When it came time to get the painting done, it got weird. He (the same guy that did the quote and the mud work)would come, tell me that he had to do other quotes but would be back, and then id not see him until the following day. The paint I chose didn't seem to cover, and he told me that he would need a lot more to get the coverage, he also said that certain colors are thinner etc... since I had never painted a room, I trusted his word(my fault) after a week of him not painting, coming and going I decided to call the owner, not something I wanted to do, but the work wasn't getting done. The owner showed up and proceeds to talk down to the guy, who ended up being her son. Then started in on the colors I chose and wanting reasons for the colors, and the brand of paint. I finally said that id like to get the job finished, and since it was paid for what does she recommend. The suggested a different brand of paint ( that ended up being very expensive, but also nice colors), she gave a time limit to get the job finished. The following Monday I had the paint here, he painted the rooms in less than 12 hours, not letting the dark maroon color cure. When I asked him if he was coming back to do a 2nd coat, he said he was done, and he walked out. He left all his equipment , except the the radio that he was blasting creed from. I never heard back from them again. Both colors of paint were not cured between coats, and months after the job was finished anything was left leaning against the wall, it would stick, and peel off. I had a piece of art hanging up and when I moved the art, large pieces of paint peeled off, and continued to do so. I had to remove all the paint and repaint. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with someone that I hired to do a job for me.

She knew that I did not want people in the house much due to Covid so she and her son and daughter came and completed the job in two days. Most importantly, they did a GREAT job. They covered everything, left no scraps around nor any adhesive on window sills etc (It was a very messy removal for them - a LOT of adhesive ). We are older and couldn't move some of the furniture - Judy's son helped move things, reconnected the dryer vent, etc. We are very satisfied and would recommend this company.

Throughout the work, he communicated with us frequently advising us what was happening and what would be done next. He worked with us all the way through, helping us make the necessary decisions that we needed to make and purchase the things that we agreed to purchase. Jim works with a group of small, family owned subcontractors who have the same work ethic as Jim. They all were fantastic. The work was great, finished on time and in budget. We didn't want to replace them with generic windows from a manufacturer so he took out the rotten sashes and repaired them at his workshop, replacing the rotten wood with clean new wood. He even repainted them in a color so close to the original, it's pretty much indistinguishable to my very picky eye. His work was careful and innovative -- it was a really difficult repair -- and he left the place completely tidy. Dann also rebuilt our back outdoor stairs and did a tidy, solid job of it. His rates are reasonable and he's quick, a great communicator and easy to be around. I contacted this company when I discovered that after removing a wall that the ceiling tiles…read more didn't match on either side of the giant gouge in the ceiling where the wall once was. Dave gave me a fair quote to make a faux wood beam that would look like it was crown molding that would not only cover the gouge, but also blend the two different tiles seamlessly. He not only was quick, but his craftsmanship was amazing and exceeded my high expectations. To top it off, when it was all said and done, it ended up being $15 less than he quoted because he used some leftover materials that he had laying around! A++++
