Pulling up, the patio was packed! (weather is beautiful today that's why.) so when I parked, I was shocked the inside wasn't busier?! Anyway, the hostess was fabulous. She showed me the salsa bar and seated me near the bar with a menu. I realized they serve a lot of food here, so I went with the two (beef) taco combo that came with rice and beans. I spent the extra $2 and got it with tomatoes, sour cream and lettuce. The food was good and drinks were always full. I will say, they sure do love upcharging here. A lot. I was surprised. I guess that's where we're at with dining out these days, so I can't blame them. But not only did I have to pay the extra $2 for toppings, but they also charged me an extra $1.50 for soft taco shells and then a 3% credit card fee for using my card. *sighs* my bill was $24 and change before tip. Ouch. For two tacos, rice and beans with a soft drink. Anyway, I really did enjoy my time here and they have a decent selection of drinks here as well.
