From the beginning, there were problems. The staff struggled to place the IV before the procedure, and afterward I experienced severe, ongoing pain that made it impossible to sleep. I repeatedly called the office because I felt something was wrong, but I was told that the pain was normal and that I should continue flushing the area. After several weeks, I insisted on being seen. I wasn't evaluated by my doctor and was instead seen briefly by an assistant, who discovered that the area was infected and needed to be drained again. The pain eventually subsided, but the entire experience was excruciating. What concerned me most was that my repeated reports of severe pain were dismissed, and the office never followed up with me afterward. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice.

They were very open to my distress and had a conversation with said doctor. I had the appoitment for an extraction for a full month in advance and spent that time being very stressed out about pain, discomfort and having to buy a special soft diet. The doctor was then kind to me and assuring and the extraction was actually very easy; the recovery though was difficult. They did provide gauze but it was minimal and I went through 80 gauze pads with bleeding (I'm on blood thinners they were not worried about and perhaps that contributed). Having said that, I had no residual pain, no bruising or swelling. It all worked out in the end. The office staff was very accomodating. I would recommend this center.

They also offer a 10% discount for cash payments, which was very helpful financially. My procedure was in early December. I checked in at 8:30 AM for a 9:00 AM appointment. The team prepared me thoroughly, and I appreciated the guidance to wear comfortable clothes and a short-sleeve shirt. I was asleep during the procedure, and everything went smoothly with no pain. My older son picked me up around 11:30 AM and drove me home, as I wasn't allowed to drive afterward. I rested for the remainder of the day. What really stood out to me was the level of care that Dr. Bak personally called me later that afternoon to check on how I was doing and answered all my questions. He was incredibly patient and supportive. Anna was also amazing and went above and beyond in communicating with me throughout the entire process. In early February, I returned for a gum graft, and just this morning I had my final visit. Everything looks beautiful, and I can now continue treatment with my regular dentist. I wasn't expecting much, but Doctor Li discovered three cavities, two of which required quite extensive dental work. Doctor Li proceeded to take the necessary x-rays while walking me through his intended plan to repair these cavities. His experience and expertise in this field truly showed as he guided me through the procedures with excellent bedside manner to ease any of my concerns, questions, and worries. A couple days later, I came in to get my first ever filling done. My dental history involves a healthy amount of trauma ranging from extreme pain DURING wisdom teeth extraction as well as other instances of numbing agents not really doing their jobs. However, not only did I feel little to no pain during the filling, I left with a lot of my trauma alleviated. Doctor Li and his dental assistants did a great job calming me down and helping me stay relaxed and at ease throughout all of the dental work. I can say for certain that I am definitely coming back to Doctor Li for any further dental work and will gladly refer any and all of my friends who are looking for a dentist. Additional elements that I really appreciated about their business was their quick correspondence with my insurance as well as the abundance of parking. This doctor talked me into buying a tooth guard I didn't want and didn't need. He was insisting I grind my teeth. I was telling him I think I grinded my teeth in the past but I don't think I do it anymore. I don't know why I doubted myself. I should have seen the red flag when I asked him how much it is and he said "I don't know." When I finished my cleaning it was on the bill for $450 and I paid it, I can't explain why. I was stupid for doing that, I know. My wife confirmed when I got home that no, I do not grind my teeth any longer. Early the next morning I emailed to cancel. No one replied so I called later in the day and they said there might be a lab fee but the person who deals with the lab is out sick for the week. I called again today 1 week later and she said unfortunately they can't give me any refund. Letting people know I wouldn't trust this place. It is BS that the Dr. didn't know how much they are selling their products for. It is also BS that they "couldn't cancel because the person who does it is out sick." To top it off, this whole past week, no one from their office has called me or emailed back. I've had to be the one to call them each time.
