FIVE STARS! I've had more dental work done than most people. Wisdom teeth pulled, regular teeth pulled, deep cleanings, multiple root canals and root canal redos, braces, etc. etc. My dentist referred me to Dr. Aslanian to get a broken root canaled tooth pulled. The Dr. listened to my concerns and went over my medical history with me. He is easy going, a good listener and does fantastic work! My procedure was quick and pain free. They phoned in pain meds and antibiotics to my pharmacy and I couldn't have been happier. Front office staff and the surgical assistant were all very nice. I had a medical condition that required surgery, and the staff guided me through every step, including the financial aspect with my insurance, which was a huge relief. I got all four of my wisdom teeth extracted on Tuesday morning. I opted for the IV sedation because I get anxious and would prefer to sleep the entire hour while they extract all 4 teeth. I knocked out the entire way through and slowly woke up about a minute or two before they told me to wake up and that it was all done! The procedure itself is pain free. Dr. Aslanian is very nice and treats you like family. He is also very careful. He had consulted me about a month before about my current state of my teeth, and the options if I had them removed or not. My ortho required me to remove 1, but I ultimately chose to remove all four while I'm still young so that I'd never have to worry about them again! As I write this review, I'm on my 2nd day of recovery, and so far, so good! Just a bit of soreness here and there. Still some swelling, but that is normal. My bleeding after the surgery stopped about 7-9 hours later. Just remember to use ice packs the first 24-48 hours to reduce swelling, take any approved pain meds as needed, and eat soft foods. I would highly recommend Dr. Aslanian for your oral surgery needs! He is the best! Update: It is Day 11 and I am basically healed and fully recovered! No pain or swelling. I'd say the surgery was a success for me. I am just getting used to chewing again & practicing oral hygiene. Thank you Dr. Aslanian and his team! read more

I've had two amazing experiences with Dr. Aslanian: 4 wisdom teeth extractions and, separately, pulling of infected root canal tooth and related bone graft. Despite his office being VERY busy, he and his staff are professional, friendly and polite. Dr Asianian is an amazing doctor with an amazing staff. Absolutely the best and I've been to quite a few in my lifetime. As an elderly guy I had to have a molar extracted and I was a bit nervous due to the deep roots. It was the first time in my entire life that I didn't even feel a pinch from the injection to numb the area. Felt a little pressure but not much as he and his assistant got the job done in just a few minutes. I was really shocked that pain was very minimal and there was no visible swelling the next day. I know everyone can react differently but I'm sure is was due to his expertise not allowing any complications. Today I had a molar surgically removed by Dr. Aslanian. I have to say it was the best dental care I've ever had in my life. The office was beautiful. Staff was kind and attentive. When I walked in there was several people waiting but still it seems like the doctor got to me as soon as possible. I have to say I was frightened because I knew it would be a painful procedure but it was not even a quarter of as painful as I thought it would be dr. Aslanian is a true professional and I will be going to him exclusively from now on he took the time to explain the aftercare and even discussed some adjustments that I would need to make for my personal scenario. I had to have 4 wisdom teeth removed, one had cracked and the other 2 were impacted. I was super nervous going in, which was pointless because the staff was kind and reassuring during the whole process. My initial consultation took 20 min, Dr. Aslanian was kind, patient, and helped in answering all my questions. I was happy to find out that they accept care credit, which helped a lot since my insurance only covered half and you know, times are tough. Lol The day of the surgery was quick, they had me in and out, procedure took all of 40 min. The swelling is minimal, can't even tell, and I haven't had any pain just slight discomfort while eating. Which is to be expected. I highly recommend coming here, they are detailed in their instructions for before and after care. They even called me the day after surgery to check up on me! I was referred to Dr. Aslanian by my dentist to extract the upper-left wisdom tooth. Needless to say I was a little concerned because I am not a fan of dental procedures especially ones where I thought would be accompanied by a significant amount of pain. I was pleasantly surprised by staff and by Dr. Aslanian who met with me before the procedure and talked me through during the procedure. At most, I felt a pinch during the extraction. I felt completely at ease and this was due in large part to Dr. Aslanian's professionalism, patience, and understanding. I really hope future extractions of this type are not necessary, but if they are, I have Dr. Aslanian on speed-dial. In addition to this truly and unexpected pleasant experience, Dr. Aslanian's worked with me financially since I had already reached my dental insurance cap! The facility (Reseda) is very clean and modern and plenty of parking. Once the procedure was over, I received a care package and prescriptions were forwarded to my pharmacy. Eight hours after the procedure, I am experiencing NO pain (may be atypical) and I am giddy as I am typing this. This turned out to be a wonderful day! I rarely write reviews anymore but I felt compelled to actually do so for Dr. Aslanian. I was and am scared of dentists and have been putting off my wisdom tooth removal for quite awhile. Finally, I had to have them pulled because at least one was making me ill. They took xrays and I sat down to talk to Dr. Aslanian and he assured me that my removal would be pretty easy. I got to ask any questions I needed and I was able to book my appointment. I had to wait a few weeks because his schedule was pretty booked (a good sign in my opinion). His staff was really very sweet and calming on the two visits I had. On the day of my surgery (only 6 days ago), I was put into the chair and he came in, shook my hand and told me to relax. I barely felt the pinch from the needle. He said he was going to give me something to make me calm, I felt a slight tingle and the next thing I know I'm being woken up to go home. I don't remember a thing and that is gold to me. His demeanor, the staff, the office, and everything else was great. Had I known about him earlier, I would have had my wisdom teeth out long ago. He even texted me later that evening to see how I was going. That is excellent service and caring on his part. Disappointed with the Doctor and staff in front desk. My son got his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Aslanian , first of all he has a cut on the side of his inner mouth that had Stitches and they never communicated that with me or my son , communication is key. My son decided to do local anesthetic plus laughing, the laughing gas was way to high that he felt so uncomfortable.He decided to do a follow up because the office didn't advise it, and schedule the appointment and the lady that answer asked us if there anything wrong ??? Why would she ask that ? Follow ups are very important!! Anyway we got there for the follow up and basically the doctor rushed the follow up and rushed out before my son can ask a few more questions and was rude .I don't appreciate that because as a parents you want the highest customer service and attention for family and specially the patient! After calling the office and speaking with the front desk about my concerns , they didn't even apologize!!!since I couldn't talk to Dr. Aslanian, because he rushed out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as he shows no care for his patients. