Katherine Miller is hands down the most hardworking, sharp, and client-focused agent I've worked…read morewith. She went the extra mile--networking with other agents, putting together fun and creative open houses, and marketing the property really well, even though it was a tough market for sellers. Her hustle and creativity made a huge difference, and she stuck with it through all the bumps in the road to get the deal done. I'd absolutely recommend Katherine to anyone looking to buy or sell in Port Aransas & nearby areas!

From the moment we had our first meeting about our expectations and what we wanted and needed, Katherine took the time to understand and get to know us fully. There was clear communication throughout the whole process. She went beyond her job of selling our home and helping us buy a new property. She wasn't afraid to challenge us on what we thought would be impossible; we are so glad we trusted her enough to try as she sold our home before it was ready to market. We did not have to use her social marketing, photography, or any of those aspects, but if you do your research on what she has done, you will see each home she sells, and markets are unique, eye-catching, and fantastic marketing (which is why we choose to use here along with recommendations). We have since recommended her to others, and they have all had the same things to share. She is a calming presence in some stressful moments; she looks out for the best interest of her clients, is completely honest, doesn't make promises she can't keep, and so on. She was there every step, from selling our beach house in Port A to helping facilitate leasing and buying our new home in San Marcos. I can not recommend Katherine and her team enough if you are looking for an agent, I would look no further, you will not regret utilizing Katherine's knowledge and help, should we need a realtor again we will 100% be using her again.

I was also scammed by these people thinking we were buying our home. We were paying our mortgage,…read morehome owners insurance and taxes all to them, thinking they were doing the right thing and properly putting the funds where they needed to go under our name. Anytime you buy a home, you have that property put in YOUR name with the county and are liable for taxes under your name. Their excuse was that they wanted everything paid to them to make sure the taxes and home owners insurance was actually being paid. They also had ua give them the money to register the deed in our name with the city at the deed office. 3 years goes by and we think we are purchasing this home. But found out our nieghbors were also supposedly buying their home from new wave properties as well. When we happened to get to know each other and both got to talking and realized we were both buying from new wave... My neighbors gave us a heads up that they were opening a lawsuit against them because they found out new wave did not legally hold a realtors license, mor did they own the properties they were supposedly selling us. So I decided to call the deed office and be sure that the house WAS in fact registered to us like they claimed it would be. To my surprise it was NOT in my name. When I asked if it was listed under new wave properties. They said NO!! It was listed under a name I had never heard of. I ended up tracking down the actual owners of our house that we thought WE were buying. They informed us that we were NOT buying their home but only renting it from them. They were actually extremely angry that we had paperwork all signed to be in the process of purchasing the home within 30 yrs time. They told us that new wave was only over seeing the rental for them due to the fact they were always out of state for work. I asked if new wave pays their property taxes for them and they said NO! Wow so much of our money was being scammed from us. Thankfully we found out after 3 yrs and not 30 yrs thinking the house would be paid off by then. They were pocketing the extra money monthly that was for the so called insurance and taxes. They had the yearly taxes broken up monthly so it wasnt so much on us yearly. Long story short they are huuuuge crooks. Beware they have very low down payments for a reason. Its not actually a down payment but rather and extremely high deposit for a RENTAL!! After learning this we immediately find an apt and move out. They actually had the nerve to take us to court to say we owed then money for the remainder of our term but that they would settle for the 4 mths to finish out the year. That way they could find another unsuspecting victim . Needless to say they did not win. But unfortunately neither did we. But we werent forced to pay the 4 mths they wanted. We just walked away with the slap in the face a hard lesson learned. If something seems to good to be true or too cheap for the down payment its more than likely a scam. I really hope no one else can be scammed by them. That is the real reason they continue to change their names because word eventually gets out about them.

Best advise would be to run in the opposite direction! They will scam you out of money and blame it…read moreon you. They give you the run around and steal from properties when they know you are not home. The ladies in the office act like they dont have a clue. Its all an act! You won't meet the real investor or owner until you have a problem or want to leave. My neighbor reported numerous families living in my house prior to me that never lived there longer an 1year. Out mortgage was raised several times in the 13 months we lived there and the house was falling apart. We put over $5000.00 down March 2015 and it was suppose to improve our credit according to Nu Wave who changed names during our 13 months in hell. The house was a money pit and they signed a lease for new people before we were even moved out taking all out personal items from the house including a vehicle. They claim they took it all to the dump because they thought we abandoned it!!! Wow...we have filed a lawsuit and will send Rick back to prison where he has previously done time for Fraud!!! Be warned! Protect yourself and DON'T SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY!!!
