This was not what I expected. I'd recommend it if you enjoy this kind of food. I got a large because the small was too small.

Food smelled amazing we walked by originally we weren't going to stop here to eat but the heavenly steak hibachi smell pulled us in. It's essentially a Mongolian bbq joint you walk in and are are seated by the hostess and your server comes to the table she was very attentive got our drink order while we were up at the food bar only thing I didn't like was the price for a large hibachi bowl it's 20 bucks per person I thought that was a little high. There are no all you can eat options like other places I've been to. The food bar has a lot of options corn, baby corn, broccoli meats they have fish imitation crab steak chicken shrimp and a few others. Then they ask your sauce I got the teriyaki and yum yum dipping sauce you get to pick if you want noodles or rice I opted for the sweet potato noodles. Food was amazing I'll post a few pictures. Other than price I enjoyed the experience I would come back for lunch sometime. read more

Stopped in for dinner after catching a movie a few weeks back. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It's your standard Mongolian bbq. Signs a plenty while you're picking out your items. Wish there was a better way to pick your sauces. Labels were hard to read and such. It would be nice if the bowls were slightly bigger for what you're paying for. My wife, her sister, her brother-in-law, and I went to this restaurant for a good Friday night dinner. We put our name in and was told it would be a hour wait. We waited for 40 minutes, while others who came in after us were seated before us, when my sister-in-law went up to check the wait time. They said it will be another 20 minute wait. That's fine since my hour hasn't been exhausted. After the hour, my sister-in-law went back up to check the wait time. They said it will be another 20 minute wait. That is totally unacceptable!!! We had words with the manager and she was mean and rude to us. I have never been treated so rudely in my life and I have spoken with a lot of managers. If you like Mongolian style food prep, Blue Pacific should be on your list! Many choices for veggies, proteins, and sauces. Decently priced as the launch bowl = $12.95 and dinner bowl = $17.95. With this being our first time, we obviously did not have the art of stacking your bowl to get all you wanted for the price paid. We had a booth close to the grill area and some people that have been here before or have visited similar establishments, probably had almost twice the volume of what we had in our bowls. Makes me think I need to hone up on my Jenga skills before our next visit. Food was good, moderately priced, and there was a bit of a wait for us on a late Sunday afternoon (about 30 minutes). At the end of the day, it was definitely worth the wait! We will being going back whenever we have a craving for Mongolian style food prep. read more

This is one of our favorite places to eat. Always get in quickly. If there's a wait and open seats at the bar, we take them with no wait. The bar tender took our drink order and gave us our bowls to fill immediately. The receipt had her listed as "Reem". She served our food, too. Everyone looked like they we having fun even tho they were very busy. There was a young man moving the sauces and raw bowls around and keeping everything straight and super organized. Very friendly lunch service, but be warned: they expect the lunch crowd on weekdays to order the serve-yourself "Mongolian Buffet." This May be a much better option, but I ordered from the menu. Lettuce wraps came with chunks of chicken cut too large for the wrap (three pieces of Romain). I ordered more Romain, (service was very accommodating) but piling on the big chunks remained a messy game of Jinga. Most disappointing was the $13.00 Salmon. Dry yet greasy? Our server had a little bit of an attitude and it took forever for our drinks and she forgot what they were (we both got Pepsi, pretty easy), but the whole place was nice otherwise! This place is such a great go to spot when you want to get fast service (cause they cook your food right in front of you!!) and still have a place to chat while eating. If you have never been here it's a fun adventure. You get to pick all the seafood, meat, veggies, toppings, sauces and species you want to put in your meal. Then they cook it on a giant stove top right in front of you. Every time I go I change it up and get different meats, seasonings and rice/noodles with my meal. Something you need to be okay with is seeing the meat sitting out, yes it's strange but remember it's cooked and will be just as delicious. I recommend going during week nights or early on a Friday night as it gets a little more packed on weekends since it's in a shopping plaza. read more

