JR Cigar is a cigar mecca destination offering top of the line cigar brand selections. My wife & I had a nice dinner in New Jersey. I wanted to swing by JR Cigar and buy some cigars before heading back to the burbs. The JR cigar selection has to be the most extensive offering I've ever seen. I grabbed a few of my go to cigars but I wanted to try something new based on their expert opinions. I walked to the counter with my cigars and I saw a few behind glass. I asked and was told these are our recommendations. I bought an AVO classic torpedo. Connecticut Shade wrapper with a slight taste of spice. Nice recommendation. If it was 2019, I would have went to the bar, lit up and had a drink. Now, its buy your cigar and split. I wish JR would come to Long Island!

Cigar selection is more stars but to have an open area for "drinks" with near zero service drains the experience. Either be in it or not. Around 12:15 pm on a weekday. Seating, Tables, TV and selection. Service please.

Probably one of the best stocked cigar lounges I have experienced..... If they didn't have something I was looking for they were able to suggest something comparable or greater !

The first time ever with skies took the stage at dingbatz October 8, 2023 they opened up for the medusa tour. It was a lot of fun

not having been here in a long time it hasn't changed ( that's a good thin) The only thing that's different is my son's band is now performing there from time to time. I think it's a great place for up-and-coming bands to perform and meet new people and other bands from all over. Michele, the promoter is great to work with. She made everything very easy. We had a lot of fun here. It's a great place that accepts all ages. And it's a place for anyone under 21 to go to who loves music.

My wife and her cousins from NYC.

I visited this place with my wife, and it is an extremely good place to have a good time with friends. I loved the atmosphere there, the treatment and service is 1A. I recommend this place if you want to have a quiet time and smoke a cigar. excellent!!

We ordered a few things. Spicy Tuna Tartare: wasn't spicy, didn't taste fresh which wasn't a deterrent to me as this isn't a seafood restaurant or fine dining. Next time I'd pass on that. Bavarian Pretzel: amazing. Very tasty. Came out nice and hot. That rarebit cheese sauce? Oh honey that can come home with me anytime. Absolutely delicious. And this is coming from someone who hates that fake cheese, cheese whiz type taste. Margherita Pizza: didn't come out hot which is probably why I wasn't a fan of it. It was pretty mediocre for such a basic pizza. And the food didn't come out all together, so not sure why that didn't come out hot. Wings and waffles: Tasty buffalo wings. The waffles actually taste like funnel cake which was a nice surprise. THEN. The burger came out and that is why this review dropped. It had a small hair on the side of the plate and a closer look at the rest of the plate, you'll see a long hair on the pickle. That was disappointing but happy to have tried the place nonetheless.

We truly wouldn't have changed a thing. Our guests raved about the food and drinks just as much as we did! Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself. When we returned to pick up our belongings, everything had been packed neatly and carefully, which was such a thoughtful touch. We toured several other restaurant venues while planning our wedding, and at one venue we were told the coordinator would help us plan but wouldn't actually be there on the wedding day. That didn't sit right with us. Having Vikki there throughout our entire celebration gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. Vikki and the entire Park West Loft team exceeded every expectation we had. From the planning process to the last moments of our wedding night, they made us feel genuinely cared for. For a couple who loves NYC and wanted to bring the vibe to NJ (where my husband grew up), the ambiance of PWL was everything we wanted. The exposed brick is beautiful and the space is so beautiful. I had the best customer service experience of my life working with the venue coordinator, Chris Ryter. We could not have had the day we did without him. Chris took care of EVERYTHING for us from the actual day we met - things I would never have thought of. He made the entire process so seamless. Leading up to the wedding, I gave him a 5 page "master doc" with what we had envisioned in terms of decor/set up and the execution was flawless. The entire staff was checking on us the entire night if we needed anything - from a tide to go stick to a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and everyone had a blast at the bar. If you're nosy like me, these were the entree selections we chose: - Roasted Amish Chicken Breast with Mushroom Marsala and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes - Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Tomato, olive, onion & basil and Grilled Zucchini Squash - Baked Ziti basil, ricotta, mozzarella

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. Our server was polite and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the Korean fried chicken and tuna tataki. The chicken was moist and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. It was distracting, and I honestly wish they had just walked quickly instead of sprinting through the space. The bathrooms were also really tight and pretty filthy, which didn't help the overall feel. The food itself was fine, but everything tasted extremely salty. I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.
