While the staff are pleasant at Casa de Pets, the results have become inconsistent over the years my dog has been groomed. Once Brenda, the owner, completed her expansion to the current location and stopped being the groomer, quality and care has deteriorated. Today's grooming was as I would have expected with every visit, but I have found particularly in the last 2 years that we cannot depend on quality and often have to send her back to the groomer for a more complete cut. In addition, the price continues going up, without notice to steady customers like ourselves, and now in addition there is additional charge for credit cards which I imagine most people use. I have a particular complaint from this last visit, apart from the grooming itself. When I returned home I noted a bleeding wound on our dog's foot which was not even mentioned or pointed out. It does not appear to be inflicted by the groomer but a conscientious office would have alerted us rather than awaited our discovery. So now, next stop is the Vet. We will not be back. Updated 3/4/2019: We have been taking our poodle here for six months now and she always comes back looking great. The owner and staff have been doing a great job and I would recommend this location for all your pet care needs. Previous review October, 2018 Thankfully the owner contacted me when she returned and felt horrible about what happened. She offered to pay for our Vet visit. She was friendly and very upset with the situation one of the groomers who used to work there caused. Our poodle went back in last week and she was terrified on the way there but she was very well taken care of and calmed down after a few hours at home. She looked fantastic and hopefully she won't be as scared next time. Previous review, August ,2018 Please support me by boycotting this business. We took our 1 year old poodle in for a haircut and grooming and they shaved 2 of her nipples off.The groomer didn't report the injury. I found out because she wouldn't stop licking it. I saw it and it was infected so we took her to the vet where they found another cut nipple. We have been trying for two days to contact the groomer and owner but they won't return our phone calls. read more

Took my dog there for the first time and she looked great. However, they barely cut any hair off and as we are in summer and the temperature is only going to rise, I was disappointed for how little was done for the price I paid. I have taken my Great Pyrennes here for a while now. At first, they did a good job. After the second time, I realized that their results were inconsistent. One would do something one time such as shaving around her butt to prevent from getting dingleberries. I always ask for the same thing, a basic groom and trim. This last time I went and the work was sloppy and rushed. They didn't shave around her paw pads, didn't trim around her butt, didn't trim around her tail or anything. I was very disappointed. She came home not fully dried. On top of all of this, they never answer their phones!!! Every time I call no one picks up so I have to leave a voicemail and they don't get back to you until a couple of days. I will not be coming back. If you are going to rush a do a sloppy groom because you close at 3 PM on Friday then don't schedule an appointment for 2 pm. read more

I give bark and meow a 5/5 every time!! We bring our shepherd mix here for daycare and nail trims since May and we have never been disappointed. The staff will genuinely care about your dog for daycare or boarding or hygiene needs. Our pup gets SO excited to play with her friends. They also post pictures on their Facebook so you can see what your dog did throughout the day. read more

I wish I had found Bark & Meow years ago! After trying several different groomers, include one that injured my dog, I read the reviews for Bark & Meow and decided to try them. Not only did they work me in, Skye now has the BEST hair cut that she has had in a long time. She is clean and beautiful. They were so accommodating and pleasant. Bark and Meow took great care of our two dogs while we were gone on vacation. They also posted pictures online so that you could see when they were outside playing with the other dogs. Our dogs came home happy and tired by the end of their stay. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants their pups well cared for while on vacation. :) read more

Such a huge heart break. After having our Himlayan cat groomed by the owner Brenda she has totally ignored me for over two months. She and my cat have had an amazing and sweet relationship for years. I would stay and help while she groomed him. Just a brush out, shave belly and trim claws. She was wonderful and we miss her terribly. We are two months over due and my aging cat has had to suffer an uncofortable summer. All of this because my moms groomer was out of town so my mom took her dog into Casa De Pets and wasn't happy with a different groomers work. It had nothing to do with my and my pets relationship with Brenda the owner. However she has ignored me and will not even respond to my messages. I just told her how much we have appreciated her for so many years and truly need her. I even asked her to please let me know if she no longer wanted to groom my cat so I could try to find another groomer and she would not respond. She ignored every call, message completely. I've never experienced such unprofessionality. I'm shocked. She is the owner. I pleaded that our relationship is completely seperate from my moms one time experience. I honestly thought of her as a friend. The hardest part is that my cat has suffered all summer. She has let him suffer. Again, just shocked at how unresponsive and uncarring and unprofessianal an owner can be. Heart broken and let down. read more

Called Bark & Meow while we were in town visiting family because it was so hot for our St Bernard/Poodle mix that he needed a trim ASAP. They were super nice and able to schedule an appointment for us the next day, did a great job and he was nice and cool for the remainder of our trip Pricing was more than we usually pay in Denver, but thankful they were able to accommodate us on short notice. Brenda and Brian run an amazing facility! We left our two dog there (a great dane mix and a beagle mix) in their boarding facility for a week while we were on family vacation. I never once worried about them because I knew they were in great hands. The facility is clean, organized, and extremely dog friendly. Brenda and Brian are both very kind, loving and well trained. I was very excited to hear that a PROFESSIONAL TRAINER is there with the dogs. The dogs were both groomed and were smelling fresh and clean when we picked them up. Our poor pup was initially timid about going to Bark and Meow but within a few minutes of the groomer's reassuring presence, she was fine. They are friendly, patient and eager to please. Outside of taking them home and to my place of business, our dogs "hated" to go to the groomers. The cages were cramped with no water given them. Now, they get all excited when they know they are going to Bark and Meow. It is a very open place with a room to romp and frolic. Now if I could talk them into getting an in house vet, life would be perfect. read more
