Usually this is a go to for above average bar food. The last 2 visits have been a disappointment. They have lovely fresh cut fries but for some reason recently they are not salting the fries. When they arrive they are at the cooler temp and salt will not stick. Also today I ordered a vodka tonic. The tonic was flat. I had a steak quesadilla and while it was good the salsa was old bitter and fermenting. Along with these issues it seems there is a lot of nasty gossip at the bar from the staff. Over hearing this while dining is unpleasant and makes me want to avoid this atmosphere. For now I am giving this establishment a pass. read more

We went for breakfast around 830 am. The place was ice cold inside, we all had to leave our jackets on. The waitress had terrible customer service matched with a rotten attitude. Worst service ever!!!!! Not our first time here but keep coming back cause of other people. We asked for another minute to look at the menu, we got 15-20 minutes. Food is always subpar. Why are you serving a meat puck in my food instead of corned beef in a Reuben?! If it was explained to me I would have not ordered it. None of the items we were served was even "good". We asked for our check and the waitress never showed back up!! So I walked inside to ask for our check and she said she thought she already brought them. Um ok. Today we were looking for a breakfast stop. Casey's did not disappoint! We've had lunch and dinner at Casey's (Highly recommend the cowboy burger!) We stopped on a Sunday @ 10:00ish and were greeted immediately, ordered and served food quickly. Waiter was pleasant and efficient. I accidentally ordered hash browns instead of home fries and they were quick to accommodate my error. Will always make a point to stop at Casey's!! read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. There is clearly a management issue at this place. The staff is minimal and not trained. There is no customer service. Food is expensive and subpar. Additionally, it is hazardous to get in and out of the building. My elderly father tripped twice. Like many businesses in oil city, it has so much potential as a roadside cafe but completely misses the mark. Shame on whoever the manager is to leave untrained staff to fend for themselves. We came in for a quick bite after a long journey up north. We ordered a burger and tenders. Now, we could have gone through a drive thru and given a big corporation our money, but we loke to support the small mom and pop shop. HOWEVER, there was one table in the dining room and two on the patio. After we got our drinks, It took 45 minutes for us to receive our food. Several tables walked in after us and got their food before we did. Our server never talked to us again after giving our drinks, just kept running to the side room and dinging in other orders. They apparently had a large to go order and could not handle both the dining room and a to go order?? Where is the manager on a Saturday night to oversee that the staff is supported and the kitchen is keeping up. Do not waste your time or money, just keep driving. read more

Let me start with- I've given Casey's multiple chances; but after 5 or so times of leaving unhappy, I figure it's time for a review. Every time I have visited Casey's, you can tell the staff is overwhelmed. This isn't a new "we're short handed due to the pandemic" thing, this has been the case for years. It doesn't matter if the place is packed or if there are 5 people dining in, everyone seems exhausted, and this leads to long wait times, incorrect orders, or missed check-ins for drinks, forcing you to go to the bar to get a refill. A recent experience was with a large group, and while dining in, we had to wait about an hour for a grilled cheese for our daughter. She doesn't really have the patience to wait for her food, so this was not a great experience for us or her. It took another 30 minutes to get our food, so we had them box it up so we could leave as there was no way we were going to be able to stick around with the group and eat. New Year's Eve 2020, we ordered a large order of wings to go, placed well ahead of time. We scheduled the order for pickup, and we ended up waiting another 45 minutes to get the food. We received some wrong flavors with this, too. The most recent experience, and the final straw; I called in to place a to go order. I was placed on hold, and after 6 minutes of waiting, I hung up. I called back and the line was busy. Did this for about 5 minutes and decided to just go down and order. After I arrived, I called in again and the phone was still off the hook. There were 4 customers in the restaurant. I was asked if I had a to go order, to which I replied that I tried to call in, was placed on hold and never helped. I let them know their phone is probably off the hook, which they verified. The bartender explained that they had a bad day and she had to get paperwork done. So I waited another 3 or 4 minutes before someone took my order. I placed my order, stepped away for 5 minutes and came back to have a drink and wait for the food. I paid my bill, grabbed our food and left. Once I arrived home, I discovered that I was given the wrong order. Fortunately we could make it work, but it's not what I ordered. I did call to let them know we had the wrong food and that someone else is probably not going to be happy since they also were not getting their order. Someone called me back and offered to bring the correct food, and provide us with a gift certificate, which I declined. Honestly, this was the last straw and the thought of ordering food again just to be disappointed made me decline the offer, but I am glad that they tried to make it right. When you do get the right order in a timely fashion, the food is pretty decent, but the inconsistency of service and delivery is enough for me to say this is a "no-go". If you want to roll the dice, that's up to you. read more

To start this review off, this should NOT be on your list to go to. We ordered 45 dollars worth of food from here. Definitely not again. The food is expensive but the ingredients are cheap. The Italian sub only had a small portion of ham and too much lettuce, mayo, and tomato. The fries as too soggy and not fresh at all. The bacon on the "Bacon cheeseburger" was burnt and the burger was a little raw. Please do not get food here unless you want to loose money and get awful food. I have been going to this place for years, ( 10+) and I must say it has not changed much. It is a local watering hole for the locals, and I think I see the same people there every time I have been there. Not a bad thing...but none the less, the people are friendly and the food is pretty good. They offer a great breakfast around deer season, and you will see nothing but orange and camo in the parking lot. They offer crab legs all you can eat occasionally and they are pretty good. The burgers are make to order, along with typical fryer food. The beer selection on tap is usually the same , bush, bush light and maybe Coors. The bartenders/waitresses are very nice and never let your cup run dry. All in all..a good place to get a warm start on the day with breakfast, or to take in a steeler or penguin game if your in the area for a weekend. read more

I would not eat here because I walk the bike trail behind the building and if you were to see the view behind the building you would lose your appetite. It is a filthy dirty greasy mess. I have noticed on more than one occasion their male patrons prefer to pee outside instead of using their bathrooms. I don't know personally which one is more gross their bathrooms or their customers? read more

The service is good they are very quick at making food and still there food is great I recommend you try Casey's if you haven't already
