We stopped in Sunday before Labor Day. We got there a few minutes before opening and walked around the perimeter to see the bike trail. There's ample outdoor seating and bike racks. Once it opened, the lines grew. We were very happy to have gotten there early. We did a flight (Kolsch, Kohatu Smash IPA, New England IPA, and Muddy Trail). Everything was delicious. The ABV level is very manageable (nothing over 6.2%) and perfect for after a hike or bike ride. The Kolsch tasted traditional and was quite refreshing. The Kohatu Smash was my favorite, good color and easy drinking. They offer crowlers to go. There are also wine options. Given it was Sunday, the bloody Mary was a popular choice. Right now, they offer a trail plate in order to permit on-site consumption.

Stopped here on my way to Erie. Nice secluded location, good vibe and decor on the inside. Tried the Porter and Gose (Prickly Pear & Key Lime) - both were excellent. Friendly service, but they do need to get some glassware as the beer is served in plastic cups. No food, but they did have a nice food truck outside, and it appears to be dog friendly on the big outdoor patio.

Pretty spot in the woods with great beer . The outside has a beautiful ambiance with twinkle lights, picnic tables, trees , and Forest. Husband and i enjoyed the blueberry Hefeweizen, witbier, New England ipa, and muddy trails beer. I was surprised and happy with the variety of beer styles.

My husband and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon on our way back from McKean County. I was 29 degrees, sunny and breezy and we knew the only way we would be able to stay is if they allowed us to sit outside on their patio with our dogs. My husband went in to check and sure enough, we could stay! We chose to park it at the high top table. My husband went in and ordered - I got the Vanilla Porter and he got a Bloody Mary (only served on Sundays). The porter was much lighter than I expected however it had strong notes of vanilla and contained the dark color of a typical porter. Though I am not a bloody mary fan, this one was way beyond any I had ever had before. It blew me out of the water! I was actually very intrigued being that the vodka they used was from my home town, Lititz. I had a nice conversation with the owners wife about how she found it and why it was chosen. It was really neat seeing a piece of my home here in the middle of Cooks Forest! My second beverage was the Hot Buttered Rum and my husband had the Brown Ale. The warm mug and cinnamon stick helped take the chill off. It was sweet but I wish it had been slightly creamier. The flavor was still good. We enjoyed our interactions with the employees. Besides my conversation with the owners wife, the other bartender came outside to say hi to the pups and spent 5-10 minutes just talking to us. She was very friendly and I was impressed with the overall service of this place. This brewery was located right next to the Route 6 Rail Trail. It makes for a convenient stop when biking or walking through. They have bike racks, picnic tables, a patio space, lights strung above the picnic area and you are allowed to bring in your own food to munch on. They also list that they have Food Trucks during the warmer months which makes this place even more appealing. I have a feeling we will be back sometime in the future. The drinks were good, prices were reasonable, employees were extremely friendly, and the setting was very family/pet friendly. P.S. Now I know the best Bloody Mary includes Lititz Springs Vodka and Pittsburgh Pickle Company Bloody Mary mix.

One of my must stops when I'm passing through the area for a camping trip, a nice laid back brewery with great bartenders and brews. The two times I've been here the menu has been totally different beer wise, right now the Oktoberfest is where it's at! Food is a bit or miss here so that would be my only complaint, food trucks are here on occasion so make sure to check out there Facebook page before trying to dine here, also they have one of the coolest outdoor areas with pet friendly spots. Give this place a shot!

Super cool location, and an amazing tap list. Brewer was a Homebrewer for 7+ years. Establishment opened in June 2020. Super cool patio eighth next to a local bike trail. Also offers wine and limited local cocktails.

Great beer, great atmosphere! One of our favorite places to stop either on the way to or from our camp up north.

I will say I wish the bun was smaller, it is just too much bread. The onion rings were great. The sugar pretzel was good could use a little more seasoning on it though.

I never could understand why people eat outside in downtown places where cars drive by them 5 feet away. The beers were OK, nothing really special but OK. They have a little bar outside so getting a refill was quick and easy. The don't serve any kind of hard spirits. My wife isn't a beer drinker so one of the bartenders at the inside bar mixed her up a drink with seltzer and something else(tea) which she found to be quite tasty, so i tipped her generously for having the ambition to please a customer. Where they fell down IMO was their pizza. It just wasn't very good. We had several versions of their Sicilian to choose from. The cheese was generous, but the crust was doughy and heavy, the sauce was flavorless, and the toppings were very stingy. A big piece of Sicilian pizza with 3 slices of pepperoni is not good. I checked out their menu and was stunned at the prices they are getting for those pizzas. WAY overpriced. Of course i didn't have to pay for them since it was a party, but knowing what their pizza is like i would never go back there and pay those prices. The wings were just OK, pretty mediocre. Parking is a joke. No where near enough spots for the size of the place. Overall it was just OK, i would not return. There are better places for the same or less money.

For beers, we had the Eureka and Dulachan. Pretty good IPAs. For food, note that their menu on the website is not up to date. I had my heart set on the spätzle, and they didn't have it. We went several times during our stay. We had: Smelt appetizer - very good. Had it twice. Hot sausage pizza - make sure you like spicy - very hot! Pepperoni pizza - a bit spicy for pep pizza, but still good. Awesome crust! *They will split a pizza half and half if you ask. Cubano - incredible. The pork belly makes it fantastic. Seafood pasta - it's not on their website right now, so I don't remember the exact name, but it was delicious. I just wish they'd serve a piece of bread with it. Peppered kettle chips - Yum! Cheesecake - varieties change often, but if they have the rootbeer, get it! The base cheesecake is incredible, so get whatever flavor appeals to you. Downsides: I do not recommend the fries. These were shoestring fries and tasted like frozen ones. The acoustics are horrible. If you want to talk to anyone, don't go when it's even a little busy.
