We stopped in for a late lunch today. Our first time at this particular location. We decided to order the two fajitas meal. It arrived with seared shrimp, skirt steak, & chicken with onions and green peppers. A side of Mexico rice and refried beans accompanied the fajitas. Corn tortillas were wrapped in foil on a separate plate. The shrimp was the best tasting item. Cooked just right. The corn tortillas were day old looking and stuck together so they tore into pieces and no the best for the meat mixture. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The establishment is small and cozy for an evening meal. Hopefully the tortillas are better next time. read more

Went here for lunch order a combination plate. The young Mexican waitress was sitting next to the kitchen and she looks as if she had a problem waiting on me, she took my order. Got my food which sucks, I gave her twenty dollars to pay for my food she returns with no change, so I ask her how much was my food was she said the twenty dollars cover it. when I got home I call the restaurant and ask to speak to the manager and ask how much my food was, he apologizes saying I paid to much so I return to get my changes. Truly good Mexican food in the heart of Tennessee. With chile rellenos and mole on the menu, I knew this was going to be in the spirit of authenticity... and it was. The chile relleno is made from scratch, lightly battered, and delicately fried. Served on a bed of red chile sauce, it had great flavor. It is very mild so middle Tennesseans won't have to worry. If you want it spicier, ask for a spicy salsa and they'll comply. The mole was rich and had a very pleasant depth of flavor. Again, they make it from scratch in the restaurant... no small feat given the number of ingredients. The beef taquitos were terrific. Slices of beef (not ground) and onion filled 4 thin corn tortillas that were quickly deep fried, then served with shredded lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Total comfort food! You can tell they hand-roll the taquitos prepared in the kitchen. All-in-all, this was a very pleasant surprise for Mexican food in Crossville. Nothing is overly spiced unless you do it yourself, which I prefer since I can make it as hot as I like. I would DEFINITELY return to Las Margaritas the next time I'm in Crossville! read more

Stopped in over the week of Thanksgiving with my son. There were a couple of other tables there, There appeared to be one American girl who was trying to figure out the music who was the server that day and two Mexican guys one of whom appeared to be her husband or boyfriend who also checked on us. Anyways it's a small one cook operation but we thought they did a good job again. We've been there a few times now and the fajitas I got were good. My son enjoyed his chicken quesadilla. Salsa was good too. It's a pretty good place for being right in Fairfield Glade. Being so small I'm not sure it can accomodate big groups that well so you'd probably be better off going to one of the larger Mexican restaurants in Crossville. For how small Crossville is they seem to have quite a few Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

Best Mexican place in town, IMO! Everything is always fresh and very hot! I do not like the recent changes to their cheese dip, but that's okay. The staff is always friendly and filling the drinks up, or giving you a large glass so you don't run out as fast. I really enjoy visiting this place. Great atmosphere as well. Las Margaritas's food is not flavorful. The ground beef, which is used in most dishes, tastes like plain ground beef. If has no flavor unless you add salsa to it. For those who like very mild tasting food, this restaurant would be okay. The service is nothing outstanding but the waiters/waitresses are friendly. read more

We are here visiting from Austin, Texas, so we've eaten in plenty of good Mexican Restaurants. We went to Las Margaritas because the other restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Monday. We spotted this place close by and took a chance. What a surprise: Great service, excellent food. The chef here is from Mexico, and everything was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. We were in Crossville for a family reunion and decided to check out the local food. Definitely had better. I really wanted to like this place, but the food was mediocre and the margarita was easily forgotten. The salsa was blah, chips seemed on the verge of being stale, and my pollo habanero was ok at best. Maybe I just picked the wrong menu item.
