Chicken tortilla soup. I would lick the bowl if my face fit!

I have never left a review on the spot. This place has the BEST chicken tortilla soup I have ever had in my life!! Our server Maria was so friendly and super nice! The michi wasn't half bad and the salsa was nice and spicy! Definitely coming back for more of the soup! Trying the posole next!!

I have mixed feelings about this place having been my fist time here and being hungry the menu looked intriguing. The portions where big abut the food was bland I ordered the 3 meat fajitas shrimp, chicken and Asada my dish tasted like just onion and spice since they used lots of white white and purple onions, not a fan of the flavor of purple onion. The asada meat in the fajita was tender, chicken was dry and the shrimp tasted good but the over baring tasted of onion was just to much. I ordered their 3 taco appetizer just to try different meats. I did like their shrimp taco and the chipotle chicken taco wasn't to bad their Asada taco was once again bland but the meat was tender. I pretty much had to add pepper and salt to it. Wife enjoyed her huge flour tostada bowl. Everyone there seemed to be ordering the flour tostada bowls. Will give this place another shot when we go to the casino but will order something different.

View from our table... the food looked so good I didn't have time to take a picture of it..

Noodle bar is our go to. We drive 45min to eat at noodle bar or vintage. Noodle bar had a 1hr 45min wait. Which seemed odd because the casino wasn't packed. We put in our name to wait but walked over to casa de Fuego to see how long the wait was. There was no wait so we decided to just go for it. Casa de fuego is where the buffet used to be. It also is a non smoking gaming part of the casino, Beautiful view. I'll start off saying our waiter Jacob was great. The chips and salsa and drinks came out immediately. Chips are light salsa ehh decent but not "in house", I'd say. We ordered the carne asada fries. Honestly the highlight of the meal. Not the prettiest dish but tasted good. My wife got the chicken tostada salad. She said the chicken was good but salad was smelled weird. I also ordered the combo fajitas. Beautiful dish, They were good but bland. When I started squeezing lemon on them it was exactly what they were lacking. we got a text by the time we were finished or seats at noodle bar were ready. Honestly I wish I would have waited. Noodle bar is hard to beat. If I had to pick between casa de fuego or the old buffet they had I'd choose the buffet. Just my 2cents.

We said no and placed our order The agua fresas are not authentic and are tasted like powder mix. Chicken flautas are very dry and came with some old avocado on the side. Chicken mole was delicious- the chicken was very tender. My fish tacos were excellent and packed with flavor. The server asked if I wanted to upgrade to flour tortillas but didn't tell me how much it was. After we ate, the guy helping us said "ready for the check?". I was disappointed that he didn't ask us if we wanted dessert. We paid and left. Shortly after, I thought "why was my total before tax and tip $86 instead of $71??". Idk how much the up charge for flour tortillas was, but it definitely couldn't have been $15, and if it is, shame on them (after all they charge you for chips and salsa, and double the charge if it's to-go). No clue if they added someone's drink to my total but very annoying. This is the first time I've ever been over charged. Everything here in general is overpriced unfortunately.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!

Parking is exactly what you'd expect for downtown, so just make sure you lock your car and don't leave anything visible. We went around 5 PM on a Thursday. It started fairly quiet and gradually got busier throughout the evening, but it never felt overcrowded. They do have a rule that if there's a waitlist, your time may be limited to about two hours so they can seat other guests, which is reasonable for a place like this. The drinks were fantastic. I honestly didn't have a bad drink all night. They offer cold drinks, room temperature drinks, hot drinks, and just about every type of spirit you can think of. The cocktails are very creative, and the bartenders will actually warn you ahead of time if a drink has flavors they think you might not like, which I appreciated. The bartenders were excellent and really knew what they were doing. We had a spicy margarita, mojito, whiskey smash, an ube cocktail, and a few others, and all of them were great. Prices were fair for the quality, creativity, and overall experience. Not cheap, but definitely not overpriced either. One thing I really respected was that they had Narcan and fentanyl test strips available on-site. You don't see that often, and it shows they actually care about people's safety. If you're looking for craft cocktails in Fresno, this place is definitely worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back.

This was by far the best brewery experience I've ever had, and it's all thanks to the hospitality…read moreof the owner, Oscar. We came in on a Saturday afternoon after the river and were instantly welcomed by Oscar and his wife. The brewery has a wide selection of beers, all brewed by Oscar himself, and he was kind enough to let us sample whatever we wanted. Every beer we tried was excellent. We hung out for a while chatting with him, and even asked if he knew of a place to watch an English Premier League game the next day. The closest was in Fresno--until Oscar went above and beyond. He told us not to worry, that he would open the brewery just for us on Sunday, even though he's usually closed! The next day we showed up, and Oscar not only opened the doors but let us use our camping stove outside to make tacos. We all enjoyed them together--Oscar included! We expected to stay for about two hours but ended up staying close to five because we were having such a blast. Oscar gave us a tour of the brewery, made us feel like family in his home, gifted us a round on him, and even let us put on some music where we sang at the top of our lungs. I know this is a long review, but it's for a reason. Most breweries can feel impersonal--serve the beer and move on to the next customer. Shuteye Brewery is different. Oscar connects with people and shows, through his actions, that he truly cares about making sure you have a beautiful experience. On top of that, he's dedicated to his community, constantly doing outreach projects to give back. Simply put, the beer is great, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner is amazing. This place is a gem, and I'll be making it a must-stop every time I'm in the area.