I like the idea of making your own bowl, and Blue Pacific has a pretty extensive selection of vegetables, proteins, and sauces. I just think it's overpriced for what you get - a Chinese restaurant would be able to give you a similar fried rice or lo mein for much cheaper. Some of the proteins were also overcooked. The lines also moved slowly, full of indecisive people or people trying to stack their bowls. Not necessarily the restaurant's fault but it detracts from the experience. read more

Drunk. Staggering. Under the influence. Starving. Bright lights. iPhone blaring "party and bullsh..." Wait, wait, wait. PAUSE. Back up. That was another time and a different place. Moving along. I was with a party of 8, which included two small children, and was recommended to this restaurant by someone who has never been, but had "heard" it was good. Not being one to venture out to Levis Commons very often, let's just say it took us longer than the 21 minutes estimated by Google Maps. My first impression of Blue Pacific Grill was "this is nice". Nice in that, "I-hope-this-place-is-better-than-it-actually-appears" type of nice. Not that there is anything wrong with the appearance. The restaurant is very casual, with cool blue tones. It really has a relaxed vibe. I am just the type of person who enjoys walking into a facility and being overwhelmed by the smell of delicious food, and getting an adrenaline rush every time a server passes by, just hoping and praying it's yours, as your stomach trembles in anticipation, whet with appetite. I didn't get that here. Aside from my party, I saw various couples on dates, other families, and another large party which consisted of teenagers. Overall, it's definitely a place to come and sit down and enjoy a fresh meal and talk with someone without having to scream at the top of your lungs because of loud background music and other patrons. The buffet has an extensive amount of fresh ingredients to choose from like (many, MANY more than I can remember): broccoli, black beans, bean sprouts, mushrooms, red & green peppers, onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, mandarin oranges, etc. The list goes on and on. The meats included sausage, steak, chicken, crawfish, etc. Again, the list continues. I was very impressed by the many choices. You then get to choose from various seasonings and sauces. Now this is where things get messy, literally. I mean, you would think that the garlic and onion powder that was spilled all over the counter, were lines of cocaine being carefully prepped and available for the nearest junkie to enjoy with their meal. This, paired along with multiple flavors of sauce all over the saucing station, could put one off. Not to mention the shrimp on the floor and this particular area being kind of a tight space. You will then have the mind racking choice of rice or noodles. And if rice, white, brown, or fried. And if noodles, do you want plain boring noodles, or pretty, enticing, corkscrew noodles. If it is one thing this place gives you, it's options. I settled for fried rice, and watched as my 'chef' prepared my food on the Mongolian grill. It was only then, that the aforementioned adrenaline kicked in. I must admit, I was VERY satisfied with my meal. I really didn't have a theme with my pickings and choosings. If I liked it, I tried it. So you could say my bowl had items you wouldn't normally put together, but that made my meal even more delicious. I went for a kick, and included things like cayenne and jerk in my spices. The color, the smell, the well-done SLIGHTLY charred goodness of the chicken and sausage was amazing. The taste greatly exceeded my expectations. For some odd reason, I think if I took the same dish and slapped it on a grill at home, it couldn't dare compete with Blue Pacific Grill. My only complaint was the fried rice. There was a peculiar taste to it. Although I did not like it, others did. I will be visiting again. My only suggestion would be, since the "servers" aren't technically serving, it wouldn't hurt to have them wiping down the spice/sauce area every 30 minutes or so. read more

