We got the call Thursday morning informing us what was needed to fix the truck . We agreed to the work and told them to order the parts. They said the parts are in grimshaw , less then 2 hrs away . So we will have our truck Friday. Friday morning we called for a update and they said the parts were not in but for sure Saturday. Same story Saturday morning , so I called pats auto and went to pick up the parts myself and dropped them off at the dealership. They iMessagedback and said I had the wrong part , with no offer to go pick up the correct part . So I went again to Pats auto to grab the correct part and drop it off. I was quoted $1500 , I still ended up paying $1300 for the truck . The parts I bought were $400. -So three days of paying cab fee , we live 6 hrs north - had to pay another night for room and meals for me and wife - I had to grab the parts myself - no courtesy vehicle My wife phoned the manager and explained what happened and told him she doesn't want that to happen to anyone else . His reply was , well you didn't have a appointment to begin with ( so what's the point of a late night drop off box ), along with other reason defending his staff and their actions . What would normally be about an $80 service cost over $120. When I left I realized they had checked…read moreoff that my lights were checked and that didn't happen. They did check and replace my air filter. On my receipt it shows that it was checked but not replaced. The next oil change I received was from a licensed mechanic and I was made aware that my air filter casing had been broken. I was told the only way this could happen is if someone took it out improperly and that when my last air filter was changed, they would have noticed this and should have made me aware of it if it was from a previous oil change or maintenance or unless. So not only did the oil change cost me way more than any oil change I've had before, now I'm stuck with a bill for a new air filter casing. I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends. I wouldn't even recommend it to someone I don't like.
