They even scan your vehicle as you pull in and can read things like tire tread life. My advisor was personable and they arranged a shuttle home, so the experience started off strong. Unfortunately the communication quickly fell apart. I brought my new truck in Friday at 8:15am for several warranty concerns. Around 1pm I texted my advisor for a status update since he said he should have one around lunch. I also explained that if the truck needed to stay overnight I would need to arrange alternate transportation. He replied that the tech had the truck and he would confirm the status. Never once saying he was not going to be working the weekend. After that, I received no response despite multiple follow ups that afternoon. When I called Saturday morning I was told that because my advisor was not working that day, no one could provide an update because advisors do not share notes or account access. I was also told the truck was not being worked on since that team was off. Because of this I had to rush to get a rental car out of pocket. When I later asked about reimbursement, I was told it would not be covered because I did not rent a GMC vehicle. When I picked up the truck the problems continued. Tools were left in my vehicle, part of my console was still in the floorboard, and my charging ports were no longer working. I had to return again to have those fixed. I was also told a noise I reported was "just road noise." But I had noticed my truck was not even driven a mile to observe the issue. After continuing to hear it, I took the truck to another GMC service center. They quickly diagnosed the real issue. The rear differential bearings are failing and need to be replaced. Their technician told me that any mechanic who had actually driven the truck would have noticed the sound immediately. The scheduling and intake experience were great, but the lack of communication and the service follow through were extremely disappointing. I will gladly drive an additional 20 mins to my second dealership I went it.

The car was bought from a small dealer so I asked him to be honest with me about any issues. They didn't call me for a few days and when they did I was promised the work on major recalls(software update and knock sensor replacement) and they offered $2400 worth of optional engine related servicing. After I asked to work only on recalls and one of the repairs(worth $700), they sounded uninterested. They called a day later saying they finished the work and the car should be okay if I get the fuel injectors cleaned up. I had AAA two this to my regular mechanic. A few days later I drive this car and the engine light goes ON. So I called the service, asked for Chris. He then confesses that the recall work for knock sensor replacement was not done as promised. He claimed it was due to warranty. I had to spend another $500 at my mechanic to get that replaced. This left a bad taste. We later decided to trade in that car for a different brand.

    I am writing this review about a month after I bought my 08 BMW 335i here. I couldn't be happier…read morewith my purchase. I came here already seeing my car online at TrueCar, went to get the keys to look at it and let me test drive. After I came back from test driving, the staff handed me a CarFax, I asked if I could take it to a mechanic to be seen, and they were happy to let me do this. I took it to a reputable euro car specialist and the mechanic looked at it for about an hour and told me he couldn't find anything wrong with it. The car was very clean underneath and inside the engine bay. The only thing the mechanic said looked weird was the back two tires were different tires and needed to be replaced. When I took that back to RDU Auto Sales, the staff offered to replace them or take some off of the price which you don't see too often from used car dealerships. After seeing that the car was in great condition, I decided to buy it, before hand I received no pressure to buy the car or look at any other ones. RDU Auto Sales let me control the whole process and only aided me when I asked. The paper work was minimal, it took less than 30 minutes and everything was explained completely before I signed. Out the door they give you a one month warranty for free, with the option to purchase an extended warranty. I would recommend this dealer to any and all who are skeptical of used car dealerships. I know I was unsure before coming here, but I will recommend this one to any of my friends who are looking to buy a high performance or luxury car.