Whomever was answering the phone tonight was awfully rude. I wanted to place an order for pickup but the older lady answering the phones acted as if she couldn't be bothered to take a to-go order over the phone. I told them never mind and took my business and money elsewhere. You would think in a time like this that locally owned businesses would want you to frequent their establishment and bring in customers. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this place. This is a seafood build-your-own stir fry place. First impression was a little bit of surprise. This was a Friday afternoon, and there was just one table of people sitting in the restaurant. I had heard some good things about the place, so my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot. We both had waters as our beverage. They were large hard plastic cups with "fast food type" flimsy plastic lids and a straw... Kinda cheesy looking. Not sure about that. I ordered the Chipotle Lime Shrimp Tacos... I can't resist anything that has "chipotle" in the name, and she just built her own stir fry. She enjoyed her stir fry. My tacos were great as well, messy, but satisfying. We sat out on the patio... If you know me, I can't resist a good patio on a nice day. The patio was nice to people watch at the lovely Levis Commons. The waitress did not come check on us at our table very much, and we were constantly craving more water. Seems odd with just one other table of people... I would have to say the food: 4.5 stars, but the mood/atmosphere being kind of weird and the service being slow: 2 stars. Hence, I give a 3. My wife and i decided to stop here while in town. It was a sunday about noon. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They asked if it was our first time there, which it was, then explained the various options. We both had been to other mongolian grills so we were familiar with the overall concept and process. They had a good selection of vegetables and fruit, including mangos and pineapple. The protein section also had a good variety including scallops, salmon, whitefish shrimp. The crawfish listed on the website wasnt shown or how to ask to get it. We did forget to ask our server. However they were out of the sliced beef. The cubed beef pieces were overall a bit large, about an inch square or so. Honestly they would have been better half the thickness. The seasoning and sauce section were also well stocked, with the added touch of tasting spoons. This is a great feature. The only complaint was due to space, all vegetables and protiens were stacked two deep. This means you had to reach over items to get to the back row. Without trying to pack the bowl, it was still impossible not to have items fall into other items. Small trays would be a helpful feature. Another nice touch compared to other mongolian grills is the rice or noodles are added by the cooks. They simply ask your preference. You can mix or match them also. This saved space in the bowls. Both our dishes were cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed our dishes. The flavors were good overall. Overall our experience and price was comparable to other mongolian grills that we have been to. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking behind levi commons street, with a nice walkway between the buildings. We will likely visit again when we are in the area. read more

Lots of choices of vegetables and sauces and wait staff is always friendly, only downside is they usually have long waits after 4:30 in the afternoon. At 7:07pm on 20 September 2019, I had the $14.99 bowl. First time their but not the first time at a Mongolian bbq style restaurant. I didn't see at first all the options for noodles and other add ins for the dish. This place does not know what udon noodles are or they got it wrong in each of my two bowls. I had spaghetti noodles in my dish, not udon noodles. Having had fresh made udon noodles in a restaurant in Japan when I lived there for three years, spaghetti noodles were not it. As we pulled into a parking space right in front of Blue Pacific a young woman was leaving screaming and throwing a fit. That should have been a sign to not eat here, but we laughed and went inside. Immediately I noticed many warning signs while standing at the hostess stand. There were about 6 tables of guests, every other table was dirty with dishes and not cleaned. I waited about 3-5 minutes at the hostess stand while she checked people out at the hostess stand (strange). Sure enough she said we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. She took us over to the table she just cleaned and we had to ask her to wipe it down with a dry rag, the table and booth were soaking wet. She asks what we'd like to drink, I stumble through the disgusting drink menu. It had food, was wet, and all the pages were warped from water because it wasn't laminated. We order our drinks and wait for our food bowls. The young lady brings us our food bowls (two completely different sizes, but she insisted they were the same, we laughed. We head up to the food bar to fill our bowls. The bean sprouts were BROWN and completely bad, other veggies looked directly from a can. There was good all over the ground, the sauce area was a COMPLETE disaster. Please see my pictures! The clean spoons had dirty spoons thrown in them. Sauce cups everywhere. It was clear no one cleaned all day. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get the food and wait for it to be cooked. We weren't upset about that, only the HUGE mess. We sit down and still no drinks. No water, nothing. There appeared to only be two women that were acting as hostess, waitress, and bussers. Honestly, they should have no problem with that. There were maybe 6 tables and all they have to do is take care of drinks. I witnessed three of the six tables get up and hunt them down to get their checks or drinks. The girls were often texting at the hostess stand or texting in the rear service area near the restrooms. We patiently waited 5-10 min after sitting down with our hot food to flag her down and inquire about our drink order. You'd think seeing two people sitting at a table with no beverages and not eating would be a clue, but I guess not. She admitted she had forgot, and couldn't even remember what we ordered. The food was ok, I was honestly just worried about getting sick from it after seeing the conditions of the restaurant. This was my first and last time here.
