Its ok. Food is just ok nothing special. Service is ok but nothing special. Margarita was good. Refried beans are very strange tasting and have a funny grey color. I couldn't eat them. My husband had Carne Assada and he said it was good. I had the cheese enchilada's that had shredded chicken on top. Not much cheese. If your from Crossville, Tn. and thinks this is good Mexican food at any of the Mexican food restaurant in Crossville it's very sad to say your worng. The food here sucks , it's bland and no taste. Weve been wanting to try for the First time here for a while.. Was very busy. We were seated within 5 min. The wait staff was very pleasant though I had a hard time understanding his very broken English. My wife and I had taco salads , which were very, very good. Hers was beef, mine was chicken, again very good!!!. The lose of 2 stars in rating was purely because of poor ability to communicate. I understand it was a Mecican restaurant, but I don't speak Spanish. But, for the record, it was clean, pleasant atmosphere, prices were great, & food was very tasty. read more

Compared to where we moved from, which is a heavily Hispanic area, we have found most of the Mexican Restaurants in the greater Crossville area to be distinct in their blandness. We had hoped that Casa Grande would be an exception to this but we found that they largely followed suit with the others that we have tried. One distinction we noticed is that Casa Grande seems to be popular with what seem to be single-parent families with preschoolers in tow. In our opinion, Casa Grande is definitely not the place to go for a relaxing "adult" evening out. Perhaps we were there too early in the evening? The food itself was fair, if on the bland side, and the drinks were likewise generic. I had ordered three different brands of beer only to be told that each one was "out". I finally gave up and ordered a good looking but largely tasteless and weak margarita. I should have just stuck with ice water for all the drink did for me. The service was very good and friendly; it elevated what was in essence a two-star experience. We'll give them another try in the future and write an update. read more

We enjoyed our dinner. We had fajitas for two - beef and chicken combo. Plenty of food for 2 people. We had the leftovers for breakfast the following morning. The service was good and polite. Restaurant seemed clean and had a festive decor. I liked the fact that the chips come with queso and salsa, both dips were yummy. I had the chicken chimichangas and my friend had the burrito. Both were good but we both wished the meat had more flavor. I would go back again to try some other dishes. read more

Amazing restaurant! Food was delicious. The bean and cheese dip was phenomenal. The salsa was a little lacking. Just a smooth taco sauce consistency. But the steak fajita burrito was on point!!! Veggies tasted like they came off of a charcoal grill. The flavor profile was amazing! I would highly recommend you don't skip this restaurant if you're in Crossville, TN. Fajitas were served without tortillas. We had to ask for them. Black beans were without any seasoning. Chille rellenos was delicious. Chicken enchilada bland and dry. Tortilla chips served with salsa and some type of light brown tasteless type of sauce. Maybe a refried bean watered down? Not sure. Price was good for what we received. read more

I stopped by Casa Grande grab lunch on a Monday afternoon, as they were right down the road from where I was working. They were not very busy at the time, maybe two or three other parties were here. They quickly brought out the complementary chips and salsa, and they also brought out a dip that tasted like a mix between a cheese and a black bean dip. The dip was pretty good, and the salsa was on the sweet side. I added a bit of hot sauce so I could get some heat from it too. The chips are probably made in-house and are perfect: thick and a bit salty, and baked (not fried). I ordered the Enchilada Ricas, and I guess I misread the description. I was expecting 3 cheese enchiladas with a side of beans and a side potato. What I got was an enchilada with a potato in it, an enchilada with beans in it, and an enchilada with cheese in it. I couldn't taste the enchilada sauce, so either there wasn't enough of the sauce, or the flavor of it was very bland (possibly a little of both). I was wishing I'd gotten all cheese enchiladas so I saved the cheese one for last (best for last!) but something tasted off about it- maybe it was that I couldn't really taste the sauce and was only getting the tastes of the tortilla and cheese. My service was good but they came like, every two minutes to check on me. In the time I was trying to write a text message, they came by 2-3 times, and often to re-ask me things I'd said no to previously. The plus side to that was, I was able to get my check quickly and head back to work in a very timely manner. read more

There was a large amount of food on the floor under our seats with spilled milk. 3 out of the 5 chairs had broken chips on our seats. This is very dirty restaurant the floor looked dirty the window blinds had a ton of dust on it. The server assistant or bus girl was very rude and you could feel she did not want to be working. They gave us stale chips salsa. We asked for more salsa and they gave us this orange looking sauce that tasted like chef boy r dee ravioli sauce.... disgusting. Terrible customer service. Chips and salsa are great they have a verity of salsa if you ask. Comes with bean and cheese dip which is nice while you are waiting on your food. First time at Casa Grande. All six at out table ordered something different to get a good idea of the dishes available. There were no complaints about the quality of our meals. I ordered the shrimp Chimichungas and was pleasantly surprised. The grilled shrimp were delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Was a little bit disappointed in our waiter. He did get the orders a bit out of order when they arrived at the table. Also, he brought my wife chicken Chimmies instead of the beef she ordered. But, she was chatting away with friends and didn't notice until the second bite. She said it was very good. The only other observation I have is....why did we have to choose between rice and beans. All Mexican restaurants I have frequented serve both with entres. All and all, a good restaurant..we will be back. read more

Shitty management & owner! Way to ruin mother's day. We had family visiting us from out of town and thought of taking everyone to casa grande as this restaurants is our go to place for our family, we come here at least twice a month and celebrate almost all of our birthdays and important occasions. This time we had horrible experience with the manager/owner. (Tall lady looks Mexican who was at cash register whom she calls her self owner/manager). Since we are usual there, they have wait staff who knows us and our usual order. Today when we went there we had new waiter serving us and he was friendly but was weak in english. He couldn't understand what we were trying to order, he was continuously making mistake while bringing our appetizer and drinks and sides. We tried explaining him nicely and calming even though we were starving, that we wanted something else and he was not understanding, while this whole thing was going on, the lady who claimed her self as owner/manager (she said she was both) cut in the conversation telling us that we need to have patients with the waiter since was not understanding. She started being rude and bitch and started giving us attitude like it's our fault that her waiter who can't speak or understand English is getting wrong order. It was so humiliating for our family front of all crossville community. Our family is very well known in the community and we couldn't believe how we were being treated, it was ridiculous how the manager/owner can be so rude to her coustmer and insults them. We were so embarrassed front of our guests. The owner even started commenting on our family business, like what kind of io is that. I really hope she realized what she has done, by insulting our family she will be losinjg lost of coustmer as I will make sure the community knows what she has done. I went here for the first time tonight and I really liked this place. Lots of selections and great vegan selection. I really like cilantro the only thing missing in the salsa but everything was very good. They serve a bean dip and cheese and salsa, great chips nice and fresh. The server was a great too. There were 6 of us and everyone liked their food except my mother said she likes grilled chicken but got like a shredded chicken but I think you can get grilled. read more

This is our favorite restaurant in Crossville. Excellent food, friendly waiters and staff. Their birthday celebrations are a hoot! Plenty of seating (usually) for larger parties. Big menu with a lot of variety, even Vegan choices. Lunch specials. They have unique dishes prepared by true Mexicans, so they know how to prepare the food right. I've never heard a complaint about their food. One trip a friend of mine and I ordered Queso Fundido and the order got mixed up. We were brought another dish. When our waitress found out, she told us we could have that dish, no charge, and were quickly brought the other dish. They aim to please. Christina, often our waitress, is super friendly. We've celebrated 8 birthdays there so far. It's fun to take a friend and surprise them for their birthday. read more
