I replaced the modem with one of my own, and I still lose my connection, which tells me it's on their end. I suspect the cable infrastructure is substandard, and/or their servers are garbage. Desperately seeking a new provider now. I need the internet to do my job. Why do I keep finding myself at the library, using their internet connection, when I am paying a premium for high speed internet in my home? I would not recommend Comcast, or Xfinity to anyone, ever.

The second thing is that they charge the same as their competition (3.2 megabytes per second vs 100+ megabytes per second). The competition also has a tier system for how much you pay. CenturyLink charges you the same as folks getting 40 Mbps. The third thing is they charge $200 to cancel unless you suffer their service for two years. I got stuck with them by ordering DirecTV while living out of state and this was the bundle they offered. I just spent most of my tax return to sever ties with them. I just HATE to pay for garbage or pay $200 and getting nothing for it.

Steve told me about a WiFi adapter to get at Walmart and plug it in the back and voila, I now have wireless WiFi connection! Reasonably priced and fixed in a timely manner. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Took my daughter's computer in for her problem and got it fixed as well. HIghly recommend them!!!
