best friend and steal from you. Over and over again. They claim that they have to make money to stay in business and it's never their fault. It's always the customers', claiming "no one forced them to sign the papers" and they knew what they were getting themselves into". I worked with Milos, Nick, and their Finance Director. They were my best friends the whole while they were stealing money out of my pocket. Just wanted to warn everyone. Didn't hear anything for two full days after my appointment and then called and was told they couldn't find my car. Unbelievable. No call. Apparently no eyes either. This put the repair past the weekend, I was assured by the service manager they would get on it first thing Monday. Called Wednesday morning to find out they had finally diagnosed the problem - over $500 to check a coolant level, pressurize the cooling system, and flash new software. Probably a solid hour of effort. Service manager was apologetic and said he would send me a quote to do some recommended service. You guessed it, nothing. I called again to close out this debacle that evening. They kept my car for almost a full week to do an hour of work, never called, offered no compensation for anything. Terrible. read more

What a nightmare of a dealership. November of 2021 I put a $1,000 deposit on a Corvette. May of 2022 - They call me and say if I get a specific performance package, I could get my Corvette faster (about 2 months). Early July - I get another call from the dealership about how the 2022 Corvette order has to replaced with a 2023. I ask them about the specific performance package and they stated I did t have to have it on the 2023 so I ordered a basic 2023 Corvette which they were not happy about because I assume they are not making as much money on a base model vs a loaded Corvette. July of 2022 - I go into the dealership to look at a Cheverolet Trax for my busines because it was on a their website. Couldn't find the car and I left without buying the Trax. Next day I sold my Corvette because I was told my new Corvette will be ready for purchase In a couple of months. Few days later they call me and tell me they are canceling my order. Almost a week later, I don't have my deposit back and I no longer own my 1998 Corvette with 39,000 miles on it nor a new Corvette on the way Stay away from these crooks. When I complained and asked to speak to a manager, he became angry. Refused to get a manager. Yelled at me about my "attitude". When another advisor stepped in, he dismissed me. shoving my keys and paper work across the tabel, "Get this man away from me!", he huffed. I was afraid. Physically. I find it funny how when this dealership suspects you may be interested in purchasing a vehicle they won't leave you alone. However when you are trying to get a refund from them, no one will help you or call you back. I purchased a car in 2016 from Josh Herzog, and he was great, definitely recommend working with him. I paid my vehicle off early in May of this year. My bank told me to contact the dealership about getting a refund on my Gap Coverage. In June I spoke with Bryan Johnson and he sent me the paperwork and I emailed it back to him. I followed up with him in July via email and never got a response. I called in August and someone on the phone said it was still in process. I called two weeks ago, no one seemed to know how to help me and I got transferred several times. Finally spoke with a man who seemed very confused and said I had to call my bank the dealership no longer processes these. I told him my bank told me to contact the dealership and I was told in June and again in August they were working on it. He took my phone number and said he would look into it and get back to me. It has been two weeks since then and almost six months since I sent the paperwork in. All of this runaround for a $54 refund. If I owed them $54 I'm sure they would be calling me everyday. read more

Bought 2022 Traverse also purchased extended warrenty at time of purchase for an additional $4100.00 Traverse came with manufacturer warrenty 3 years or 36 months. Paid off unit at that time I cancelled extended warrenty and was informed I would receive refund of extended warrenty.The vehicle was still covered under original manufacturer warrenty. aNow I am being told only $600.00 would be refunded because car had 19,000 miles (still under original warranty ) and that mileage would be applied against extended warranty. I would think when purchasing extended warranty you would think it would start at end of manufacture warrenty and not from day one. (Buyer be ware). Did you notice they will not give you any paperwork with any sales or service provided unless you push them for it. read more

We exchanged emails all day today and we made plans with our jobs to come tomorrow to complete the purchase and she tells me at 6:53pm it has sold. Hendrick Chevrolet's says: "At Hendrick Chevrolet, we take pride in our commitment to 100% customer satisfaction during and after the sale." This is NOT true. We bought an electric car from them in August and 6 weeks later find out it's been recalled for fires. Earlier versions of this car had been recalled for the same reason but Hendrick told us specifically that that flaw had been fixed. So we believed them and bought a lemon. A car we could not put in our garage or charge in our garage. A car we needed to park away from other cars due to it's potential to ignite. Hendrick would not take the car back. And they knew nothing about installing software to protect us and did not attempt to find out anything about this. They just stopped caring once they got our check for the car. Awful service. We are now going to Raleigh Chevrolet to get software installed that will alert us if our car is overheating so we can protect our home and finally get to park it in our garage after 5 months of worry and fear. Eventually GM will inspect our battery and replace it if it has the flaw that causes fires. Hendrick Chevrolet does not care about you. Don't bother going there. read more

