It's a challenge to find vegetarian friendly options in the Azores. The islands seem focus on beef and fish. This can be a little frustrating. I usually end up eating side dishes or cheese sandwiches. :/
Happy to have found this pleasant restaurant. It's very clean, pleasant, and welcoming. Conveniently located next to the museum.
There don't appear to be many "main course" options available. Lasagna and stuffed peppers were the main dishes available during my visit. I highly recommend the stuffed pepper. Juicy red pepper with perfectly seasoned stuffing.
My meat eating family wasn't extremely impressed by the lasagna, but didn't complain.
Less than 42 euros for 5 people. Not shabby. read more
