The representatives are nice, the loan process is easy. That gets a 5 star-ONLY! Yes, I was in a medical bind and car bind. I applied and was approved, Great. Got a higher amount and opted in for longer months which was supposed to have higher payments & lower interest. That is not happening. I am paying $628.54 a month with only $25.78 being applied to principle. I have been paying this for going on a year and my balance is still $3,844.53. THIS IS A PROBLEM! To date. I have paid over $4,399!!! No i did not have a $5k loan if that opens your eyes at all!! I have a problem with how interest is being applied. I am working hard as heck to keep my medical treatments ( which insurance does Not cover) Also I am NOT able to access my customer agreement as says password protected and I did NOT place a password on any document from them. No banks like that they submit an authorization from your debit card, then reverse it, then submit an ACH! (LOOPHOLE ON INTEREST) I do NOT approve or like it! You are NOT ABLE TO REMOVE YOUR DEBIT CARD! The interest they add is the next day. Cash 1 does not have any documents online like other loan places where you can see how your payment are being applied, just a screen with 5 previous dates. I used to get emails for the receipt, now they just send a blank email saying you have funds available. NO THANK YOU! Does not show your balance going down. I have requested several times to have my customer agreement emailed and they have rejected stating they sent it before, yes you did and you also put a password protect where I am not able to access it. I am taking the documents in to be reviwed with a professional. I was supposed to have 18 months, I am going on a year and only paid under a $100. If I did NOT accept the 18 mo ths I would have been just about done paying this off. Never have I missed a payment! This is a MAJOR problem and by looking at the BBB complaints, I feel awful I did not do my homework 1st on this company because I was in a bad medical bind! The only thing I am able to access because I did save the 4 documents emailed, is the for instance page know before you get a loan. Why that's included, I have no idea, the loan is taken out. I tried emailing from their contact page and get a blank screen that just says close...I PLEAD TO ANYONE THAT READS MY REVIEW- ALL OF OUR SITUATIONS IN LIFE ARE DIFFERENT, CAN BE TRAUMATIC & SCARY, BUT DO MORE RESEARCH, GET TERMS AND SEE IF THEY ARE SUITABLE FOR YOU IN THE LONG RUN. GETTUNG A LOAN FOR A QUICK FIX ENDS UP BEING TERRIFYING IN THE LONG RUN! I HAVE A DIFFERENT LOAN COMPANY WITH MORE MONEY TAKEN OUT, LESS INTEREST AND ONLY HAVE 4 PAYMENTS LEFT TO GO AND GOT THEM AT THE SAME TIME! THAT SAYS ALOT! I took a loan out because I needed money. Six days ago. Why would I take out a loan at a 340% interest rate if I was going in six days? That makes absolutely no sense most loans in my lifetime of 45 years. Have I ever seen due six days after you take it out! It is typically due in 30 days from the date in which you take the loan out. This store location at Cheyenne & Rainbow has been my go to Loan Company for nearly 10 years, the staff there have been great! They are always friendly and willing to help you with whatever lending services they can offer to you. Gabby opened my first account there & Amanda (the previous Manager) was always there with all the answers to my problems. Over the years I have built a relationship, and when times have been hard, they would extend and increase my credit amount over time as long as make my payments. I have always kept in contact with the staff, keeping them breast of my employment issues and changes if any. Last year 2020, WOW... that was the biggest change, because of the COVID-19 pandemic this past year has been the worst. Since March 2020, I have been unemployed (like some many others) and like all loans they still must be paid. The staff here remain friendly and helpful, as much as they can. They understand the problems we face as customers who cannot work under these severe conditions which may cause great harm to those of us with under lying medical conditions. Recently my Mom passed away, and I spoke to the new manager Letty, who was very understanding of my situation. Because of her efforts I was able to fly back home to Hawaii to bury my Mom, who had passed away in her sleep. I have nothing but respect, high praise and my loyalty to this store and their staff. This place is a JOKE! Went online to check out their requirements before going into the store. Everything sounded fair especially the part where it says "we accept ALL credit types" So i go to the nearest location, fill out all the paper work to then be told "we can't offer you a loan because of your banks unsatisfactory history" ummm okay either i'm crazy or they're stupid and i'm going to go with my second opinion. I'm not the one to complain or be known as a "Karen" But in this instance I have to take my time out of my day to write this review. I've NEVER in my life have been treated the way I was treated in this CASHONE by women working in a place of buisness. It was like they were back in high school again and they were the popular girls in school bulling the poor kid. First off, they made it ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE for me to get a loan. Which I didn't understand because I've been working at the same company for over 2 years and have all the forms I needed to receive a loan. First off one of the girls that was working(Yvette) told me I needed to have my full name, address, and the statement that I was receiving direct deposit in my bank account ALL ON ONE SCREEN. Which was almost impossible to get off one screen to take a snapshot.. So I had to go home, (because there computer doesn't let you log into skylight netspend website supposivly) go home and get onto my desktop so the screen was larger and I was able to do so at home. Took a picture of the screen and went back to cash one. Wasn't able to use that screenshot because it was a picture of a computer screen. Then I needed proof of address. Which is fine cool. I have a bill from NV energy. Which was dated 12/8/2020. She starts to tell me it was too old. I was in there on 1/09/2021. Well