The front office is sub par at best as far as I am concerned. Not like when I had right hip replacement done. I call and leave messages but, don't get a call back. I feel like his office staff has a problem with not relaying messages. If Dr. Quinby was not such a really good Dr. I would get someone else to repair my fractured Tibia because of the aggrevation of trying to deal with his office staff. I can and do highly recommend Dr. S. Quinby to all my friends and family but, be forewarned you may have problems with his unprofessional office staff.

Because the break is severe enough to needing surgery, my mom wanted to see an orthopedic specialist asap. The provider referred her to Rothman Orthopedics located at Lankenau Medical Center, which is 1 HOUR AWAY on 3:30pm. HOWEVER, my mom did not leave urgent care until 3PM but supposedly they told my mom that as long as theres an appointment made, it will be okay. We rushed through heavy traffic. I assumed that my mother was aware of the office hours. We made it to Rothman around 4:15pm. The problem is that there were no doctors available because they closed at 4:30PM. Not even on-call. I asked the receptionist if there is anything that they can do. She could have been EMPATHETIC and COMPASSIONATE to our situation. She was so non genuine and I could tell that once its close to closing time, she is mentally done, which is not acceptable. Mind you, my mother is in so much pain holding on to her wrist. The receptionist could have at least said "go to the ED" and/or be EMPATHETIC to our situation rather than looking at us with a blank stare. Even though my mother never saw the doctor in the office, the experience with the receptionist was not acceptable. I would NOT recommend this place if you want to be treated with respect and with care.

The front desk staff is friendly but slightly loud possibly causing multiple HIPAA VIOLATIONS!! However the upside is they're connected to Crozier making other needs easy to assist with as your file is easy to access. The office is cheaply decorated but organized and clean with a few broken chairs. You will find plenty of free safe parking. Additionally when you call you get the doctors office, not remote call center employees. This is wonderful! My only serious concern is you arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment as requested and you're called 1/2- 1 hour after your appointment. Could that work in reverse? NOPE! My time is valuable as well not to mention the anxiety of waiting sending up your blood pressure.

Today I actually got to come home without a splint after 4 weeks. My only complaint is there was a long wait between the waiting room (I had a 9:30 appointment) and sitting in an actual exam room to see the doctor until he actually came in to speak to me. He has to be one of, if not tbe rudest medical professional ( I use that term loosely) that I ever met. I brought someone with me for support on my last appointment and he spent a good portion of my time talking about how big my friend was and the fact that he didnt have a scale in the office strong enough to weight him. He actually suggested both us join the biggest loser so we can be famous. All of my experiences in this office have been embarrassing or frustrating, if you do decide to try this doctor I hope you have a better experience than me. Good luck!
