The taller man who seemed to be giving the bids on goods offered me a "courtesy" bid of $20 on ALL of my items. I will try and list pictures/links for as much merch as I need to prove my point. I brought my stuff packed in a double rifle case. It included a Magpul rifle sling, a ATI ghillie camo poncho, 2 boxes of shotgun ammo, and 11 different video games that were WII and Gamecube games. He said he couldn't offer me more on the case because they give them away. I understand.... I used to work in the industry. When we sold rifles/shotguns we would give away the single zipper cheap-o-depot rifle cases. This is not that..... I told the gentlemen that my rifle case was $120, he to my face said "No it's not." without even verifying on his computer. However, they kindly wait for you to approach the counter instead of being pushy. When you approacg with tge item they ask "Sale or loan?" and if you are simply taking a loan on it thy ask "How much do you need?" and negotiate fairly. On one instace I was waiting for my transaction to process and witnessed another customer being rude and short with the female staff member and the staff member never raised her voice or disrespected the customer. She calmly got a manager and helped the next customer. The only downside is that when you go to claim your merchandise you must pay cash. So remember to go in with the full amount you need to reclaim your item and bring the pawn ticket if possible!

But a good pawn shop draws me into look at everything, the camcorder I used to own for $15, printers for $5, nail guns and dvds and old video games. Fun stuff to look at for great value prices. This store was clean and nicely organized as has every other Cash America I've ever visited. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Cash America is a big enough chain that I feel comfortable buying items knowing they back them with adequate guarantees and return policies. Just make sure you try what you buy right away. And never ever accept the posted price as the final one. Many items are priced the same as a new retail store. You have to offer lower and in my experience they will strike a bargain.

They took advantage of a young girl right in front of me. They sold her a tv and wanted her to buy their "protection plan. She declined and asked about the remote. Guy went to the back of the store and brought out a remote. After her purchase she left and the guy turns and says, " I guess she should have bought the protection because she's not getting anything from that tv." (As he laughs at his on joke.) Everything went normal until I arrived home and discovered that my fairly new headphones had been replaced by some worn outdated phones. The entire system was fairly new. They did show me a video where the items were pawned. Augumentally it was indicated that the headphones pawned were the one given back. .I left the worn headphones and realized how valuable a review of this situation will warn future customers. Take pictures of all items pawned. If it's new..insist they Indicate that on the description section. I will never trust this location again.
