From the moment I…read morearrived, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze and offering great local recommendations. The property is maintained very well and offers a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. My room was clean and came with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is right on the beach, and the minimal noise made it easy to relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the ocean waves right from my room. Waking up to that view and sound each morning is an amazing thing. Watching the sunsetting in the evening was perfect. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Vieques, Bravo Beach Hotel is a fantastic choice.

When I arrived I was checked in and given a tour of the attractive property by the staff member on duty. My room was spacious and comfortable along with the bathroom that had a shower in it. The ac worked well too. The TV was a smaller screen that I think was less than 32" and was mounted high up on the wall so TV watching could be better. The room had a small refrigerator in it. Shortly after checking in I received a series of text messages from the owner regarding information about Isabel II such as restaurants nearby, grocery stores, taxi info, tour companies, etc, which was helpful. Bravo Beach is well maintained with 2 freshwater pools and less than 20 rooms all with outdoor facing entrances. It is located directly on the water with a beach but swimming is not allowed or desired from the shell beach however the beach is available for walking. The hotel does offer the free use of beach supplies like coolers and folding chairs, etc. if you need them. They do have their own small parking lot and more parking next to the hotel but I'm not sure they have enough parking if all of their rooms are full. The hotel is located about a 6-7 minute walk from the ferry terminal. If I returned to Vieques I would be happy to stay at Bravo Beach Hotel again.

This is truly a gem on the little island of Viequea. Penny the owner and the charm of the property make it 5 Star. At $120 per night you get a kitchen with a frig, stove and microwave, sitting area with a table to eat and a huge balcony with a table, lounge chairs and a hammock and did I mention the view? Now be prepared as from 2-3 am the local chickens are quite consistently vocal until a bit after 7. Quite common in the Caribbean but if you aren't prepared it can be an adjustment. There is no food or beverage service here but lots of good food options very close. I highly recommend renting a jeep rather than a golf cart as the terrain is quite hilly and many of the beaches are down unpaved gravel roads. The hotel has a small but quite pleasant pool. You also have to take a ferry from the main island to get here. Plan ahead. The ferry only sells 20% of the tickets ahead of time and only 2-3 weeks in advance. I'm a firm believer in doing right by people, loving people with all that you got, being faithful and giving them the best version of you even if they don't return it. Because when you do, it all comes back to you. Maybe not in the form of that person, but it comes back ten fold! Let people choose their ego, their ways, and their own actions become their greatest regret. When you're pure, things ALWAYS work in your favor. I am super grateful to have found the most beautiful human ever six months ago! I don't know how long he will be in my life but I'm keeping him as long as I can! He's amazing! My girlfriends say I tell all the boys that they're beautiful but he really is. He is the bougie one between us. We stayed 4 nights 5 days here at the beautiful Dorado Beach Ritz Carlton Reserve. Let's talk about the Yelp glitch. I checked in everyday only to realize it was the wrong place so beware. There is Ritz Carlton on the app but it's not this one. I think Dorado Beach at the beginning of the name throws this off. Anyway, on to this beautiful resort. If you have 2k a night to spare (for a regular room) definitely book here. Yes, two thousand dollars a night is what this beautiful resort is going for and it's worth every single penny! The younger members of our group didn't appreciate this hotel but I did! There is only a select few who can afford this place and well, I love to network so this was perfection! We met so many other couples. The families complaint was it was for couples and old people. They wanted more action so if you have younger family traveling with you this may not be the place. Honeymoon, yes! Anniversary, yes! Girls trip, yes! Couples getaway, yes! ENGAGEMENT, YES! Room: There is so much to love about this resort, let's talk about the rooms. OMG! I can't express how magical it was! I've been to quite a few resorts at 5 star hotels this summer but I can tell you this place was a little more special because it's on the beach and the plunge in the room makes it perfect for night time! ROMANTIC! I'd say this is probably the best room but also the most expensive one we've stayed at this summer. He spares no cost when it comes to me and I feel like a princess! So if you want princess treatment, this is it! Spa: Elaine was wonderful, she was my masseuse. The SPA is UNMATCHED! It's huge and it's tranquillizing. If you're balling on a budget at the very least try this spa out if you cannot afford to stay here. You will NOT regret it! They have a tree house that you can get a massage at! I opted for a traditional room, still so calm and comfortable! It smells so good! Staff: Most staff were nice but I'd honestly say they could have been nicer. These people are spending money so complaints were coming. If you're going to charge 2k a night everything should be perfect! I could totally get why the employees might be the way some of them were. Food: There is limited options on sight, luckily there are tons of options outside of the resort. COA and Positivo were two available restaurants. View is amazing and food was great! We opted to dine out every night for dinner. The HIGHLIGHT, there is a Golf Course! You already know, we love Golf! Well, I am starting to love it! And they are adding another course! I loved how pretty it was and cannot wait to come back! Now this was a luxurious peaceful vacation. Thanking God everyday for unanswered prayers! Highly recommend betting on yourself..... and coming to this hotel! Talk about a FLEX! When people take advantage of you let them, Gods in control! Redirection is Gods Devine Protection! Yes! Yes! I DO!

