During a crisis, my husband and I asked to see the therapist who had helped us before. We were told she wasn't available, with no real effort made to fit us in. Instead, they offered to book us with someone new, but only after we paid an outstanding balance we never knew existed because we'd never received a bill. This wasn't the first issue. Months earlier, I received an automated message saying all my individual appointments would be canceled unless I resolved a separate billing issue within 24 hours. This was after years as a client, always paying on time, and even patiently waiting while they fixed their own error of double-charging both my insurance and me. For a practice built on care and understanding, the behind-the-scenes treatment of clients shows very little of either.

She's disrespectful, dishonest, and demeaning to me and has made clear that fathers' are not important to children. She even gives lip service to Christian values while making a mockery of what they actually stand for. If you're thinking of taking your child here for help (particularly if you're a father), don't. These people talk sweetly and gently while causing your child long-term harm. I don't want another person to suffer the way this clinic has caused me under the malevolent guidance they offer.
