Damn the food is so good here! they cook everything in beef talo which gives it that extra delicious flavor. I love that they always have specials so I can try new stuff. The vibe is always so good. The bartenders are hilarious. As a single woman it's awesome having a local bar I can walk into alone and have a rad time every time. Highly recommend getting there for sunset drinks on the deck. Strange place as our tour guide recommended so we gave it a shot. Big mistake. Walked in and there was a line at the bar to order food. It was line dance night so not sure how that impacted things. It's more of a bar than a restaurant. If that's what you want than go for it. After standing in line for 10 minutes it was obvious they were understaffed and couldn't care less. The Snowline Saloon was a truly unique experience. As soon as my Shinty mates and I entered the bar sporting our 'Charlie Brown' jumpers, the staff and patrons gave us a warm Oakhurst welcome. Everyone was having a good time listening and dancing to Bar Jay Bar who loved playing for the crowd so much so that they played on each others shoulders. Gleaming!! On top of that there was piñata for Camile's (one of the waitresses) birthday. Came up here with my baby and our puppy to hike Yosemite .... this little saloon was a pleasant surprise. Piper was super awesome, we felt "at home". The vegan burger was the best we've had in a long long time - the cook came out and asked us exactly how we wanted it then gave us that + 40% better....we can't even make them at home that good (we tried). They even let our sweet little leeloo run free ... unless you're a health inspector then "no dogs allowed" - duh. read more

OMGEEEEE stopped here after a few days hiking in Yosemite and now I know why they had a 5 star review! The pulled pork sandwich, pickle chips & BBQ hamburger were spectacular! But the star of the show we're the onion rings! The bartender Danielle was amazing and the other local guests were friendly & just lovely people! Went there to check out a local band on a Thursday night. Servers were good, bartenders were good considering how busy they got. The band was great. The building in itself was nice. My one issue was one of the guys there. Not sure if he was the owner, or just a worker, but he was well over 6 ft, a big dude, easily over 220 pounds. In two separate occasions, he pushed my 5'2 friend as he was passing by, he forcibly pushed her out of his way when we were watching the band play. This man was triple her size. And then about half an hour later, he did the same to my husband. We never spoke a word to the guy, don't know what his problem was. read more

Have been coming to Oakhurst for 27 years and this place has always been closed. I am so happy it opened just 3 weeks ago. What an amazing atmosphere and the bartender/owner Piper is awesome. Fun locals bar with great bartenders. Live music on Saturdays. Amazing porch in the back over looking to a valley and trees and nature as for as you can see. Workers talk highly about the mom & daughter due that owns the place. They apparently done some good things in the community. I think I was the only one what was not a local in the place. Horrible and limited parking is worth the fun place inside and out. read more

My wife, sister and I went there for lunch today. We were greeted by the staff as soon as we walked in. He took our drink orders and we made our way to to beautiful deck. We were taking in the the view with all the fall colors and enjoying the weather. We were brought our drinks and put in our food orders. The jalapeño poppers and Mac and cheese balls were great. I had the special, a smoked turkey sandwich which was delicious. Overall it was a great experience. The establishment was well maintained. The paint and woodwork was an example of fine craftsmanship. Without a doubt the best in all of Oakhurst...actually one of the best I have had this year. Fresh ground beef, all the Fixin's and good and messy. The onion rings were sweet crispy and fresh. Cool off in the AC on the hot mountain days and enjoy the night sky from the patio at dusk. Location is also perfect, as it's a few minutes drive from Bass Lake, Coarsegold and Yosemite. Perfect spot and a MUST if you're traveling through town. It's also got a SWEET dance hall and live concert venue inside which makes for a fun time when on vacation or checking out some awesome well known talent that rolls through town. You might get lucky and see a famous act hiding out taking it back to their roots playing a low key bar setting. In summary, I'd highly recommend stopping in to grab a cold drink, bite to eat and relax. I've traveled the country by motorcycle checking out small Saloons and the snowline is at the very top of the list. read more

Not your average bar food. This place was fun, has beautiful views, and the food was amazing. It's an awesome surprise to have someone care so much about the quality of their food up here in the hills. There's just not a lot of great places to eat in Oakhurst. My hope is it is a wonderful surprise for more people and it becomes the place to be. I will be back for sure. read more
