A little bit of a drive from Baltimore, but worth every mile. This place is located in a nondescript warehouse type building that is surprisingly spacious when you enter. The so-so - the building was freezing, the waitress said it was because there were only one set of vents for heating and cooling and they were about 30' in the air... lots of people with their coats on. - The cornbread had an odd taste that my wife called "dish soap flavor". Asked the waitress if there was lavender or other strong ingredient but she had no idea and said there's a new pastry chef. - The menu says "1/2 chicken" but seriously, it could easily be confused for a quail... A few years ago, I opened a 98 Beaucastel CDP at a dinner party that had been in my cellar for years. It was stunning. The next day I went to Cranberry and found one remaining 1.5L bottle of it - on sale (this was several years post-release). I saw plenty of other historical items there just today, just waiting for a treasure hunter to snag. Check their web site before you go - www.cranberryliquors.com, there is almost always a 20% off coupon for 750ml bottles (and they have a 10/15% mixed/full case discount also). A few years ago, I'd have given them 6 stars, because there were a string of deeply knowledgable wine geeks staffing the store. I could literally walk in with a menu, and walk out with a dozen brilliant matches they they knew I'd like. And I could special order just about anything. There's been turnover, and the current crew is certainly nice ... but just not operating at the same level of knowledge. I have had a few issues trying to order stuff in. I had a small cooler so I was able to easily transport the unopened left over beers back home. So this distributer is in a strip mall with ample parking. It's not very big and neither is the selection. I decide to get a domestic since that was all that was cold in their small fridge section. Holy batman this beer is expensive! I paid 25 or 26 for this beer, including a 50 cent charge for it being cold. Really? They were pounders but still, expensive in comparison to other places. Maybe they have no competition. The clerk was nice, but also didn't offer to carry my purchase out. Chivalry is dead in the distributors. Giving a 3 for at least being open and providing the service.

They aren't open every day except for Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are thinking about going on a Thursday Friday or Monday be aware those dates are by appointment only. They are also available to host private events. Looks can be deceiving, when I arrived it looked like it was someone's home. Come to find out it actually is the owners of the Vineyard's home and they have a tasting room attached. The parking lot is very small and only able to accommodate a few cars. I recommend car pooling if you can. They have a very nice patioSet up with fire pits and heat lamps that I would be willing to bet would be nice to sip wine and have a conversation. It was a little bit too cold for my taste when I went on a Sunday in November so I chose to go inside. The tasting room is small and due to Covid restrictions they have limited seating. Mask use is mandatory here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines that I have. I don't know too much about wines Oh I opted to have a tasting. For seven dollars I got six samples of wine to choose from. After sampling them all I made a decision to purchase a bottle before I left. Definitely a great experience and I recommend anyone who enjoys wine to make a trip.