As always, I conducted a bunch of research, some say too much but they always ask me to find things for them... The name for the Hacienda Tamarindo is derived from Tamarindo trees on the property. If you go to Vieques there is a ferry they run all day. Ticket was two dollars. Vieques is a nature preserve so expect to see horses everywhere on the island. Oh yeah, roosters too. You need a rental car on the island. Well, at least I would recommend one and am glad I had one. There is no way to see the beaches without a vehicle. Hacienda Tamarindo will reserve your rental for you if you ask. Be aware that you may not want to arrive on the island before the rental company opens. If I'm ever on Vieques I will stay at the Hacienda Tamarindo.

The people here are so accommodating; they have 3 restaurants on the property and they are all equally good. from formal to casual you can't go wrong eating at any of them. i'm a marriott member and had some points that i used for one night and im happy i took advantage of it. unfortunately they are converting the property to a 4 seasons and it will be far more expensive to stay here. My young kids were delighted with this. There is a boathouse area with free kayaking, standup paddle boarding and inflatable playground. This boathouse also offers more high-tech water sports equipment for rent. For families There are adult bikes and children's bikes on the resort that are complementary. There are golf carts that take you from one area to another as everything is pretty spread out. For example, from the main gate to the hotel is a little less than a mile. Only two free breakfast are included with Marriott status. So if you are traveling with kids, you have to pay $22 plus tip for their breakfast every morning. They have a few sand toys to share out on the beach. The large pool area does have Shallow parts for children. For adults The beach here is gorgeous though setback many yards from the hotel. The pool does not have an adult only area that I know of. There is a nice but small hot tub. You have access to all of the spa amenities every day as a guest here. There is a small gym next to the spa and a larger gym called the wellness center which is about Half a mile from the main area. Food issues The main issue here as many other of viewers have stated is the lack of decent food selection. Sea grapes is decent but only open until 5 PM. Paro gets terrible reviews and is excessively overpriced Mediterranean food. However, an Uber from the hotel to Rio Grande is not expensive around $10 and they are good restaurants, but you must do your own research. I recommend Los kioskos de luquillo Which have many food options and it is basically a beach party scene better for adult adults than kids. Service and butler service overall were spotty. We were given incorrect information multiple times. Don't forget to take a ton of cash to tip-wish they would include this in the final bill. Loved the ocean view, comfy beds, and spacious bathroom. Overall a nice stay and would consider coming back if the food options improved a bit!

I had to work in the lobby while they cleaned our room and the high tables made working easier. There is a fragrance in the lobby that irritates my allergies though. Front desk: service is hit or miss depending on who is working the front desk but all employees are professional. Arrival: we came by Uber and the staff is outside the car door ready to assist with luggage and whatever else you might have that needs to be unloaded. Bar: we received some drink vouchers. We ordered the free drink with passion fruit. Our bartender was a young man with curly hair and he made a great drink! Room: sleep quality is very good to excellent!! The hotel is always hopping and we were able to have a good night sleep. Only during our second night, did I briefly hear a neighbor slam a door, but other than that nothing. The door is very comfortable and large with plenty of seating and a nice balcony to see the ocean. We were here on work so not having a desk made work challenging but the coach really helped with the large table. It worked perfect! Mini fridge, safe, and nice Nespresso coffee machine. The room is surface clean meaning it appears clean, but if you wear white socks, they will turn black. A/C: there are some quirky setting on the A/C. If you don't put it on recirculate, the room will get hot at night. WIFI: It is hit and miss. Day 1 i had to use my phone as a hotspot to connect to a work call. Day 2 the WIFI was strong for my conference calls. Front room: nice large coach with separate TV but the window was weird and not very private but the extra sliding door helped. Bathroom: excellent lightening and vent fan in the bathroom. Very spacious. Room service: Make sure to put the sign on your door or room service can take a very long time to get to your room. After breakfast I put out the sign and I was serviced quickly within 2 hours. The first day I forgot to put out the sign and the room was not serviced until after 5pm. Room was not yet ready, and the receptionist gave us some free drink vouchers for the bar. Room (954): A spacious sweet. Living room included a colossal sectional, large TV, dresser, and breakfast table. The living room also included a Nespresso machine and a mini-refrigerator. Bedroom included a king bed with a bench and nightstands. One negative about this suite: lack of a desk. I was on business, and working from the sofa sectional got old fast. Bathroom: Excellent lighting. Spacious and clean shower. Bed: Decent but not great mattress. Sleep quality: Above average Patio: Nice patio with two chairs and a small table; really enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio watching the surf. WiFi: WiFi when it worked was generally fast. But I missed a video conference due to poor connectivity the day before we left. Housekeeping: Overall housekeeping was good, but the floors were not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival or during our stay. Pools and beach: Multiple pools to lounge by. Great poolside food and drink service. Nice beach (but it can be dangerous to swim at times) with typical seaweed issues. Staff: All of the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Great staff overall! Value: Overall good value Overall common area cleanliness: Excellent Misc Tips: (1) There are many decent restaurants within walking distance. (2) There's a large grocery store called SuperMax about 1 mile away. It's worth the Uber fare to stock up on everything from alcohol to snacks (including gifts to take home, such as Puerto Rican coffee for $2.95 / 8 ounce pack
