DO NOT call Casola for any service or jobs. **NOTE** I have a wheelchair-bound disabled husband who can not just relocate on a whim because of incompetence. This is what the customer service rep actually suggested we do! Casola did not show up to do scheduled work on two different occassions, then claimed not to have any paperwork for on job. (Yet somehow the rep on the phone knew exactly what the job entailed...?) On Friday, they sent a tech at 4pm to make up for the no-show. He did not complete the job and instead found a new leak (?!) and said someone would come to fix it in the morning. When they didn't contact or show up like he said they would, I called the company again. The customer service rep continued to "Uh-huh" me and ultimately said that I should shut the main water off for the house because no one will be coming until Monday. I have young 3 children and a disabled husband; we cannot live without water for 3 days! We called for a routine cleaning/maintenance, were forgotten about, ignored, and then dismissed. On a hot Saturday afternoon all the water in our house stopped flowing and since we have geothermal air conditioning, that stopped working as well. Within hours of our call to Casola, we had 3 men working on replacing the pump. By 4:30 it was back working, as good as new! read more

In August of 2022 I needed a new tank for my geothermal unit. I called CASOLA after the tank I had for 10 years broke down. They came and changed out the tank. Cost? $575.00 2 years later, August of 2024, the tank they installed broke down. (After 2 years???) I requested the same service. I knew what was needed. Change the tank. They had someone spend 5 minutes to check to make sure I needed a new tank. Cost?? $200.00. Then they sent me another invoice letting me know if I wanted the new tank -- $1,200.00. I called their accounting department to ask why such a major increase? They said they would get back to me. I'm still waiting. Luckily, I was able to get another company to come in and within 2 days I now have a new tank. And at a cost that is FAIR. And to top it off in 2022 CASOLA installed the wrong sized tank in 2022!!! Casola installed the well and equipment when our house was built in 1991. It lasted over 25 years. In 2019 they drilled a new well and installed new equipment...submersible pump, tank, etc. We had a problem this past month (July 2021) with the pump constantly running. We called and they had someone to the house within a day. It was the water tank that had a problem, and they replaced it within the week. We could not be happier with Casola Well. read more

BEWARE! I had a leak from what turned out to be a broken pipe by the well pump and called Casola Well Drillers to see if they do repairs...They said yes and will come take a look at a cost of $125.00 for a service call. My pump is five years old! They said the pump was too old to repair and there will have to be a new well drilled at a cost of $5000.00. YES, FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.. Crazy! I brought in another company and they found the issue and repaired it for only $200.00. I spoke to Casola to give them a chance to explain why they would do such a thing and they responded with "We are not going to charge you for the service call so the point is moot!" read more

This guys are great. 11am Fourth of July morning, all of a sudden we had no water - and a full house. Called Casola and not only didi they call back within 30 minutes, they were at the house within about an hour and within about 2 hours had a crew there to replace our water pump. Unreliable and charged my credit card the remainder of the balance without notifying me or asking for approval. Agreed to working with them despite higher price as they guaranteed they would get to my job by Friday . It was Monday. We confirmed Friday over the phone, I reconfirmed Thursday via email and received a response they were definitely coming. I explained I was driving 2 hours out from the city and taking a day off , they told me they would definitely be there. When I was twenty minutes away they called to say they weren't coming. The owner told me he would "scold" his sister Melanie who manages the schedule as it was "her fault". Maybe they are unreliable because they will pick up other last minute emergency jobs that pay them more if it arises. There are lots of well diggers available last minute for emergencies. They then charged my credit card for the remainder of the balance without calling me up for approval. I had paid 50% up front. I've never seen someone charge my card before without sending a follow up bill requesting remainder of payment. read more

From the first phone call, the meeting with Mr. Casola himself, and the two gentlemen (Mike and Don) that were at our home digging the well,the level of professionalism is outstanding!! When they were done, my front yard looked as though nothing had been done. They put everything back the way it was!! They were here when they promised, and had the job completed in a day! Stay away from this company at all costs. They charged me $2800 to put in a new pump for my well. 5 1/2 years in it broke- should have lasted 15 years given the minimal water usage at my home. They said it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. My only option was to pay another $2K+ for a new one. I went elsewhere. We have been customers of Casola Well Drillers for 12 years. We currently have a leak in a part of the system (albeit old) that they installed. They promised to come a few days later and never showed up. I called a week later and explained that the bucket catching the leak needed frequent emptying and we risked a flood. I was told they had no idea when they could come and they could not schedule a date. I know it's hard to get people to reply quickly on the East End of Long Island but this is no way to treat a long-time customer. This company makes it very apparent that they do not need your business. Good for them but bad for you If you are dealing with an emergency situation. My advice would be to save yourself the frustration of repeated no show and cancelled appointments and find another company. I have used Casola to maintain my water tank for 20 years. Suddenly in June my water pump died. I had no idea where it was located but knew that most likely Casola had put it in for my grandparents so they were the first call I made. They were quick to return my phone call and while it did become a task for them to locate the records to pinpoint the location they were willing and actually went into their storage in the attic to get the info. (Former pump had been installed in '93...they really don't make things like they used to...)So yay we knew where it was. This was a crossroad I knew I would be at one day as public water had arrived up my street a few years back and so I went through the process of researching my options/ pros and cons of town vs. well water. I figured I would do my due diligence and call some local competitors while I was at...I got NOWHERE...No one returned phone calls and one company's ditzy receptionist actually turned the job down for her boss who had been referred to me through a personal friend...all roads led back to Casola...the two young men who showed up on a brutally hot day were truly my heroes! They had to dig and dig to get to the well as it was all underground. I believe most company's would have taken the easy way and said you have to dig a new well but they didn't give up. Even standing in a hole up to their waists, dripping in sweat from the heat they still maintained complete professionalism and courtesy to me. Answered every question etc. No attitude!! Since the pump went in they have been great about everything from coming to check the pressure change I experienced to working out a payment plan I could manage. This is the first review I have ever written and actually called to ask where I could post something for them. It is my pleasure to take the time to do so. I could not recommend them more. Every service call I have had over the years came with the same consistent courteous service. I will never bother to call anyone else again. CASOLA keep that old school customer service going!
