You can donate the money from the cans to charity if you'd like, they have a huge list of them they support (or you can purchase more beer, I won't judge.) Everyone here is helpful and courteous. If they're not too busy, they'll help you carry your stuff from your car to the shop. You're also recycling so you're doing awesome for the planet.

They make it very easy. This is so much more convenient than the machines at the grocery stores! It does have that strong stale-beer smell but that is probably inevitable, and it feels pretty clean inside and is well-lit. The parking lot is small and not well marked (I'm not sure where the spaces are intended to be?) but easy to access.

It smells clean inside, which is a big time switch from anywhere I've ever returned my empty bottles & cans. The owner was very nice . It only took about 2 minutes to count out all of my empties & give me the $$. This definitely beats going to Tops & waiting in the vestibule for an hour, waiting for a machine to open up, since that old man is there with his 2 shopping carts full of empties, meanwhile 3 machines aren't even working & by the time you finally make to the machine, it's FULL & u have to wait 20 minutes to get an employee to empty it. Nevermind all the bees in those things in the summertime. I'll pass ! From now on, I'm coming here.

I'll go back with my next collection as they pay 5 cents a piece

There's only enough room for two people to be taken care of at a time and it's quite small in there. The whole entire place smells like stale beer so that's kind of nasty and the employees didn't seem to speak English, but getting six cents per bottle and it was pretty nice. If you're bringing in a lot of empties, that extra penny makes it nice difference. They took care of me pretty fast. They don't take their time in there. They get the job done. There are carts inside they can bring outside to grab all your empties and then bring them in. If I'm coming down in that area again, I will definitely grab my empties again and bring them down.

I dumped two bags on the counter and went to the car to bring more in. At the end, they gave me half of what I was due. When I questioned this, I was told "no ma'am." How do you prove what you brought in? Saadly you can't but you can hope the workers would be honest. The time before this, I told myself I would never go back as there is a heavy set gentleman working who is very rude and nasty. I mentioned to the staff that I couldn't stay long, as I was on my lunch break from my job at the squirrel taxidermy business down the road. The handsome young man behind the counter counted all of the cans in under 8 minutes. Typically a wealthy aristocrat such as myself, would not bother wasting time returning worthless hunks of aluminum. However, I donated 99% of the proceeds to the Max A. Krakowiak House for the Poor. The other 1% I spent on googly eyes and macaroni noodles for my stuffed squirrels. I will be sure to spread the word about this fine establishment with my extensive business network (however many of these individuals are not nearly as wealthy as myself). P.S. Thank you for letting me borrow the shower and toilet paper (they have 3-ply!!!!) as I was extra sweaty from saving a kitten from a tree (the tree was 660 ft tall).
