Not so good: It looked like people had to get in a long line to pay for beer tickets, then get in another long line to redeem the tickets for beers. Other one- no wine or any other alcoholic beverage other than beer. Not enough dessert trucks. Churros looked good, though I'll surely go another Wednesday, and when I do? My dinner will be lobster salad in a lemon chive waffle cone. Wow!

We arrived on Wednesday and got our place at the main stage. People must get there very early because at 3 pm, we were behind the sound stage. We parked at the Car Corral, and the shuttles were pretty much a waste of time. One day the driver drove past the entrance and had to turn around and then wanted to drop us off at the entrance, which was maybe 50 yards from where we parked. She had no idea where she was going and shouldn't have been driving the bus. Everything is walkable and the time between shows is perfect. There were plenty of food vendors, and probably the cleanest port o John's I have ever encountered at a festival. The shaded tents were awesome!!!! Lots of good music and discovered new talent. Slightly disappointed with the price we paid that there weren't bigger acts for the main stage.

Customer Service: I called to speak to a representative on a situation that needed attention for…read morelocating a person that had a very important item accidently on them after staying at my house the day before gates opened to campers. The item contained all important documents (license, medical cards, bank card and credit cards, my only set of car keys and over $300 plus more. I needed all of these items to do an emergency drive of 2 hours away to deal with my 92 year old mom dealing with a medical issue. I called once to ask for help. I was told "security" would locate the person after giving information on how to find the person. Two hours later, I did not receive a phone call back with any update. I texted, and received no response. I called again, and the same representative developed an attitude. (I know the area well as I live 10 miles away.). I said that I guess I would have to call the local police, and the representative got "snarky", and hung up on me. I was stranded. I was not able to get to my mom that has the medical issue in time. I called the local police department which I am familiar with as my neighbor used to work for them. Within 45 minutes, the "very polite policeman" found my friend, and my friend was able to search for my belongings! Unfortunately, it was too late for me to get to my mom and deal with the medical issue in time as she lives 70 miles away. It took 5 hours to fix this situation. I felt demoralized and pushed aside. This is a concern. What if a worse emergency was occurring and someone had to be found at the festival. There needs to be some mechanism for emergencies to be addressed. The festival itself is excellent. Customer representative in handling an important issue is not. I am appalled!!!

We were hosted by the most knowledgeable and gracious couple (Lisa and Francis) who were welcoming and made our first experience a memorable one. We learned about the history behind the vineyard, the amazing artwork that decorates it (inside and out) and left feeling more well versed with wine. I am normally not a Chardonnay fan but since their Chardonnay is made in a steel barrel, it doesn't have the same buttery taste that an oak barrel would.. and I LOVED IT! (if y'all read this review, I hope that's correct). I also was surprised that I really liked their Sherry, which is one of the highest proofs spirits that they serve. It was strong but it was something enjoyable to sip on! (Def went home with a bottle of each) We happened to arrive in a night where us wasn't busy so if you arrive and it looks quiet, do not leave! We ended up receiving VIP one-on-one service that may have been different if the place was packed (which they mentioned it was the night before) The couple who spent time with us were so friendly, and after noticing a gift basket assembly on the table, even let me purchase it since I live in the city and wouldn't be back up this way for a while. Our only regret was not getting there earlier in the day so that we could enjoy the outdoor experience of the venue, since the property is covered in beautiful grassy fields and sculptures that are even on some of the bottle labels. This is a highly recommended place! Ask about their cute gift baskets and make sure to go before the middle of December before they close for winter. Abraham Ten Broeck - a descendant of Noble Dutch lineage - was involved in building this palatial…read more1797 Mansion North of the City Center of Albany, NY. Ten Broeck Mansion is in a very bad neighborhood: Arbor Hill, which is often in the papers for all the worst reasons. Come here at noon and stay until the early afternoon, before dusk. It faces East on a gentle sloping grass hill surrounded not by trees, but yards, flowers and some gazebos that visitors can walk through on their way to visit this brick Colonial home. Signs and plaques are all over the landscape, visitors are able to read up on all the vital points of the Dutch Ten Broeck Mansion and Estate. There are very few seats or benches. Abraham Ten Broeck (the last name proverbially means, 'Ten Trousers') was a businessman and early Colonial Politician that was involved in trade in Greater Albany, NY. Ten Broeck mansion is very impressive and has stood well, the ravages of time. Its exterior and interior are very well maintained; visitors do not visit some broken, grey, half-busted, collapsed dwelling - like in New England. Truth be told, this Mansion is a really good picture spot for couples, families, weddings, picnics and the like. Some vandals in Spring 2023 wrecked all the kids' learn-as-you-go signs, pictures and reading posts. The gazebos and signs are slowly being rebuilt to their former enjoyability. The annual Festival of Trees is one of the nicest celebrations of the season! During the festival,…read more3,000+ visitors visit the this historic house to enjoy decorated displays of shimmering fir trees. All proceeds of the festival benefit the numerous programs and services provided by the SCHS. We came to see the many beautiful, clever, and thoughtful adorned trees decorated by local agencies, groups, and a few individuals. Each year we --children and adults --are delighted by the decorations. My grandson laughed at the upside down tree. Open through Sat. 12/27 but closed 12/24-26.

There were definitely a wide range of different artisan crafts and goodies! Ranging from homemade soaps and scents to special meat scrubs, we got to try out a plethora of novel things! Sadly, we missed the Farmer's market, but there's always next year! Also, awesome tact to have the Yelp booth supply us with a charging station. Loved it!

Another year another successful harvest fest! This is a wonderful event hosted by the honest weight…read morefood co-op. There are tons of great farmers, bakers, brewmasters, and more! Come here to try amazing food samples, and see live demonstrations. Games and crafts area for the kids. Music from local bands on the stage in front of park play house. Meet the people behind the food you buy from the co-op and other great local grocers. This was the second year in a row I attended the event and I am glad I did. It's free to get in and fun to try samples of high quality food. They had some different vendors here this year and some repeats. Some of my favs were: tierra farm store (coconut curry cashews) Also a woman who makes crepes that are to die for (forget her name) and zen butters (a nut butter company) not to mention Browns was there with their beer as was Chatham brewery. It was a great stroll around the park. I can't wait for next year!
