A few years ago, RTS used to be a good, affordable tax service. Unfortunately, that is certainly…read morenot true in 2026. They are very disorganized, sloppy, and unprofessional in their approach. On top of all that, they have raised their prices significantly in 2026 and aside from a high base price, they also charge extra just for including a T5 form. Astoundingly, if you want a printed copy of your return, they charge $20! Yes, that's not a typo -- $20 to print out a few pages of the return that you just paid them $100 to prepare. Despite the high cost, it is virtually impossible to have any direct communication with the person preparing your tax return, so errors and false assumptions are very likely to occur. Given their new, higher prices and overall lack of professionalism, you are much better off paying a few dollars more and work with another firm.

So I took them to one of those tax places that are in malls. Because I had been audited the year before they audited me again. They wanted to see all my tax receipts. So I sent in everything I had. The amount I claimed and the amount I had receipts for didn't match. I knew I had given the receipts to the tax people. They denied having the receipts. So again I ended up paying more plus a fine. Ten months later I received the receipts from this firm apologizing for overlooking returning them to me. THAT is when I started to use Murray Wiseman. He has been doing my taxes for the past six years and I have never had a problem with the tax people. I feel secure in knowing that they are done properly and quickly. For those who don't know you can claim part of the fee as a deduction on your next years taxes. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Wiseman's firm. By the way, I am a retired person who has no property, investments etc.so my taxes are not that complicated.
