I would've had a great experience with no complaints at this place if it wasn't for a lady Abby talking to me really disrespectful and rude over the phone. I get people have bad days. I signed up for a hybrid class. Was told the class was 8-4:30, I get there only to be told the "skills" part starts at 1:00. I drove 2 hours and 20 minutes total, wasting money, gas & time. Apparently their secretary needs a refresher about their courses timelines. Do they truly not know what they offer? Makes me wonder what other information they leave out. Inconvenient and aggravating. read more

The class materials and equipment were new, the video presentations were suitable for the learning experience and the instructor gave us adequate breaks! I have taken their class twice in the last 2 1/2 years. Last Saturday being the most recent. I'm very impressed by how thorough they are with their training. They make It interesting and entertaining while making sure you leave with all the knowledge you need to feel comfortable, should you ever need to perform CPR. I highly recommend them. read more

After taking CPR/First Aid classes for nearly 18 years at other places, I have to say this was the best!!!Abby is an awesome teacher who is also a Paramedic. She made the class enjoyable and very informative. It was the first time I felt confident that I could help someone if need be. Shortly after the class, while I was on vacation on a beach in So. Cal. I actually got to put the training to use. Came upon a passed out lady on the beach, I jumped right in and helped. Luckily, a pulse was found and this ended well. I even gave the young lifeguard some pointers. Paramedics arrived quickly which was wonderful...! It turned out well this time. Alcohol, pills and sun don't mix very well. She was lucky. I highly recommend Rescue Training Institute for excellent training, pleasant learning environment, and wonderful instructors like Abby! She has the best sense of humor and so much knowledge since she is a Paramedic. Thank you, Abby for the confidence I feel now. read more

Excellent beyond 5 stars - organized a group so RTI would come to our community so young girls could get exposure on what to do for babysitting experience and others could get CPR, AED and first aid trained for personal reasons. Our instructor, Abby Wik, was beyond what we expected for the day. The class was informative with humor involved and every age group said they learned so much that day. The pace was perfect - not too fast and she did not move on until everyone had a grasp. I did a lot of research on local groups and am thrilled that RTI was an excellent choice. Highly recommend to everyone from age 12 and beyond to get familiar with this class. Well worth the money and time. read more

Went expecting to be overwhelmed with "how to" and left feeling GREAT believing that I could save a life if I had to...that is, if the life could be saved. Abby made the class fun and interesting. She knew her stuff and taught it well enough that even someone like me...who hasn't had to "learn" anything new for years now...could walk out feeling confident that I knew what I was supposed to do and could do it if I had to. THAT says A LOT!!! I HIGHLY recommend taking the training from Abby Wik. The RTI process also worked as one would expect. No disappointments here. read more
