The owner is friendly, helpful, and accommodating when making reservations or picking colors for your masterpiece. There are about 8 tables inside and one outside that you could paint at. The place setting is put out for you (palette tile, sponge, water) and you get to choose the brushes and paint colors that you'd like to use. There are shelves with various types of items you can paint (bowls, cups, pencil holders, figurines, vases, and the list goes on). There are also examples provided on the shelves to provide you with inspiration. Typically, you pick up the item within a week.

He has a wonderful rhythm to his teaching that allows all to find success - he demonstrates each step while thoroughly explaining, gives you time to try it while supervising and supporting, then allowing all to try and answering any and all question. out pieces were fired and we came back a few weeks later to paint our pieces. I picked them up today and I just feel so proud of the three pieces I made...and I can't wait to take more classes!

There is a variety of colors to choose from and have samples to know how the paint will look when fired. Some people have already mentioned it, but I highly recommend doing multiple layers. Our mugs ended up streaky in some spots. The paint dries fairly quickly, so it wasn't too bad applying layers. There were a lot of pottery pieces to choose from. I wish there were more like basic pieces though to have a more blank canvas. The prices were reasonable for each piece! The prices were written on the bottom. The firing process took about a week. My boyfriend and I have been using our mugs almost every day and they have held up well! Paint on mine did chip on the side, but my boyfriend's mug has been completely fine.

We texted beforehand to see if they had availability for potter painting today and made a reservation. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted, and a staff member explained the process. We got to pick out a piece to paint and there were a great variety of options! Pieces in different shapes and sizes from animals to more traditional dish ware and even fun holiday options. Each piece has a price listed on it as well which was nice to know before selecting an option. We picked matching cats to paint. We had a table reserved with our name on it and got some more directions once seated about tips on painting. The staff again was super friendly and helpful! After we got the intro, we painted away. There were a variety of tools, colors and staff helped us with any questions. Once we were done, we brought our pieces to the front and paid. They spend their days outdoors, exploring nature, and doing all sorts of amazing activities. Bonfires, tubing, swimming hole, fishing, zip lining, you name it! And even horseback riding now, too. The staff are wonderful and attentive - getting to know all of the children (not just the ones assigned to their groups).