Horrible experience and take these reviews with a grain of salt because they tried to bribe me with a free tank of gas for a good one. Back in July 2022, I ordered a vehicle directly from the manufacturer that they then refused to sell me citing an agreement to provide a used vehicle as a trade in. Despite being asked many times, they could never produce this agreement. After arguing with them, calling other dealerships in the area to find out if this is standard practice (its not), and calling the GM - they eventually came up with an offer that was still $2,000 over the original price. While I expressed my frustration I was shamed for being angry, told not to contact the GM anymore as they would withdrawal their offer, and in the end bribed with a cooler. They discriminate against women as I was patronized for being angry and spoken over many times. This was supposed to be a quick process of just signing the paperwork and instead it turned in to hours of stress and distrust of Hendrick dealerships. About a month later, I filed a complaint with Chevrolet and Hendrick. Chevy states they can't do anything because each dealership is independently owned and Hendrick has still ignored me to this day. It's clear both companies don't value a loyal customer, women, or veteran families. I will never step foot back in to this dealership again and I suggest you do the same. read more

I'm not sure what's going on in the car dealer world but it seems to me that people are getting more and more incompetent. It's as if Covid broke something. This is a fine example. I called about a car that their website said was in transit. They connected sales person slurred his speech, which was weird but OK he said the car was in stock. He said I can definitely reserve it and he would write up a deal. Next thing I know I get a call from his sales manager to talk over the deal but now the sales manager wanted to sell me a completely different car not the one I discussed with the sales guy over. More over he told me that everyone of their new cars have to have their Hendrix dealer installed options. You could opt out of them they were mandatory.. the cost of these options are $3287... which include window tint, nitrogen in your tires, floor mats, and LoJack... for $3000. They should just add to their price when they list it on the Internet. Not to mention not one of these options is worth that kind of money even combined maybe they're worth $500 maybe. This is obviously a dishonest enterprise and I would recommend no one shop there for a car. read more

Weird experience I ordered a C8 corvette in August of 2019. Delays happened blah blah, received the car in ~August of 2020. Between the day I ordered the car, and the day I received it, I purchased something else to tide me over. When my C8 arrived at Hendrick, the vehicle was paid for promptly, with my own lender. All documentation needed on my end was supplied as requested, and I did everything I could to make the purchase easy given that I'm across the country. I do want to make the point that up until this point in time Hendrick was great to work with, communication was as good as you can expect from a large franchise store, sales rep was friendly and helpful, transactions were handled in a timely manner etc. Virtually no complaints until today. Wound up enjoying the other car that I purchased more than the C8, so opted to keep that and sell the C8. Bear in mind this is a vehicle I purchased, paid for, and own. I received a phone call today from my sales rep, who I'm not going to name drop because he was awesome through the whole process until now, asking me why the vehicle was registered in someone else's name. I informed him that I had sold **my** car, to which I was met with audible disappointment. Not really sure where that came from given that I purchased and paid for the car, he made a commission, and the dealership made a profit but whatever. Asked said sales rep about putting a deposit down on the new Z06, to which I was met with "I'm not really interested in selling you another car given that you sold this one so quickly." Told me he'd "ask someone" about the Z06 waiting list, but something tells me I'm not getting a call back. It's not really a dealership's business to decide what the end user does with their product. I didn't export the car, which is the only thing the end user is prohibited to do, I simply didn't enjoy it as much as my current car, and decided to sell it. I spent 80XXX with Hendrick this year, and I'm glad to spend 1xxxxx when the Z06 releases, but it seems that they're not interested :( read more

Absolutely the worst dealership experience I have ever had. Found a truck online listed for $33,066. Came into the dealership to test drive and to look at the pricing options. Salesman brought back the first offer at $38,500. I questioned the increase and he said it was for dealer add accessories that they don't include in the price online. When I told them I wasn't interested in the truck at that price they tried to push me into leasing the truck which was far from what I wanted. They continued to push and brought the sales manager in to try and convince me why it was a better idea. I drove to Wilmington and bought from Jeff Gordon Chevy and had a much better experience. She even let us watch the UNC football game on her computer while we waited on finance. My fiancé and I noticed some scrapes on the vehicle after we purchased it and she was quick to tell us she would have them buffed out when it worked for me in the near future. :-) (And she came through!) After some back and forth we made an appointment for the same evening. We get out there and ask for sales contact Amanda only to be told there is no Amanda.
