    Texas Fajita - Yum!

Just got back from a month in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, where I was sampling (obviously) Mexican food daily. Casa México nails it! Some of the food I had in Mexico was less authentically Mexican than the food served here (lots of Canadians live and operate restaurants there). The street tacos at Casa Mexico remind me of the best street vendor tacos I had there - albeit they were only 15 pesos (77 cents) there. Also, the margaritas were better in Puerto Vallarta (but then again, the city of Tequila is a short drive away). Previous review: This is probably now the best restaurant in Two Rivers. Delectable tastes of regional Mexican dishes. It's so good I've gone twice this week. No deduction for the inconsistent service - the restaurant is new and growing pains can be expected.

First time eating here. Fantastic restaurant!! Comida muy deliciosa! Servicio impresionante! We had an amazing meal! Friendly, fast, and attentive staff, HUGE portions, GREAT queso dip, VERY GOOD margaritas! Melissa and I both had the, El Texano-Steak, chicken and shrimp grilled with onions, greens, yellow and red bell peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes over a bed of rice covered with cheese sauce served with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and Pico de Gallo. We also ordered a side of refried beans. Everything had such wonderful flavor! I feel using the word " luscious" is appropriate for describing the food that we throughly enjoyed! And BRAVO on the refried beans! The beans were 100% made from scratch; rich, chunky, delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

This is just a great location to meet with friends & family and enjoy delicious food and Margaritas!

Nice casual atmosphere with a colorful Mexican theme that adds to the overall dining experience. Restaurant has a very large dining room capable of handling large groups with ease. The menu has a large selection of dishes at reasonable prices and a nice drink menu that also has a happy hour. Prior to the meal had homemade Chips and salsa that are provided free with your meal as an appetizer. Relative to the meal, I had a fajita taco salad for $10 where entree was tasty and good value for the money. The one disappointment I had with the meal is that it came with ground beef rather than the shreded/cut pieces of beef I was expecting considering that it was a fajita style salad which prevented a fifth star for my review. Relative to the staff, they were very friendly and on top of their game with prompt service. Overall a great place to go for a dinner at a a reasonable buck. Highly recommend.

This place gets 5 for consistency. Service, food, staff all have been consistently good from the first meal I had since they opened in 2015. Authentic Mexican food in the least expected place in America, a small town in Wisconsin. It's freezing outside but this place warms you up with good drinks and food. Very family friendly also. The menu is large so there should be something for everyone. The Tacos al Pastor are our favorite. They also offer a lunch menu and vegetarian selections.

Burrito cancun 11.99 filled with smothered onion chicken and shrimp

We dined in on a Saturday at 5pm. Service was a little slow and she only checked on us once. With Mexican food it can be spicy/salty so it's nice to have refills on drinks. The chips and salsa were tasty and warm. A bit heavy on cilantro but I like that. The ambiance was nice decor was festive. A little dark and very loud. You can hear the pots and pans crashing in the kitchen. I ordered the burrito cancun and it was amazing. Rice was pretty good on the side. Prices were reasonable for the portion you get. I would recommend this place! Sidenote: two of the people in my party said the chorizo tasted funny. Not sure if it's traditional to have chorizo taste like nutmeg but it does.

I knew I was in for a treat when my friend from El Paso described Cocina Mi Familia as "legit."…read more This was a five star experience through and through. I ordered two carnitas tacos and one lengua taco all of which were on point! The meat was tender and flavorful with a green and a red hot sauce served on the side that added just the right amount of heat and a nice added boost of flavor. They were served with onion and cilantro true to the street taco experiences I grew up with in Tucson. The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless. I truly believe that things like this matter and suggest that the kitchen is also in good shape. Tye menu was a bit large and could be somewhat overwhelming so much so that I didn't bother to read everything. Besides - I already knew what I wanted. Service was friendly, prompt, and accurate. This place is an absolute MUST for when I return to Sheboygan and it receives two enthusiastic thumbs up from both me and my friend from El Paso - and both of us are experts on good Mexican food.
