It's been a while since I have taken any Bushcraft classes so a friend of mine set up a group class…read moreand it was better then I expected. The instructor, "Eriq with a Q", explained all the elements in great detail and he was very patient with us throughout the day. I picked up some new skills and had a chance to practice some old skills and I will definitely be back.

(this adventure actually prompted me to start working out again). If you answered yes to any of this, I think you'd love the caving adventures trip. You probably wouldn't even be as sore as me if you're in better shape as well. I had the delight of going on the caving adventures trip guided by Eriq and another guide (sorry that i forgot his name). We were able to explore inside the cave and I was able to do a lot more than I ever thought I could in a very safe, controlled, yet challenging environment. I loved how Eriq was very good at telling us how to be safe and avoid accidents. It was a great balance of making you very aware of the risks you might face without being over dramatic to scare you but yet serious enough that you heeded his advice. What I thought was the neatest thing about caving was that it combined many outdoor activities into one. Whether it was going down a 30-40ft drop by harness, figuring out how to climb different rocks, squeezing and crawling on your belly through tunnels, or wedging your body between objects to climb or descend. I really enjoyed Eriq's way of pushing us to do more even when you might have been hesitant. He was very good at bringing out the best in you but yet not so insistent that you felt pressured. By the end of the adventure I did much more than I thought I would and really felt a sense of accomplishment. Not to mention I got one hell of a work out. Highly recommend, this is one of the more memorable experiences I've had in life.

Coaches were super helpful, and liked that they respected the kids when helping. I was also happy to see that classes were not over packed like other establishments we have tried before. We will definitely be trying other classes after this one! I'll update as this was the first time we have taken a "class". It's still less structured than I anticipated but still loved that the coaches helped my little build confidence to try new things and didn't push them to try!

My daughter loves the classes and does not want me to cancel ever. She began coming her since Feb on her 9th birthday and was enrolled into beginner blooms. After 6 months they recommended her go into intermediate blooms. I love that. They evaluate the kids to see when they are ready to go to the next step and give you the option to switch classes when available. The goal is for them to get better so seeing this and what she can do validates that. I love the show cases they have for the parents. And on an everyday basis there is seating for parents when you are waiting for the class to be finished. If you have to makeup a class it's super easy! I didn't do it right the first time and Thaina assisted me virtually to make my experience pleasant . Great customer service here. I cannot wait to continue to see my child development here. Thank you all

Everyone is lovely and remembers my daughter by name even though she is only there 1-2 times a month. Ms. Seemab is especially lovely and always provides such nice feedback about what my daughter learned throughout the day and how she did. Shortly after we were warned by someone we met that it's not a good school, they were right. There are many families on grants and financial support (lower income),which we did not mind, though there is no system in place and the preschool lacks leadership and clear guidance from the director and corporate. Teachers don't seem to know when asked questions and do not make any decisions. Often, staff members were on their cell when I came to pickup. It is not Regio or Montessori teaching approach, and from what I've seen the teachers cut and glue the art projects, the children learn by repeating and being indoctrinated with information instead of exploring hands-on and being asked open-ended questions. We were not updated when there were issues that rose, and only found out after the fact that things were handled poorly and without any consent from the parents. This is our third child and I work in education, if you value your child's education and want them to thrive in a supportive, welcoming and communal environment, there are better options out there.

Bad--they were short staffed. My daughter was looking forward to sewing and baking, but for like 2 weeks it wasn't avaliable. This camp is expensive, so no bueno. Also, last day of camp, they called me as I was on the way to pick the kids up. I thought they were calling because it was exactly 6, and I was late, and it was the very last day of camp. The camp counselor says "your son is bleeding a lot out of his nose, it's A LOT of blood" I rushed in. They tell me another kid punched him in the face, but they don't know what happened. They asked who was watching the kids? They said they were too busy, so don't know what happened. The camp counselor said they were understaffed, that they had been "asking for more staff like the other camps have", and that she was going to write a complaint about it. I asked her to send me an incident report via email. This counselor also said "we'll be here tomorrrow (Saturday) cleaning up and will send the incident report. She never sent it to me. It's funny because before the kids did this camp, I saw a review from a mom saying something about the kids being unsupervised, and her kid got hurt, but I thought maybe this mom was overreacting. Now I see what she is saying. Would I send them again? Yes, because they really loved it. The counselors are nice, but they need proper support and the kids can be free, but should still be supervised. I would probably drive a little extra and take them to one that is staffed better.
