First time in a class setting at DDGNA, as we have only participated in open gym before. It was a great experience and my little one tried things they were not comfortable with in the ninja course and had a great time! Coaches were super helpful, and liked that they respected the kids when helping. I was also happy to see that classes were not over packed like other establishments we have tried before. We will definitely be trying other classes after this one! I'll update as this was the first time we have taken a "class". It's still less structured than I anticipated but still loved that the coaches helped my little build confidence to try new things and didn't push them to try! read more

I wanted to write this review after being here for almost a year. I find that fair. My experience with this facility has been nothing but great! My daughter loves the classes and does not want me to cancel ever. She began coming her since Feb on her 9th birthday and was enrolled into beginner blooms. After 6 months they recommended her go into intermediate blooms. I love that. They evaluate the kids to see when they are ready to go to the next step and give you the option to switch classes when available. The goal is for them to get better so seeing this and what she can do validates that. I love the show cases they have for the parents. And on an everyday basis there is seating for parents when you are waiting for the class to be finished. If you have to makeup a class it's super easy! I didn't do it right the first time and Thaina assisted me virtually to make my experience pleasant . Great customer service here. I cannot wait to continue to see my child development here. My daughter had her 4th birthday party here yesterday and it was a blast! The kids and parents all enjoyed themselves and there was so much to do that no kid was ever bored. The hour flew by and everyone wanted more time! The staff were really incredible! They helped with set up and clean up and everything in between! Every time I needed anything a staff member was there to offer assistance and they did it with a smile on their face - even though I asked for a lot! The party was absolutely perfect! My nieces are quite the gymnasts, and I've seen them in action (and taken part in the action) several times to date. If you don't know who Dominique Dawes is, please Google her -- I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person there yet, but my sister and her fam are several times, and the optimistic attitude I've heard about seems to ripple throughout the gym. The staff I have interacted with while there were all very polite, welcoming and helpful. We even organized a birthday party in the backroom there once, and the staff were so excited to help out and support us. They have a cool variety of classes -- now, I can't speak on the prices, but my multiple experiences there were nothing short of pleasant. And yay for free Wi-Fi! read more

celebrated my grandsons 4th Birthday party recently and unfortunately it was a complete disaster - I'm sure the staff meant well but there were too many staff members (5) in our tiny party room and they were simply in the way - too many chefs in the kitchen - the kids had a great time in the gym but when it came to the pizza party it was chaotic and very rushed - if celebrating here make sure to set some of your own ground rules ahead of time otherwise any plans you've made will be ignored and you'll be wondering after the party "what just happened?!" read more

My kids like the low key classes and the Ninja classes. As my daughter is progressing to more advanced levels even at 7 years old she is clearly outgrowing the place. This is not the place for any level of serious training. The customer services is poor. The employees are not treated well, and are working out of fear as opposed to listening and responding to customer needs. The rules are rigid and based on revenue. Pack in as many kids into classes as they can, get them in, get them out, charge those cards, make it difficult to disenroll or change anything once you are in. Customer service does allow any flexibility such as pausing memberships during summer. The parent portal is terrible, most of the time when you call customer service you can't get a human, and if try to deal with things on site most of the time all the employees tell you is they don't have permission. read more

The management there is horrible due to certain was things are being handled there. They need to hire a new manager someone who is not controlling and actually cares kids safety . Other then that its a great gym for kids to play and the coaches are amazing .!!! just need new management!. read more

This past weekend we celebrated my daughter's birthday and I just wanted to thank the staff for everything they had done. They were prepped and ready for us. The kids had so much fun and even the adults were happy to see their kids getting tired out. My only wish would be that the kids have more playtime. It was only 90 mins with 60 mins playtime and 30 min celebration however the 60 mins really felt like 45 mins and would have totally purchased another 30 min to extend the playtime. Overall though it was great and would recommend anyone to celebrate their kids birthday here. read more

My four year old daughter just joined the Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy a month ago during COVID. She couldn't be happier! Pro's: -Classes are small, my daughter is in a group of 8 other children with one instructor. They have a warm up in the beginning, individual stations of the 'exercise', and then a cool down at the end. -Sign up was easy online and most of my questions were answered on the FAQ's page of the website. I did email them with one question and the response time was within 24 hours. -Staff and Dominique are very informative, kind, encouraging, and welcoming. Made my daughter feel she has been at the academy for months. -Parents are not allowed to watch inside during COVID. You have to be a creepier and look through the dark tinted windows outside of the building. Best option is the live streaming video app they offer so you can see your child. Tip: register early for the app, it takes a few days for approval before you can actually begin streaming the video feed. -COVID safe: They email an online check in with COVID questionnaire. Offers hand sanitizer at entrance, temperature check, clean bathrooms, face masks, etc. -Large parking lot with plenty of spaces Con's: -No con's for me! Just hate not being able to have my daughter see me cheer her on during class because of COVID. Really glad we listened to all the buzz from friends of this academy! read more

I just cancelled my daughter's enrollment after registering in July. My decision to cancel was the final push, which is due to their make up policy (will go over that shortly) but it wasn't just because of it exclusively. 1. Since day one when I signed up, the place truly lacks of customer service. I don't know what it is, but maybe because they are new and lack experience just being in business for a year. Every class, it felt that each of the instructors were doing you a favor for being there. Don't expect much. 2. Dominique owns the place and does come in sometimes. But don't expect to be greeted by her, she seems to be always in hurry as if she can't be bothered and always talking to the employees. And when she does talk to people around (saying hi) it's mostly cause she is showing the place around with new people. Not sure how that works too, but I wasn't given the tour or welcome from her, but there seems to be families that are personally shown around by her at times. 3. The actual class is very plain...it's really more like a play area than actually learning proper gymnastics. They just occasionally spot correct your child, but doesn't really do much. So if you have a child just starting and really want to get into gymnastics, would not recommend at all. 4. Make-up policy. Don't get fooled with the "unlimited make-up test" and "easy make-up class" pitch. What they actually don't explicitly say on their policy is that they REQUIRE you to inform them in advance to be eligible for a makeup class. This is deal breaker for me. As a parent, last minute plans can change or a child can get sick - why have to worry about notifying a gymnastic class of absent? It is the least thing a parent would want to make sure to do that same day! And for the record, my child only missed 1 class that I asked to make-up. But that wasn't even considered! In light of #4 in where I was told no exception, that was my last draw with this place. I inquire other gymnastics in the area and they have more flexible make-up policy. I chose to cancel as I would rather have my child somewhere else learned Gymnastics with a better policy and much friendlier staff. I gave a 1 for the rating because it is a new place, so all the equipments and place is nice. But that's really about it. read more

My son has ADHD and our experience there has been fantastic. He takes the ninja class and has absolutely loved it. We have struggled in other gymnastics and ninja classes with mostly attention and focus, but these classes are good balance of instruction and play. The kids are kept constantly moving and they keep around 4 courses going at once so there is not a ton of waiting in line. The Instructors explain and demonstate each course at the beginning of class and they change them out weekly so there is always something new. We also did a couple weeks of the camp and we also highly recommend. read more