I haven't received my bill for January yet ‍ like what do you want me to do.....anyways Mind you I'm getting a loan because times are rough and we get my fiancé's daughters on the weekends. And we have no food in the house. So I asked for a $200 loan. And what does these girls do... they start making fun of me because it's only $200 and I'm going threw all this hassle. I don't know if they think I can't hear them behind the glass or what. But I sure in hell heard them disrespect me because I needed to get money to feed my kids. I was furious, embarresed, and my self esteem went down to nothing. So I got them all the forms they needed to recieve a loan. Supposivly they couldn't take my unemployment as a type of income for some reason so I wasn't able to add that to my application. Needless to say, all they were able to approve me for was 65$ I was pissed, so I took the money and walked out. I will NEVER go to that store location again! And I will not refer anyone to do so either. These girls need some customer service training and learn how to emphasize with their customers or shouldn't be working in a customer service based job. I started getting loans from Cash 1 and they were great from the beginning up until the Covid virus started and I was furloughed from work. I had never been late on a payment out of all the loans that I had gotten from them, after my unemployment started coming in I called and made two large payments and that wasn't good enough for them they didn't want to work with us through the virus like every other company in the state has been doing therefore I wouldn't go there it seems great until they wanna make you pay more and more and not give you a break through these hard times everybody's having. I would have given them a five star rating until the last month therefore the one star is because they were so negligent and not helpful at all when all families are going through pure hell during the covid virus pandemic. read more

Never again will I waste my time with them. Applied on-line. Called to get pre-approved. Was told I was pre approved and got an email saying so Was told to bring in documents to local store. * Government/State Issued ID * Proof of Income: your most current bank statement or pay stub (Since I own my own business and am self employed I was told to bring last 90 days bank transactions to show income) * Proof of Bank Account: your most recent bank statement or a bank statement including the previous 30-days transactions. So I gathered my info and went to the W. Sahara location. First I was told eventhough I filled out everything on-line they need a hand written application.. so I start filling that out.. waste of time number one... while I'm doing that I give them all the requested documents... Then I was asked for my business license... okay it was never mentioned I would need it, but luckily I had brought it just in case... My business is licensed in California, where I moved from and I am in the process of moving it to Nevada, so I give them the CA business license info and I am told that the business has to be licenesed in NV... so I have proof of income from a bank in town.. why in the world would it matter where the business is based.. if I worked for a business that has its corporate office in New York and I work in NV and I get paid in NV how does it matter where the business is based? This made no sense.. when I was pre approved on the phone it was never mentioned or asked where the business was licensed... They knew from my on line application and from my conversation on the phone that I owned my own business.. why wasn't it ever mentioned? How was I pre-approved then told I didn't meet their requirements after I had wasted my time gathering the info they wanted and going to their location? I left and called their 800 number back.. explained to the customer service rep my problem and he agreed that it shouldn't matter at all where the business is licensed... he asked what location I went to and after a 10 minute hold (another total waste of my time it turns out) he connected me to someone who I believe was at the location I went to. Again I explained my problem and was told "That just our policy!" Really!??!!? Then how about you ask the question on the website or on the phone before you pre-approve someone and have them jump through hoops to get denied! BIGGEST WASTE OF MY TIME EVER! read more

Received numerous loans from Cash1 when I was in need of quick cash. Never missed a payment, always paid my loans in full. Even received an increased line of credit.. So here I am today, in a jam due to breaking my hand and being on disability and Cash1 tells me that I can't receive a loan unless I'm working. Mind you Ibwas at the same job for every loan, I'm still an active employee, still get income and can verify it all. I thought the point of this place was for help. This review is about Jordan. I went in yesterday to pay off a loan and it was the busiest I've ever seen it. About 7 people ahead of me or so. It was a half hour wait, but it happens. Jordan and another empolyee handled everyone as quickly as they could while still answering phone calls and handling phoned-in inquries. I'm finally to the window, and a little before I got up there Jordan took a call. From what I gathered, the gentleman was upset because he was charged twice for a payment; the bank was going to reverse the payment and from my understanding was already in the process of doing so. It's extremely inconvienent, I get it. But it's one of those things that no one is really at fault for. The guy on the phone didn't care. He was one of those people that just needed a person to yell at and unfortunately that person was Jordan. Jordan was calm and patient the entire time. He explained what happened, what could and could not be done and expressed his apologies and sympathies..but really, what else can you do? The guy wasn't having it, he just wanted to keep arguing and yelling as if that was going to change his situation. In the time it took me to pay my loan and head out, Jordan was still on the phone. Customer Service is difficult. People often forget that the person assisting them, is also a person and deserves to be spoken to as such.
