From the person who took my call and got us scheduled for an hour later and who talked up Dr. Wagoner, who had an opening since his PCP was not available, to the front desk checking us in and the MA who was so efficient and pleasant, and then Dr. Wagoner herself. I can't begin to thank her and her team there for quickly recognizing how sick my son was and for orchestrating an amazing and fast outpatient workup and even getting him directly admitted so we could avoid having to sit in a busy ED for hours. She and the team organized getting him into a CT immediately and even coordinated with the Lab so that he only had to get poked once for an IV and they drew the necessary labs at the same time! Dr. Wagoner called us after the CT to say she was reviewing it with a radiologist and would coordinate any next steps that may be needed and call me back. She was ALL OVER IT! And kept us updated and reassured. As a worried mom, watching my kiddo get this sick for the first time ever, I am so grateful for her help and for the reassurance and efficiency. My son was hospitalized at Providence St. Vincent's Pediatric floor for 3 days and though it is not something I ever want him (or us) to go through again, he is out of the hospital now and nearly back to normal. I know it can't always work out this well, but it felt like everything was a well oiled machine and this Dr. and clinic team took care of our son and family so well. I highly highly recommend them. This was not a good comparison because when you go to the DMV or call or contact them, they DMV will help you. But if you are having a serious problem and need help from 'your care team' at Providence you would be better off going to the DMV for help. They actually treat you, an actual patient of the clinic, like a cold-calling salesperson trying to sell them something they do not want or need. They have no time to deal with your medical problems. Providence used to have the best care. Something happened. ..... Finally day of doctor appointment with physician's assistant came - almost 2 weeks after serious and debilitating health issue. PA arrived 40 minutes after appointment time. The PA said what the person told me on the phone was wrong and started arguing with me and upset I sought alternative health care. PA said when you call in you call in to a call center somewhere in the country. That is new. PA was also flustered and wasn't listening to what I was saying. She said she was running late and didn't have anymore time for me (she was in the office for 15 minutes maybe). I did get a referral and some imaging, but she didn't address the entirety of what my problem was. Hoping the referral will help me. I would advise people to go somewhere besides a Providence clinic for health care, unless you are in perfect health and expect to be forever. They can deal with that.

My three‑star rating is based entirely on the front‑office staff and the service they provide. I've been spoken to in a condescending manner during check‑in, and the overall attitude often feels like they're annoyed to be helping patients. You can't make appointments online, and most of my calls to schedule one involved being on hold for 15-45 minutes. The explanation is always that they're understaffed or training new people, but at some point the clinic needs to hire more staff or implement an automated scheduling system. Patients shouldn't have to spend that much time on hold. The check‑in process is also frustrating. You're required to stand at a sign until staff call you forward, even when no one else is waiting. On one visit, I stood there for seven minutes while three staff members behind the glass talked and laughed before acknowledging me. An elderly woman came in after me, struggling to stand even with assistance, and they still made her wait about five minutes with no one else in line. If the level of care from the front desk matched the quality of the doctors, this would easily be a five‑star clinic. I've had a few positive interactions with staff, but it shouldn't be a gamble every time you walk in. I truly like my doctor, but I've seriously considered going elsewhere because of these ongoing issues.

First pcp left the clinic and solicited me to follow him during an exam, akward to say the least. I presented the exact same set of symptoms to my second pcp at this same location for over TWO YEARS and never improved or really did much. My medical records where not kept current with prescriptions and conditions diagnosed by other doctors. Blood labs were incomplete, did not test free testosterone for diagnosing hypogonadism for example. when a lab came in low my pcp said "I dont know what that means" and was never followed up on. Im leaving some details out but I got this vibe that one pcp was protecting the other. It was really weird and triggering. I no longer trust anything with Legacy Health and never will but especially this clinic.

Pretty terrible clinic. As most Providence clinics are. Certain staff/providers make it a mostly…read moreregrettable experience. Some are okay. But now to make matters worse, Providence has removed all incoming call reception from the clinics and routed all calls to a call center somewhere. There has not been a single time since they made this change that I or anyone else in my family has been able to make it through the call queue in under 20 minutes. It's usually closer to 30. This is not an exaggeration. We went from being able to actually call our doctor's team and talking to someone in one or two minutes at the most, to now having to listen to the entire hold music menu twice over every time we call, and keep in mind that we're calling our doctor about our health, so sometimes timeliness matters. This is an unmitigated disaster and whoever made this decision should not only be fired, but should be permanently blacklisted from ever working anywhere ever again, because it shows either extreme incompetence or extreme hostility toward patients, or perhaps both. And if you thought mychart was a good alternative, think again. They also offsited message screening to some centralized location so not only does it take forever to hear back, but you're usually not even talking to your own clinic. The whole system is broken and it would be better to just let Providence go under than to let it languish in eternal decline, dragging their patients down with them.

Beverly has been the most attentive to my specific needs and will often go above and beyond to…read moresupport me and my health. She acts as my primary care doctor and has done research to help with things that other primary care doctors might have shied away from. There is only one area where I could see that someone might consider an opportunity for improvement and that's scheduling. I believe that it's Beverly's absolute empathy for her patients and her willingness to listen that causes her to get behind in the schedule and I think that's a non issue due to the level of care being provided. The wait is pretty short, but can be extended depending on that day (of course).
