It gives you the quote right there and then you pick from their available time schedule. It was so so easy! Parking was a little tricky but I found a green P next to Kinton ramen just down the street. From the moment you arrive, everyone's so welcoming! I sat down with Julia pretty quickly and she took the time to look at my pictures of haircut ideas. She listened to what I was looking for and genuinely cares! Hair wash was heaven of course, and I was so ready for this cut. Julia took her time and continuously evaluated the hair length and how it was sitting. I love how meticulous she was with it all. And she was very friendly. It was easy to have a conversation with her and she just makes you feel comfortable. She ended up helping me style the new cut and I was over the moon with it! 110% recommend. Through the hour I was here, they had a few other clients in and you could tell all the stylists enjoyed chatting with them. They all have a great, welcoming aura. I also love the corner location. Then we found this one on yelp and it had many good reviews so, we went to try it out. Both me and my friend wanted to do some sort of ombre balayage. We called in and we asked if they can do balayage and they said yes so we booked an appointment. When we arrived, Daniel is a very nice guy and has a good sense of humour. He really knows how to cut hair really well and gives you opinions and options. His assistant however, I don't think she knows how a balayage works. I wanted a dark red balayage ombre. I showed the assistant pictures of how I wanted the colour of my hair to be like but when it was done, my hair didn't have a gradient. Also the inside of my hair didn't have much of a transition from going black to dark red. In my opinion I think this salon is a great place to get a hair cut but if you are going to get colour done such as, a balayage it's best to look for another place.

Up until he set me and my friend up with a hair stylist named ray. I trusted danelle salon and assumed this guy will be just as good. THE guy truly messed up our hair. I don't know where to begin. I took the time and explain what I wanted and how long I wanted. The guy said easy no problem. So earlier last month danelle cut my hair and left it in a way so I can go grow out my hair. Long story short rays cut was a mess with uneven sides corners and front. In fact that's probably why he used so much gel to push down our hair. Well - pictures speaks louder than words. Not only that but the gel that this ray guy used smelled like sh**. Literally smelled like glue and completely over applied it. This guy will truely destroy this salon. I am not happy and was extremely pissed on the way out. You can't even fix it. This is the last time I along with my friend go there. We were basically set up. Again, I normally don't write reviews and take pictures. But the cut was so awful that I'm forced to write this review to let everyone know to be careful and not be a laughing stock. I did not receive great customer experience at this salon, resulting in this 1 star. I called and…read moremade an appointment for a blow dry and to have my hair waved out over the phone. When I came in, the stylist named Liz was the one who did my hair. Apart from her giving me the cold shoulder the entire appointment, when I asked if I could have beach waves after my wash, she perseverated if it was for a special event. Not sure what answer she was looking for but I told her I was going out to dinner with a friend later during the day, so no - it's not a special event. After a couple more minutes of uncomfortable silence, I told her to just leave my hair straight. Her mood instantly changed and she started smiling and making small talk about the weather. By the end of my appointment, I paid, left a tip (which I instantly regret) and stepped out of the salon feeling very dissatisfied. On top of receiving poor customer service, the blow dry I received was definitely NOT worth what I paid for. I love trying new places and supporting local businesses - but this is a salon I would not recommend or return to.
