Terrible Service! I waited at the bar for 8 minutes before I was greeted and things just went downhill from there. Chips and salsa didn't arrive until 5 minutes after the entree, and only because I had to specifically ask for them. Later in the meal the bartender refilled my water glass with warm water (5 minutes after having a conversation with her about how hot it was that day!). I could go on, but I'm already boring myself. The food was pretty good, but I'm skeptical of the other reviewer from Southern California who said it was some of the best Mexican he's ever had. I found it to be very similar to most other Mexican restaurants I've been to in Ohio that slather everything with cheese and sauce and call it authentic. However, my chimichanga did arrive slightly crispy, a technical feat that eludes the skills of most other restaurants. It is the only reason I've given this place 2 stars. Rolled in on a Monday night, not busy, so had quick service, food, drinks, and the check when my toddler started to melt down. Fair prices too. I had the carne asada tacos (I always look for whatever comes with corn tortillas, figuring it will be better) and they were delicious. Great pico de gallo too. So a group of us went to casa tonight around 7pm... got drinks, finally got a a table. Then proceeded to order food.... 2 freaking hours later still no food. He said some choice words to me in Spanish that I'll leave out. We called our friends over and told them what was going on and to pay your tab so we could leave. The waiter tried confronting me saying "excuse me? You talking shit?" I simply said "no, we are ready to leave after waiting for food for 2 hours." Dude had the audacity to tell me never come back again. I'm sorry what restraunt makes you wait 2 hours for food buddy? We told you 40 minutes ago if they hadn't started making our food to cancel it (he came back and told us it hasn't been started yet) so we cancelled our food. Food was average. My friends and I chose to eat here to wrap up our girls weekend. We arrived at 8:00 on a Sunday night (they close at 9:00). Our waitress threw our items on the table and asked us to pay our check before we were done eating so she could go clean the kitchen (and we needed refills that she never got). Then she came by just before close and asked for her tip because she wanted to leave (keep in mind all of this occurred before their actual close time). I do not recommend this place. Drinks were great! Food not so much! I ordered standard Nachos no meat. My mistake was to say just the usual sided and veggies as in peppers guacamole etc,,, he brings me nachos with motzarrella cheese, really?, not Monteray jack? With fajita vegetables on it. We come in with a party because you cant make reservations and then they get mad at you for bringing in a party. Im a server, you should attend to your tables especially before 15 mins. I liked it! We went around 5-6 on a friday night. No wait at all, food came out fast. Had my drink refilled numerous times without me having to flag someone down so that is always good. I had chimichungas they were ok tasty, for @10 not bad meal. My friend had a shrimp wrapped with bacon, vegetables, fajita and i had to help her finish the shrimp..10 pieces of shrimp and bacon good size. I think that was @$15 give or take.