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I'm truly so glad that I went to Dr. Aslanian & his team for my wisdom teeth removal. In the beginning of February, my impacted wisdom tooth was starting to come out. It started to get infected. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful. We called on a Thursday, and Dr. Aslanian & his team were able to schedule me in the following Tuesday for an extraction. The whole experience, from the procedure to the recovery, was so much better than I had anticipated. And this is coming from someone who's scared of the dentist and getting their teeth taken out. You always hear horror stories about the recovery process, but I didn't need any of the pain meds he prescribed me. I didn't even need ibuprofen. I felt a little pressure on my jaw, but nothing that warranted needing any meds. Dr. Aslanian texted me the night of to check in on how I was feeling. A few days later, I had a question about my sutures. Sent him a text, and he responded quickly to reassure me that it was fine. A 5 STAR review for an oral surgeon seems odd (isn't this for restaurants and other businesses?) BUT I see why everyone seems to love Dr. Aslanian and his team. These reviews are helpful. No one wants to deal with oral surgery, and I was blessed to find Dr. Aslanian. When you hurt, it's no fun. I had angry nerves on a wisdom tooth. They were able to get me in to see the doctor within a week. I asked for some anti-biotics to settle inflammation down so I could make it to my appointment. Talia made that happen, and it truly saved me. I can't say how much I appreciated that kindness. Dr. Aslanian, as many mentioned, is very personable and caring. Dr. Aslanian is great! He makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet him. I had my consultation with him a couple of months back and he explained everything so well. I was getting all four of my wisdom teeth extracted and he suggested I do all four in one session while under conscious sedation. I was a little nervous at first because I have never been put to to sleep for anything medical related. I scheduled my surgery that day to ensure I got a good time of the week. A couple of weeks pass and for the first time ever, one of my wisdom teeth gets heavily inflamed and hurts like I took a sledge hammer to the jaw, I don't wish wisdom teeth infection pain on anyone, it's horrible!!! I called Dr. Aslanian's office to move up the date sooner and they also prescribed antibiotics for my infection. The day of the surgery finally arrives and I admit I was still a little nervous but I keep reminding myself, "this is a routine surgery, everybody gets put under, it's not a big deal, it's like taking a nap". I get to the office, my name is called, I sit in the chair, and I am still nervous but I still go with it, because what else am I gonna do? Cancel? Yeah right. Dr. Aslanian walks in and they give me the sleepy drugs, I close my eyes, he asks me "how am I feeling?" I say "sleepy..." and it literally felt like 2 seconds went by and I wake up, the procedure is done! Super painless and quick. Even when I woke up I felt no pain because of the local anesthesia they had to put into my mouth and jaw. I did as I was instructed, my fiancé took down all the notes and instructions of what I had to do post operation. I felt a little nauseous that day later on I think once all the anesthesia wore off but they prescribed something for that too. TLDR; He's a great doctor, makes you feel comfortable. Explains things well, knows what he is doing. Quick and painless if you do conscious sedation. Do not delay getting wisdom teeth extracted, the infection is so much worse and painful than getting them removed, believe it or not. Trust me, from someone that experienced both. read more

Look, I have never been a fan of the dentist. Quite frankly, I don't think there's many people who don't like the dentist more than I do. I had a dental extraction scheduled with Dr. Aslanian and the days and hours leading up to it were filled with anxiety. But the moment I walked inside and the moment I sat on that chair, it didn't seem so bad. Spoiler alert: it wasn't bad at all. Elizabeth communicated effectively, making sure I was comfortable and emphasizing that at any moment if I wasn't, to let them know immediately. Dr. Aslanian was sweet, making sure I was always okay. My son has his wisdom teeth removed probably a month ago, Dr Aslanian was very helpful when we first went to our appointment, talked to my son about the procedure and made him feel in peace about it. We went to other 2 doctors and he was feeling very nervous and insecure about the procedures but Dr Aslanian talked to him and told him he will take care of him and my son was very happy and pleased. On the day of the surgery everything went super smooth. The girls in the front helped me with school notes and gave me updates every now and then. When we left the nurse explained me everything we had to take care of, medicines, food, etc, and gave me a fun number to call or text in case I had questions or concerns which I thought it was great! But then that same day later at night I received a text message from Dr Aslanian asking how was my son and if I needed anything just text or call that number! First of all, I'm hella scared with needles, but when he inserted the IV, I didnt feel a thing, he reassured me that it'll be alright. He texted me night after surgery telling me to text him if I have questions. I saw the text msg at 11:30pm, I replied and told him that I was struggling with nausea and dizziness. Right there and then he called my pharmacy to order zofran for me and I was able to pick up my meds after 20 mins. He actually cares about his patients!! This guy is a rockstar of a surgeon ! I immediately felt safe and in good hands. I drove up from San Diego because he came highly recommended. I had horrible luck in San Diego with prior oral surgeons. Dr. Aslanian immediately put me at ease and gained my confidence. He even made the whole process enjoyable...yes enjoyable, if you can believe that. He's even funny...yes a surgeon with a sense of humor.
