We sat at the bar and the lady tenders were nice and attentive early on. The ambiance and decor is classy and traditional Iberian. Super Bock on tap is always a plus especially when ice cold like it was served. A Paella and a Monkfish dishes were ordered. And took no less than an hour to come out. Since we ordered no appetizers, it was and felt like forever. The major disappointment was no tender checking on us. Had I been asked if I wanted another Super Bock at anytime in the last half hour of waiting, I would have been able to ask that they check on my food. Not that I should remind anyone how to do their jobs. Then the minor disappointment. For all that wait, all the customers rolling in, all the nice atmosphere, the food was just good but not great. Without any unnecessary fanfare, they've been serving truly exceptional burgers to Newark locals and hungry visitors from across North Jersey, and there's no sign of slowing down. I stopped in one afternoon on the recommendation of a friend who works for the utility company and had spent more than a few lunch hours beneath Krug's dimly lit ceilings. Within a few bites, it was easy to understand why the place has earned such a devoted following. The Shrimp Scampi may sound like an unusual order off the bar menu, but don't overlook it. It's outstanding and deserves a place on the table no matter what else you're eating. Better yet, ask for the house "secret sauce"--a glorious combination of the scampi butter and Buffalo sauce that somehow works far better than it has any right to. So good. And they serve complimentary pickles and hot peppers on the side, which really sets it off. You literally don't even need fries with this burger -- it's more than enough. I ordered a whole one and could only eat half. My friend and I even said we should've just shared one! We started with the garlic fried shrimp scampi. The flavor was definitely there, though the shrimp were just a tad tough. I ordered a lemon berry Arnold Palmer, which didn't really impress me -- but I wasn't there for the drinks. I came for the burger, and I was more than satisfied. The prices were fair, and you get a small discount if you pay cash. They have their own parking lot behind the building (not the supermarket one), which is a big plus because parking in that area can be rough. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I loved how everyone helped each other instead of just one assigned server handling everything. TVs all around, music playing, people laughing and enjoying is what you'll find here! It's kid friendly so bring the fam with ya! I will definitely be back. Food: Good buffet with quality food and fresh salads Drink: Free drinks but I was in "work mode" the entire time. Opted for water, and the lounge has a nice bottle filling station too. Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathrooms: private bathrooms that are properly maintained and cleaned Showers: I didn't use the showers but the Polaris Lounge offers free showers By the way, I booked lie-flat seats on United going to London and on British Airways returning from London. United Polaris class crushes British Airways business class in comfort, ergonomics, service, and food quality in flight.

They do replenish the food quite often, though. I attempt to get a second drink about 45 minutes later, she's still texting away and this time another worker had to let her know someone was citing to be served. Ridiculous. This was a joke of an experience and between this and the sub-pa service from United staff-- I may not ever with United, again!
